such a good chapter, good, if galinda wasn't so mean to Elphaba int he canon at firts she would be my fav character, but i still dont forgive her for the firts act and less for the second. Elphaba is just so good (or needy) to forgive Galinda and become her friend.
ABOUR THE CHAPTER, poor Boq , but i was laughting so hard, Galinda shoving past the poeple kinda make me think of this scene in the Musical of Legally blond were Elle is al sweet, moving past the law student as she saw he ex and then said COMING TROUGH ( THIS SCENE , he, i put it on the exact timestamp)
Also, while reaidng it at firts i tough the Galinda actually volunteeer for elphaba, thinking that now Elphaba was gonna share with Reader and she be like, no, no, if it can be me, i would no be ANYONE , and she simply acept elphaba jkjkjk. Then i re-read and understand the scene better.
I like how you write them so muhc, how we could see more actual interactins with the cast (cause honestly, all of them are delulu, and only galinda was brave enough to already make a move)
I'm curious how Reader sees oscar by now? ,I mean, yeah I'm into old guys, but If i were in Readers place I'll just see him like a pathernal figure there, i mean, another humas, old, protective who is helping me. I'm not sure if Reader see Oscar as that or as a friend...cause i'll be creep out y my pathrnal figure kisses my hand XD
Also, i'll be interesting to see that and if Oscar tell her his feeling at any moment, Reader will be shock like...
Oscar: Yeah, we should make or relationship ofical
Reader: you're gonna adopt me? :D
Oscar : What...NO!!
Reader : :c
Well, I need to go back to work, i wanna draw the uniform so badd , not sure if its like the one if the movie, cause i imagine it completly diferent while reader XD, so lets see if i can doodle some mix of it. And I'll send those omegaver headcanons later, pormise!!
Thanks fo the update!
Hiii @imlovewithpixels !!!
I'm soo glad you like it!!! ;0; i wasn’t sure if it was good enough ;;
Yeah Poor Elphie is too kind sometimes, but now she won’t be alone ;)) Bc our Good Witch won’t stand for bullying! She has an ally already even though she doesn't realize it yet!
AND YEAHH, GALINDA BE PUSHING HER WAY THRU TO GET TO HER CRUSH NO MATTER WHAT!! SHE!! WILL!! GET!!! THERE!!! Poor Boq was both in her way & competition in her eyes at that point!! Tbh Galinda secretly preferss having to room with Elphie over Elphie being the lucky one to get to room with you... (When Morrible ends showing favoritism by allowing Elphie to go into your suite, Galinda is gonna take that very personally and suddenly she's all about needing help studying (even if she gets straight A's)).
Yeahhh!! I wanna write random everyday interactions to flesh out the characters and explain their dynamics with Our Good Witch, as well as how their feelings evolve to yandere territory. All of them are absolutely Delulu (moreso Oscar and Galinda at this point in the story, but the rest will get there) and it's so funny when they start noticing eachother as rivals in love... the sheer petiness they can get down to do... fighting over seats in the cafeteria or even running to get a seat next to the window you like sittint at...
Our Good Witch's feelings for the Wizard are complicated right now, as you said he's been very helpful and protective sometimes even paternal but at the same time he acts not very platonically towards her, he basically gives her emotional whiplashes everytime they're together, so her feelings are all over the place, he gets a reaction out of her bc she sees his attractiveness and when he acts romantic she feels her heart pick up. But overall, right now she believes he's just being charismatic and playful. The wizard will have to up his game and act more obviously romantic if he wants our Good Witch to believe his actions and feelings are romantic.
(LITERALLY POOR (Y/N) XDDD SHE WANTED A DAD, BUT THE WIZARD WANTS TO BE HER DADDY—)
Regarding the uniforms, you can design them however you like them to be!!! I looked at interviews about them and it's as I said in the fic, there is a store where each student goes and orders their custom uniform, the only mandatory thing is the colors (navy and cream) & the stripes. But the patterns and styles can be however the student wants, that's why we see such unique uniforms in the background characters in the Shiz scenes. Only Galinda (and Our Good Witch) can break the rule about the colors because she's extremely rich and it's implied that her parents are patrons of the school so she can get away with it. While our Good Witch can get away with it because she has the mark of the Wizard of Oz all over her.
Yesss!! Please send me everything you come up with!!! ♥︎♥︎ I love reading everything you come up with and seeing your amazing art!! 💚💚💚💚💚

CHAPTER III : WHEN SHIZ LOSES IT’S SHIZ.
.˳·˖✶𓆩𓁺𓆪✶˖·˳.
The Wizard learned about the news the way he learned the most upsetting things; casually eavesdropping on guards or people that worked in the Emerald city and too late to fix it or pretend it didn’t matter.
“The new year at Shiz University resumes next week,” Madam Morrible said, adjusting a stack of parchment as if she were announcing the weather. “It would be… prudent for Our Good Witch to attend. Visibility among the youth, academic legitimacy… a symbol of cooperation.”
