This the report that JK Rowing doesn't want you to see. This report scares her so much that she is trying to destroy Amnesty International, a human rights organization, to stop you reading it:
Amnesty International put out a major report documenting the influence of UK based anti trans gender critical organizations and their fundin
(Amnesty already pulled the report because of JKR's threats. Of course that didn't and won't stop her - capitulating to fascists and bigots is never the answer. Alejandra captured the report and posted it, so you can read what JKR doesn't want you to know.)
Bluesky thread is a lot of screenshots (which I find impossible to cope with), but if you scroll far enough down, there's a link to the full pdf:
My good folks? Please stop reblogging this with incitements to violence. If you do, I will assume you are a terf fedposting, and report and block you as such.
And for those who don't fw Google Docs, here's an Internet Archive link:

the year is 2035. the new beauty standard is for women to cut their ears off, as ears are a masculine trait which make the face look too big and hearing isnt necessary as it doesnt align with being demure. evil feminists say perhaps this is unnecessary and ears are natural. women are agressively proclaiming they are cutting their ears off due to sensory issues
to anyone in the areas impacted by the wildfire smoke, my #1 biggest piece of advice as someone whos been dealing with wildfire smoke in the NW united states for years, is build yourself a Corsi-Rosenthal Cube
they perform as well as expensive HEPA air cleaners, and are comparatively VERY inexpensive. all you need is a box fan, 4 air filters, a piece of cardboard, and some duct tape!!!!
i think it took us maybe a half hour to put ours together, if that, and we replace the filters every 3 months. it's really made a HUGE difference, both when the air quality is bad, but also with our allergies
Saw these easy to read instructions on Twitter. Stay safe π
Also just a handy, DIY air filter in general, if a bit bulky. For a less bulky and cheaper (but also less effective) solution, you can simply tape one filter to the fan, cut a shroud if you'd like.
just FYI, this is quite literally what the climate scientists at my work who specialized in wildfire smoke impacts recommend. it works great, it's cheap to make, and it will make a noticeable impact on your air quality.
i have asthma & keep one of these running in my room perpetually. after I set it up the difference in my sleep quality was pretty much night and day. Dont waste your time on proprietary air filters; SIMPLY bust out the duct tape
[Image ID 1: A Corsi-Rosenthal Cube. This cube was constructed with 4 MERV-13 filters and features a cardboard bottom.
Image ID 2: An infographic titled "How to build a corsi-rosenthal box". There are diagrams accompanying instructions, which are as follows:
"The Corsi-Rosenthal Box is an affordable DIY air-cleaning system made with simple materials found in hardware stores. The box fan pulls air through the filters on the sides and blows out clean air. It is proven to reduce indoor exposure to airborne particles including those containing the virus that causes COVID-19. The box can also decrease the levels of other particles in the air, such as dust or wildfire smoke.
Filters can last up to a year
Keep away from walls and corners
The Materials:
Filters 3M 1900 MPR ( 20" * 20" * 1" or 20" *25" * 1") or MERV 13 (20" *20" * 2" or 20" * 20" * 1" or 20" * 25" * 2" or 20" * 25" * 1" [2-inch preferred])
Lasko or Mainstays 20-inch Box Fan
Scissors, Utility Knife, Duct Tape
The Cube:
Arrange the filters to create a symmetrical structure
Ensure the arrows are pointing inwards
Duct tape the four edges
Vertical orientation of the pleats is preferred
The Base:
Use one side of the fan's cardboard box
Cut the cardboard to fit the base of the cube.
Duct tape it on all four sides
The Fan:
Place the fan on top of the cube
Seal all sides, including corners
Ensure any holes on the side of the fan are sealed off with duct tape
The Shroud:
Cut a circular hole (15.75" diameter)
Cut the other cardboard sheet to fit the top of the fan
Place the shroud on the fan and tape it on all four sides
The shroud increases efficiency and decreases the noise level"
There is a diagram next to each section demonstrating that step. The image has the credits "Illustrator: Marija MladenoviΔ, Creator: Shiven Taneja"