The Wizard did not answer, he just stood at the window, hands folded behind his back, watching the Emerald City rearrange itself for a new day below him—banners lifted, streets swept, a city being polished into something presentable, worthy.
Shiz University.
‘Too far.’ The Wizard thinks, biting his lower lip. ‘Too full of people who hadn’t learned to need me.’ The silence in the room was almost unbearable, even Madame Morrible felt unease in her spine. “She’ll be gone for… how long?” he asked at last.
Morrible paused, just long enough to be deliberate, for the blow to settle. “A year, two semesters.”
“A year,” he repeated, voice flat, his back still turned to Morrible. “And after that?”
“She may return,” Morrible said. “Or she may not—”
The Wizard turned sharply, eyes fiery with rage. “You said—”
“I said she must be seen,” Morrible interrupted, closing on the Wizard’s personal space. “Not kept.”
The word struck him like a slap.
Kept.
He swallowed, breathing unevenly.“No.” He answered, his fist almost white from how hard he was clenched them. “She’s not ready,” he insisted, fixing his burning gaze on Morrible’s. “She’s still learning her place. Oz is—”
“—a stage,” Morrible finished coolly. “And Shiz is where the top players from the land of Oz learn how to stand without help.” He burst into laughter then, a thin, manic but strained sound.
“And what— pray tell, if she learns she doesn’t need us?”
Morrible looked at him steadily. “Then she will learn the truth.”
“And what truth is that?” he snarled.
“That goodness,” Morrible said, “is most powerful when it is chosen freely.”
The Wizard turned away. ‘She will forget me’, he thought wildly. ‘She will meet someone younger, someone who doesn’t need to hide behind wires and smoke.’ His hands went to rub his suddenly stinging eyes. ‘She will look back and see me as what I am, an insignificant old man. As a kindness she outgrew.’
His hands trembled in rage. “Still– No.” He growled, violently taking a sip of the small bottle of green elixir on his table. Madame Morrible sighed, rubbing the bridge of her nose as she realized this was going to be harder than she thought. She had a long few days of arguing left to reason with this absolute thickheaded man.
.˳·˖✶𓆩𓁺𓆪✶˖·˳.
You were told gently, Morrible always did things gently when cruelty would be inefficient. “Shiz will be good for you,” she said, handing you a neatly tied bundle of parchment and fabric. “Theory, history, structure… And we will continue your sorcery classes at my seminar. Besides uniforms—very important! Consistency, matching fabrics and colors, builds team pride, family, trust.”
You unfolded the fabric: navy, green and cream. The uniform consisted of a cream blouse with puffy sleeves that ended with golden lace, with a green vest with white stripes and gold trims and buttons in the shape of stars. A slightly flared skirt that fell one finger above the knee, also green with stripes and three star shaped buttons in a vertical row on the left side of the hip. Completing the look was a cream silk neckbow with the “OZ” sigil embroidered there and a velvet navy jacket with the university’s insignia and gold trims. All in all modest, elegant and possessive.
“It’s beautiful,” you said honestly.” Everyone is wearing the same?” You asked and Morrible smiled condescendingly sweet.
“Oh no sweetheart, no. “ She brushed your hair, smiling down at you. “ There's a school store and everyone can go pick out whatever they want as long as they are in the school colors” She pointed at the skirt. “Navy and cream. Everyone is wearing some combination of the two colors, lots of stripes too. It’s for unity as well as individuality, dear.”
You looked at her with an eyebrow raised, “Then… why’s mine mostly green? Won’t I stand out?”
Morrible smile twitched for a second, she couldn’t really tell you the reason why (‘It’s one of the conditions, sweetie, for the Wizard to allow you to go. He needs to stake his claim, he’s a very very insecure man.’) So she just just smiled “ Well… technically you’re wearing the school colors, and people can wear whatever they want. You’re representing Oz, dear. Representing yourself as The Good Witch of Oz.
A little more confused, you held the skirt in front of you as you gazed at the mirror “ Then… shouldn’t it be silvery-blue?” You gazed at Morrible with such a sweet gaze that a devilish idea crossed her mind. She wouldn't be breaking her promise to Oscar, just… Giving you more wardrobe. As the Good Witch of Oz you couldn't be seen with the same clothes twice in a week…
“Well… We can always commission some uniforms that are more yours… Would you like that?” You smiled and nodded. “Good, I’ll call the seamstress to come ASAP. We have only a few days left, you should start packing your trunks.”
“I… I didn’t realize I’d be leaving so soon.” You look down at the floor, fidgeting with the skirt in your hands. “I have to say goodbye to Chistery and his brothers, and the guards and the cleaning crew of the Emerald Palace, they all have been so kind–”
“You won’t be leaving Oz,” Morrible replied. “You’ll be expanding. Meeting new important people, making friends.” You nodded, though something in your chest felt tight.
“And the Wizard?” you asked, biting your lower lip in a nervous habit. “He thinks this is best?”
Morrible smiled. “He trusts my judgment.” But that was not really an answer to the question you had asked.
.˳·˖✶𓆩𓁺𓆪✶˖·˳.
That evening, after the seamstress had finished showing you her best fabrics and most intricate designs, the Wizard asked for you alone. No guards. No curtain. Just the two of them in the quiet of his private study that felt suddenly too small.
“You’re going to Shiz,” he said, as if saying it aloud might make it negotiable.
“Yes,” You replied softly. “Madam Morrible says it’s important for me to learn more about Oz and meet new people.”
He nodded once, too sharply to be in agreement. ‘She would say that, that witch–’ He thought. “She’s… She’s right,” he coughed, swallowing hard his pride. “Of course she is.” The silence pressed in, making the air almost suffocating.
“I didn’t know,” you ventured, “that goodness needed studying.” You joked, sitting next to him on the couch, your hand holding his in support.
His mouth twitched in what could be considered a smile. “Everything does if it’s going to last.” He held your hand closer, concern softening your features.
“I won’t change.” His weak composure almost broke when you looked at him like that.
“You will,” he said quietly. “Everyone does.”
You reached out then with your free hand, touched his sleeve, light and sincere holding the man. “I’ll come back,” You promised. “I always do.”
He covered your hands before he could stop himself and held them far too long, laying a soft kiss on the back of your hand. “Be careful,” he said, voice low. “Shiz is full of people who will admire you for all the wrong reasons.”
“And you?” you asked and as your eyes met his, something sincere, unguarded, naked flickered there before the Wizard’s mask slid back into place.
“I admire you,” he said, “because you're real, because you saw me and still wanted to stay." To his words you smiled at that, kissing his cheek in sweet farewell and — against the will of his heart– he let go of you, both physically and metaphorically. As you left the room, parchment with his seal in it tucked under your arm, the Wizard remained, standing where you had been, fingers curled as if still holding your warmth and two fingers touching the fuzzy feelings in the cheek you had just kissed.
‘This is temporary,’ he told himself. ‘It’s necessary. It’s the best for her’ But as the door closed, and the echo of your footsteps faded, another thought crept in quietly, true and far more dangerous: ‘If she learns who she is, that she can live freely without me… I may not survive it.’
The first day at Shiz University had always been loud, ambition echoed off its towers, laughter and conversation ricocheted through its stone walls and courtyards. Students arrived every year certain they would be seen.
But that year, they were wrong.
Galinda arrived as if the school had been waiting for her, sitting in her mountain of pink trunks and waving at every student already in the pier, Phanne and Shenshen already waiting for her in the docking area. Her trunks were carried before she stepped onto the cobblestones, pink silk flashing in the sun, laughter trailing her like fanfare and a distinctively silvery blue scarf tied around her neck. All students turned instinctively, heads swiveling, whispers igniting.
“That 's Galinda!!.”
“She’s stunning!”
“She’s already so popular!!"
Galinda smiled as if she had personally arranged the acoustics. She climbed the central steps, turned, and claimed the space with a practiced ease that bordered on imperial. “Hello, everyone!” She called and everyone answered, Galinda basked in it, heart racing and cheeks flushing. Her parents quickly hugged and kissed her cheeks, “We’re so proud of you!”
“I love you too! Just remember, It’s not Goodbye— it’s farewell!” She smiled as her parents tried and failed to stay more time, while Galinda softly dismissed them. “Yes I’ll write–Miss you already– Popsie board the boat!” As her parents waved effusively, she smiled to herself. “They’re gonna miss me so much!”
“My parents don’t even know that I left, heh!” Galinda jumped in place, twirling around with a small frown seeing a curly redhead standing in a curious way. “I’m Boq!” He twirled the croquet stick he was holding so it could support his weight— make him look cool. “I’m from Munchkinland. I know we don’t know each other yet–” He was quickly interrupted by Galinda, who was looking at him with a sweet façade covering her disinterest.
“Do you know what I think, Biq?”
“It-It’s Biq–It’s Boq” He mumbled.
“That strangers are just people I’ve never met.” She hummed as Boq looked at her in an awed trance. “Bye!” She said as she already was walking away, leaving Boq behind blushing and awed. Galinda walked by the sea of navy blue blurs in her pink and lavender uniform, having been able to overrule the system by her sheer richness, so she stood out even more than she usually did. As she walked smiling and greeting everyone she analyzed them, ‘some of them are warm’, she thought. ‘But they don’t glow like her.’ Her gaze drifted to the boats that left, always searching for someone who wasn’t there yet.
The choir of Shiz had started to sing their hymn ‘Dear Old Shiz’ to welcome the newer students and welcome back the old ones, and Galinda couldn’t help the smile, standing in front of the stairs where students were singing and quickly Phanne and ShenShen flocked to her side. Behind her more students gathered as the next boat arrived without any spectacle, docking by the others, and a pair of black boots walked down from it. Students turned and gasped in horror as they saw the person who had arrived, parting like the red sea and allowing her to pass muttering under their breaths “Green!”.
As the song came to its end, Galinda held her pose and sang in her light soprano voice, “Ooooh-Oooold” and as the students clapped for her, she smiled and bowed in false humility.