I thought I needed a new laptop but nope, youtube is slowing down your PC if you have adblock on on any open tab...
To be very clear about this: CPUs aren't magical devices that can operate forever. They generate heat. They wear out over time. This happens faster when they're operating near capacity. This is not just an attempt to inconvenience you; this is an attempt to damage your property.
For the "crime" of not wanting to be tracked/have ads pissed into your eyeballs 24/7.
Even if you've paid for the "privilege" of the latter.
Fuck Google, and I hope they get sued into oblivion over this.
i see everyone in the notes talking about newpipe but nobody's talking about youtube alternatives for desktop
IF YOU USE A DESKTOP PC OR LAPTOP, TRY INVIDIOUS
https://invidious.io/
it is a free, open-source alternative YouTube front-end. in addition to not having ads, it has other great QoL features like a download button. try one of the several instances on that link up there ^^^^
so i was super pissed and concerned about this but i have just discovered that while this is true, it is apparently only true for google chrome users. i just tested this by having ten tabs open in firefox playing ten different youtube videos at the same time and my cpu usage spiked to 25% as the videos were loading and then dropped back down to 10% as they played.
if you ever needed another reason to switch to a different browser, this is it.
Sometimes it's not "your fault" but it's still "your problem" because nobody else can fix it.
If your history of trauma causes you to respond to totally normal interactions as if you're under threat of violence, you are likely to be a source of trauma for other people, and you should work on that.
It's not your fault that you were traumatized, but you're literally the only person who can fix you.

Nigerian Pride π³οΈβππ³π¬
I meant to have this out yesterday. Happy belated pride. :)
Already know I wanna send this to people on June 1
ITS TIME
[Video description: A short clip from the show Make Some Noise. Erika Ishii, imitating Ebenezer Scrooge, points dramatically and yells, "You, boy! What day is it?" Brennan responds, "It's pride, bitch!" End description.]

Happy Pride!
Every pride, you must reblog this. No exceptions
I love that four different people on my feed scheduled this joyous person to reblog by 8am on June 1. I look forward to seeing this a dozen more times today.
I know the hype right now is to boycott youtube but youtube is also a part of google, so why not degoogle as well?
Here is a reddit resource link and image post via bsky to get started:
EDIT: I'd like to iterate that most, if not all of these apps are for the Android phone since Android phones come with google already installed.
eh get rid of Brave Browser, it's based on Google Chrome and they're not exactly the most trustworthy kind. Actually, cut out anything Brave to be safe. On the upside, Lynx is still in active development
Addressing a few concerns
So, I assume most of you don't know, but there is a bit of drama inside the Paralives community. It's funny because this whole thing is revolving around The Sims 3.
TwistedMexi made his first paywalled "early access" mod called Sims 3 Camera, and I've been working on the same thing as he was. 1. Let's get the "clone" allegation out of the way first.
(Source: TwistedMexi's discord server)
TwistedMexi is accusing me of cloning his mod, but letβs look at the facts. Thankfully, I always use GitHub, so the commit dates are there to prove it.
(2026-05-26 22:27:02 +0200) is a timestamp of the first commit with hash d82ddd909e06833b0f8d5d439ad602d04a4f3e08
(2026-05-27T19:57:44.000+00:00) is a timestamp of the publication date of his Patreon post.
Honestly, I didn't know I could see the future, but ok.
2. The second thing I want to address is that currently there are a lot of awful comments directed at Tmex. PLEASE do not harass other creators.
3. Regarding early access and paywalls: My mods are developed in my spare time as a passion project. I believe in keeping my work accessible to everyone, which is why all of my content will remain completely free, forever. I believe the community should play a role in maintaining projects if the original creator steps away, which is why I always share the source code for my projects Free mods are a pillar of a healthy community, whereas paywalls only lead to gatekeeping and unnecessary drama. My hope is that more creators choose to release their mods in a way that prioritizes community growth and shared resources.
A reblog would be greatly appreciated to help spread this message.
Thanks for reading,
xoxo, Arro Ps. If you want to see a broader discussion on this topic, I recommend this Reddit post that goes way more in-depth than I do. It's a good read.
and it starts.... "paywalling script mods is fine because the devs only talked about steam shop mods" SIGHHHHHHH
paralives players parablr please dont let this greed be the norm complain to the devs alot so they make an official announcement not just a discord message
i mean why would the devs be okay with early access or paywalls when they very very clearly said the game will be free with no DLCs
sigh
Makes Paralives camera behave like the one in The Sims 3.
somebody has made a FREE version of the camera mod on Nexus Mods for anyone interested. stop letting these greedy people act like they're the second coming of christ