“Dear old Shiiz…” The chorus ended but the claps of the people stopped suddenly and shrieks could be heard, confused Galinda turned around and screamed.
“AH!!”
In front of her a young woman stood in all black, her hair was braided in a side braid, round glasses covered her dark eyes and freckled cheeks although what horrified everyone was that the girl had skin green like emeralds. As she became the focus of everyone’s attention she looked from one side to the other.
“What?” She asked, “What are you staring at?” Galinda with a hand in her chest looked at her and slowly approached. “Do I have something in my teeth?” The green woman asked
The woman in black looked at her hands and then at Galinda, “I am…!” She answered in mock surprise, already tired. Her false look of surprise quickly morphed into a smirk as Galinda just starred. “Fine, let’s get this over with” She started, turning around to look at the crowd of students that had gathered around her. “No, I’m not seasick.” As she walked around, the students took a step back, except Galinda who circled her movements.”No, I did not eat grass as a child.” Finally they stood on opposite sides, looking at the other as Elphaba finished. “ and yes, I’ve always been green.”
Still surprised, Galinda nodded her head with furrowed brows, “Well…I, for one, am so sorry that you have been forced to live with… this” as Galinda finished her speech the giggles and laughs of other students could be heard.
“That so?” Elphaba asked, her gaze not flickering from the blonde at all.
“Yes! And it is my intention to major in sorcery so if at some point you want to address the…um– problem–” The other students awed or held their hands to their heart, thinking of the pure sweetness of Galinda’s offering.
“Problem..” Elphaba repeated in a defeated tone.
“-Perhaps I could help” She smiled and the whole crowd broke in applauses and awes.
“She’s so good, SHE’S SOOO GOOD” Said Phanne as he and Shenshen clapped harder than anybody else.
“You’re SO good, we love you!!” Shenshen added as Galinda tossed her hair thrice as the students gasped in amazement, an impeccable smile on her pink lips, satisfaction exuding from all her pores.
“Offering to help somebody you don’t know, with the skills that you don’t have..” Elphaba’s gaze locked onto Galinda, seeing the flicker in her smiling armor. “I’m sure everyone is dully impressed”.
“I could care less what other people think” She defensively lied.
“Couldn’t” Elphaba corrected her.
“What?” Galinda asked in confusion.
“You couldn’t care less what other people think” She clarified, “though I- I doubt that.” Whispers and murmurs broke around the students as Galinda stood frozen where she stood, feeling the sting of humiliation in her heart. Suddenly yells interrupted her spiraling.
“ELPHABA!” As students broke the circle an old man angrily walked in pushing a girl in a wheelchair who looked absolutely mortified, “ELPHABA THROPP!”
Elphaba smiled as she pointed to the girl, “Ah, It’s my younger sister Nessarose, as you see, she’s a perfectly acceptable color” Elphaba explained to the frozen Galinda as she walked towards her father’s side, Galinda quickly made her way towards her friends, murmuring under her breath.
“Stop making a spectacle of yourself!” Her father, Governors Thropp argued between clenched teeth.
“ I was trying to be nice,” Galinda explained to her friends, who quickly soothed her.
“You were so nice!” Shenshen added.
“Was it something bad?” Galinda asked as Shenshen quickly added a ‘noo!’. “How did it come across?”
“I don’t see color, by the way!” Phanee added as he followed the girls inside.
Once alone, the governor turned towards his younger girl and smiled at her sweetly.“My precious little girl!”
“Father!!” Nessa said, between embarrassed and happy. An officer gave a pale green box to the Governor, who quickly held it out to his youngest.
“A parting gift!” Nessa picked it and settled the box in her lap while her hands opened the sides, displaying a beautiful set of silver shoes.
“Mother’s silver shoes!” Nessa said awed.
“So they all can see how beautiful you truly are” Her father added, caressing her cheek. “right down to your toes.”
“Thank you!!” Nessa’s tone came out taken by emotion; meanwhile Elphaba, who had been right there seeing the blatant favoritism, looked down at the ground saddened. “Thank you so much, I love them!”
“Let me put them with your boxes.” Her father said, picking the box back up and leaving the sisters alone.
“I shouldn't have spread out like that” Elphaba broke the silence as her sister approached her with a smile.
“No, you shouldn’t have” Nessa held her older sister’s hand and smiled at her. “Today is…”
“The start of your new life” Elphaba smiled. “New friends, new books…potentially Her” Elphaba smiled as she looked at the marvelous building with a downcasted expression “I’m excited for you”
“I’ll miss you.” Nessa replied, holding Elphaba’s hand tighter, making her look at her with a smile.
“No you won’t” She smiled “You’ll be having too good of a time.” Nessa giggled as the bell rang.
“ALL NEW SHIZ STUDENTS PLEASE REPORT BACK TO THE COURT”
As the governor of Munchkinland went to push his daughter’s chair both of them quickly jumped.
“Don’t help me.”
“Don’t help her.” As both sisters shared one last smile, Elphaba added “She’ll be fine:” The governor sighed and kissed the top of his youngest head before she took off with the other students. “We should head back.” Elphaba added but the governor’s gaze followed his daughter in a daze.
“Go with her”
“What?”
“Until she’s safely settled in her room, make sure she has everything she needs.”
“Father she’s on her own–”
“Just stop jabbering and do as I say!” He interrupted, angered. “If anything should happen to her…” Elphaba looked at her worried father then at her sister wheeling herself away with a group of people and she sighed before following after her. Just as she made it to the courtyard the speeches were finalizing with the presentation of the dean of sorcery studies.
Every student clapped and got up excitedly as Madam Morrible walked between them with a smile, making her way toward the podium, as Boq tried to look over the other students shoulders his gaze met Nessa’s who smiled at him back as he made a ‘can you believe this?’ face.
“OH MY GOODNESS IT’S REALLY HER–THAT MEANS…AAAAH!! ” Galinda screeched, hitting Shenshen’s arm in excitement.
“Welcome new students” Madam Morrible smiled, basking in the students' awe and admiration. “and congratulotions for having been accepted into Shiz. Whether you’ll be studying law, logic or linguification. I know I speak for my fellow faculty members when I say we have nothing but the highest hopes for… some of you” Nervous laughter broke around the students. “ Now, before Miss Coddle assigns the rooms. I know some of you have read on the news or even had the pleasure to meet Oz’s newest witch, who as you may know is learning and perfecting her sorcery under me. So, if everyone is so kind as to head back to the docks and give our special newest student, our gift from above. Give a warm welcome to… The Good Witch of Oz.”
The uproar between the students was immediate as they ran en masse towards the docks as horns blared from afar. Elphaba caught Nessa rolling her way towards the docks and followed her, Boq had been one of the few that took off immediately once ‘Good’ had been uttered and Galinda, had screeched and ran followed by Phanne and Shenshen. She quickly met with Boq there, as both pushed to be in the first row, he stopped and looked at her with red ears.
“Oh hi again! I didn’t know—”
The horns blared again, deeper, closer, echoing across the water and into the students' hearts. Galinda shoved Boq aside so hard he stumbled into another student and both almost fell into the water. “Move,” she snapped. “She 's here!.” Boq barely had time to register the sting before the docks erupted in cheer.
The water shimmered under the grand emerald boat, fishes followed the boats in a parade of glittering scales and graceful colors, golden accents in the green structure as a big ‘OZ’ was painted on its side, emerald and pale silver-blue banners unfurled as the music from the parade of boats thundered as they glided in formation, magic rippling across their wakes like living light.
The students screamed.
“The Good Witch!”
“OH MY OZ I LOVE YOU!!”
“She’s SO GOOD!!”
At the center of it all, standing far too small for all the spectacle, in the biggest main boat were you, with your green uniform, hair in a pretty hairstyle with white flowers stark against (h/c) hair, decorating it and giving you a heavenly aura, hands clasped tight in front of you like you might be torn apart if you didn’t hold yourself together.
“Oh no,” you murmured in panicked embarrassment once you saw the crowd gathered to greet you at the dock. “He didn’t.”
But indeed, the Wizard had.
Galinda surged forward, elbowing and pushing mercilessly. “I was here first,” she hissed, shoving a student dangerously close to the edge. “Careful—don’t make me choose violence!” Students scrambled, desperately, clawing for position.Photographers risked their cameras for the perfect picture of the Good Witch for tomorrow's issue of their magazine.
Nessarose leaned forward, breath shallow and starry eyed. “It 's her, She kept her promise…” While Elphaba stared, she couldn’t help but stare when you were around, she could feel more clearly how the air around you felt different, not loud like Galinda nor sharp with ambition like most of the students there. Your presence was anchoring for her and something in her chest loosened painfully
‘So that’s what goodness looks like’, she thought with a smile, her cheeks warm and flushed.
The parade finally ended as your boat docked, Chistery and his brothers made two lines so you could get down safely without being tackled, the emerald guards undocked your bags and truck as you stepped for the first time onto Shiz soil.
Galinda broke through first, pink stark against a crowd of navy blue, practically vibrating with excitement. “It’s you,” she breathed, eyes shining. “You look even prettier than before!”
You blinked, startled but you could recognize that energy anywhere so you smiled with unmistakable relief. “Galinda,” you said warmly. “You’re here!”
That was all it took for Galinda to surge forward, the recognition in your eyes, you remembered her, she mattered to you… Galinda grabbed your hands, squeezing them hard as Chistery and his apes showed her their fangs in a display of aggression. “I’m not letting you out of my sight,” she declared, ignoring them. “These crowds…They’ll eat you alive!! You’re too kind, too good!”
You laughed nervously, flinching slightly from how tight Galinda’s hold was on your hands. “I was hoping to just… attend classes??”
Galinda laughed loudly before she leaned in, voice low, fierce and thrilled. “Not a chance.”
From the side, on the border of falling into the water, Boq stared with a sinking heart. Nessa watched, lips pressed thin and eyebrows furrowed in quiet jealousy; meanwhile Elphaba felt her magic stir curious, protective but all wrong. Around them all, the magic in Shiz roared because the Good Witch had arrived, and every one of them, whether they knew it yet or not, had already decided that you would not belong to the Wizard anymore.
As the guards carried your luggage to your room, your monkey army accompanied you towards the courtyard, shielding you from eager hands and ambitious words, except the pink menace that had latched onto you much to Chistery’s chagrin. Dorm assignment day at Shiz was usually dramatic as Miss Coddle called out the assigned wings, lists unfurling and showing the arrangements. This year, it was war.
The Great Hall buzzed with anxious energy as names shimmered onto parchment, students craning their necks and already negotiating alliances. Galinda stood at the very front, posture immaculate, smile bright, already rehearsing disappointment she did not intend to feel when their late incorporation (aka you) ended rooming with her out of lack of more rooms.
All right, she told herself calmly. I can share. I am magnanimous. I am adaptable.
Her gaze flicked—found you standing slightly apart, hands clasped, looking overwhelmed by the sheer volume of attention you were receiving from the crowd around you albeit circled by the monkeys who kept anyone who dared to step too close away, the students asked questions or just plain gawked like you were about to perform a trick.
With her, Galinda amended instantly. I can share with her.
The parchment shifted as her brown eyes caught her own name.
‘GALINDA UPLAND — SUITE A, WEST TOWER.’
Cheers from Phanne and Shenshen which Galinda accepted graciously, turning just in time to see your name appear—
“(Y/N) GALE — EMERALD SUITE.”
The crowd fell into an unsettling silence that quickly morphed into chaos. Galinda’s smile froze, eyes burning through the parchment as if it would answer her deepest questions.
“Emerald… Suite?” Phanne repeated faintly.
“That’s not a student dorm...” Someone else added
“That’s—”
“Reserved.” All the eyes fell back to you, imposing and curious, you tried to look smaller but with a fixed look from Morrible, you fixed your posture to a more dignified one. The silence was suddenly interrupted by Galinda’s laughter.
Actual full belly, not practiced for hours on end, laugher.
“Oh!” she said brightly, clapping once and dabbing a tear away from her eye. “That’s adorable. Very ceremonial. Obviously temporary.” She turned to you, already moving closer enough to loop her arms through yours as Chistery glared menacingly. “Don’t worry, we’ll switch. I mean—who would want to live alone?”
You blinked, confused. “Alone?”
Miss Coodle cleared her throat. “This suite has been… prepared. Per instruction.” The words per instruction echoed too loudly in the silence as Galinda’s nails dug into your uniform jacket.
“Instruction from who?” she asked sweetly but with the confidence of someone who had never been denied anything.
Miss Coodle hesitated, but Galinda’s piercing brown gaze broke her weak confidence. “The Wizard.”
The courtyard tilted sideways for Galinda as the words echoed in her ears, a warm unpleasant feeling rose from her chest up to her head, clouding her brain and obscuring her eyesight. Seeing how their friend had become unreactive, Phanne and Shenshen quickly ran to her side, trying to calm her and bring her back from her dark place. As Galinda’s brown eyes focused she saw her friend's worried gaze, then yours– worried as well, eyebrows furrowed in worry and as she focused on you, you gifted her a heartmelting sweet smile. Galinda stepped closer to you again, voice low and urgent, worried.
“This is a mistake,” she said. “You shouldn’t be isolated. People will resent you.”
“I didn’t ask for this,” You replied quietly. “I thought I’d be with everyone else.” Galinda’s smile twitched at your innocence.
‘He’s keeping her under his watch’, she realized. ‘Even here… And she doesn’t even realize it yet.’
“Well,” Galinda said, looping her arm through your’s possessively, “We’ll just have endless sleepovers!!”
The Wizard’s influence pulsed invisibly through the room as Miss Coodle coughed again. “The Emerald Suite is… protected. Entry is restricted.”
Galinda’s grip tightened on your arm. “Restricted,” she repeated. “From me?”
“I’m afraid—”
Gently and sensing the argument brewing you disengaged from the blonde, cheeks flushed. “It’s all right, Galinda. I’ll visit. I promise.”
Galinda nodded, too quickly, too effusive.“Of course,” she said. “You’ll come to me.”
Her eyes flicked to the staircase leading upward, calculating distances, schedules, access points. ‘If I can’t live with her’, she thought, heart racing, ‘then I’ll make sure she never feels alone.’
“Galinda are you ok–” Phanne had started to ask but Galinda’s gaze caught movement from the rear of her eye. Madam Morrible walked away after whispering something in your ear, Galinda unwillingly left your side– although it was for the greater good, attending the sorcery seminar with you!
Across the hall, Nessa clutched her assignment parchment, face pale when she felt the comforting presence of her older sister.
“Elphaba,” she whispered, heartbroken, “they put her in one of the main towers, above the water.”
Elphaba frowned as her hands rested on her sister’s shoulders. “That’s… deliberate.” She felt it then, the same pressure she’d felt upon your arrival. Like a hand closing around a thread, forebonding.
Boq stared at the Emerald Suite listing, his stomach sinking to his feet. ‘She’s too far’, he thought. ‘I won’t even pass her door…’
As the guards finished dropping your bags, they said goodbye to you, so you went to see your guards off and bid them farewell. Each ape of your monkey army came to hug you goodbye as you called them by their name, the last to say goodbye was Chistery, who looked at you with yellow eyes full of concern and worry. You kneeled in front of him and hugged him close, his arms hugged you back tight to his armored chest.
“I promise I’ll be okay, Chistery” You mumbled into his ear. “ I’ll write, promise and I’ll be safe!”
Chistery closed his eyes and purred, the sound rumbling and anchoring. “If you need… assistance. Tell… me.” Chistery’s voice rough with disuse made you smile, as far as you had been in Oz, Chistery had only spoken to you, and truly that made you feel special.
“I promise I will.” You smiled, tears gathering in your lashes as one of Chistery’s fingers softly wiped them away. “We’ll see each other soon, I promise.”
“I… Know” Chistery smiled sadly as he gave you a final tight hug. “I’ll… miss you.”
“I’ll miss you too, Chistery.” You smiled as the ape separated from the hug and joined his brothers, who had been watching the interaction, giving orders once the ramp was lifted. You stayed in the dock, seeing the boats disappear. Chistery stood watching your figure become smaller and the worry in his heart grew, he had seen the hunger on those students, their greed. He just wished you’d won’t be fooled by the system, and as you waved at him, he waved back with a small smile. He was sure you wouldn’t fall for the trap of power, and would soon see through the lies you had been fed.
Once the boats were so far they were just a dot into the horizon, you joined everyone else in the courtyard, students were being attended and given the keys to their room, as you looked around you saw Boq dragging his trunk and you waved at him with a bright smile, which made the redheaded boy blush bright red to his ears and he dropped his trunk onto his foot, making you wince from the sheer jump the poor guy made. Mouthing a silent ‘ sorry!’Boq simply waved his pain away and smiled back at you, mouthing back a ‘see you later!’ as he grabbed his trunk again and kept the route to his room.Everything seemed orderly, you thought as an attendant gave you a green and gold keychain with a gold key, giving the attendant a thankful smile your gaze swept the sea of students and you found Nessa with Elphaba by her side. As you were about to approach them the order in the yard shattered the moment Miss Coddle tried to move Nessa against her wishes and complains, dismissing her autonomy. Nessa’s wheeled chair, that had been perfectly still moments before, jerked sharply to the side as if yanked by an invisible hand and a collective gasp tore through the students gathered around. “Nessa—! Let her go!” Elphaba’s voice cracked, her hand outstretched without her meaning to. Her breath came too fast and her heart was hammering with something hot and violent and old—something she had spent her entire life being told to bury.
Suddenly the chair fled, as did all the student’s books and benches. Not smoothly, it scraped against the stone floor, shrieked, then rose several inches into the air. Nessa clutched the armrests, eyes wide, torn between fear and surprise..
“Elphaba!” Nessa begged. “Stop this at once!”
Elphaba tried, she truly did. But her panic fed the magic, and the magic fed her panic. The chair spun slowly at first towards Elphaba’s side before slamming back down, landing perfectly upright, aligned, steady with Elphaba’s hands in the handles.
Silence fell like a dropped curtain.
Madame Morrible, looking from above, smiled wide, turning around she walked down the steps and suddenly laughed with unmistakable delight.
Both Thropp sisters stared at the scared students, trembling, Elphaba’s gaze looked for you, who weren’t looking at her in fright or disgust, but rather you were looking at the boulder that fell, revealing a mosaic of animals in togas. Then your (e/c) eyes locked onto hers, surprising Elphaba, you smiled at her– positively beamed at her, impressed by her power and Elphaba had never felt so warm and fuzzy inside.
“This was my chance” Nessa wheeled herself to Elphaba’s side, interrupting her thoughts and breaking her eye contact with you, and as she looked at her upset sister all the glee she had felt from your visible approval went down the drain. “my new start”
“I’m sorry Nessa, I–” Unwilling to hear more, Nessa turned her chair around and left a deflated Elphaba behind. All eyes turned from Elphaba as she stood frozen, skin green as ever but now faintly pale, breath shallow, eyes shining with horror at what she had done. She hadn’t meant to show them, she hadn’t meant to show anyone.
“ Magic is merely the mind's attempt to wrap itself around the impossible.” Madam Morrible waltzed on the courtyard, claiming all the student body's attention. “Yes, That was me!” Sounds of awe and surprise broke all around “To prepare you to expect the unexpected here at Shiz.” People started clapping as Morrible made her way towards her, slyly.
“Did you visually see that??” Galinda asked her friends, then looked at you, just in time to see how you smiled impressed at Elphaba, a sting of envy pierced her heart. “I simply must get into her seminar!” She mumbled before walking around upturned benches to get to Madam Morrible.
“And speaking of the unexpected” she said, gliding towards the frozen Elphaba. “Now. She will require accommodations. Which of you would volunteer to share a room with–” As Galinda climbed and tripped over the obstacles in her way she finally made it to her destination as Madam Morrible asked, the blonde still flushed from the earlier chaos, still riding the high of your arrival, felt her pulse spike:
A volunteer to share a room.
Her mind filled in the blanks instinctively, catastrophically towards your presence in the edge of the crowd.
Of course it was for (y/n) Gale, The Good Witch of Oz.
The Wizard wouldn’t leave you alone, Galinda argued. He was always arranging things when it came to you, always deciding what was “best” for you. And now…now he was trying to place her with someone else without even asking Galinda—
No. Absolutely not.
Galinda’s hand shot into the air so fast she nearly knocked over the last bench she had jumped.
“I will!” she said brightly, stepping forward before Morrible could finish her sentence.“I mean—obviously. I have plenty of space, and I’m very generous, and I think it’s important to support—” Galinda stopped in her tracks because Morrible was looking at her… strangely.
“…Support whom, exactly?” Morrible asked with a raised eyebrow.
Galinda blinked. “Well, Her.” She gestured vaguely in your direction, already imagining you in her suite, brushing her hair in your shared mirror, braiding your hair, confiding in her, choosing her over everyone else.
Morrible followed the gesture…To Elphaba.
There was a beat, then another and the realization hit Galinda like a slap in the face.
“Oh,” she said, softly. “Oh.”
Behind her, laughter rippled; cruel, relieved, eager students whispering among themselves as Elphaba’s shoulders tensed in defense.
Morrible’s smile sharpened. “How… magnanimous of you, Miss Upland.”
Galinda’s face burned. She never volunteered for things like this. Not without benefit, not without total control of the situation. But she had thought— She had thought it was for you, and that alone told her something deeply, terrifyingly important about herself she still wasn't ready to accept. “Madame Morrible– um”.
“Thank you, dear” Morrible smiled at Galinda, who looked at the older woman confused. “That it’s truly very good of you.” Her eyes turned towards the black haired woman. “ Miss...?”
“Elphaba,” she answered with a small smile.
Morrible repeated her name out loud as she looked appreciatively at Elphaba’s potential. “ You can room with Miss Galinda”
“What–I– What?”
Galinda let out a few moans of despair but Morrible would not hear any of it. “Now go. All of you, go!” Elphaba’s stomach dropped, this was the thing she had secretly wanted her entire life, acceptance, control over her magic but suddenly it felt like a trap snapping shut behind her.
Across campus in the suite prepared with (f/c) silk drapes and fresh flowers, you stood at the window, watching the sun dip in the horizon, the oranges and pinks reflecting beautifully in the water below. You had begun to feel it again, that strange tightening in the air, like threads were being pulled and quietly rearranging themselves around— trapping you. Pressing a hand to your chest to calm your anxiety, feeling uneasy and unaware that in another hall entirely, obsessions were simmering.
Galinda did not cry, crying was messy, crying left marks. Instead, she closed the doors of her suite, dismissed her friends with a laugh too bright to question and stood very still in the center of the room while the silence settled around her like a prison sentence. The suite was beautiful, pale pink silks, fresh flowers, mirrors placed at just the right angles and furniture set perfectly all around.
Mirrors.
The blonde approached one slowly, as always the girl looking back at her was flawless. Golden hair pinned just so, pink lips curved into a smile that had carried her through a thousand situations and bent rooms to her will. “Idiot,” Galinda whispered.
Her reflection didn’t flinch. She replayed it again, that moment. The hand in the air,the certainty in her chest.
I will. Not 'may I'. Not 'perhaps'.
I will.
Her fingers curled against the edge of her vanity. She had wanted you in her rooms so bad, not as a guest nor as a courtesy but as something hers. The thoughts bloomed again, uninvited and unshakeable: you brushing your hair at Galinda’s mirror, you laughing at her jokes, you begging her to share a bed after a bad dream, always choosing Galinda first, every time.
Galinda’s breath hitched as she realized, when had that happened? This morning, she’d told herself she admired the Good Witch. Everyone did, it was natural for everyone in Oz. You were radiant, gracious, kind, good and chosen by the Wizard himself. But admiration doesn’t make your pulse jump when your name is spoken, Galinda realized, admiration didn’t make you shove students into the water to stand closer, to be seen first. Admiration didn’t make you humiliate yourself in front of Madame Morrible and the whole study body of Shiz because the idea of someone else having you felt— Unacceptable.
Galinda sat down hard on the edge of the bed as she pressed her hands together, nails biting into her palms. “She’s not yours,” her reflection in one of her many mirrors said, the words felt thin and cutting like glass.“She doesn’t even know you.”
That was the worst realization she had had, because Galinda always knew how to make people know her. It was a skill crafted to perfection, a certainty by now. And yet you had arrived wrapped in parades and the Wizard’s gaze, already placed beyond Galinda’s reach — in your own suite, in your own orbit.
Chosen.
Galinda laughed softly, a brittle sad sound. Of course the Wizard would do that, if she were he, she’d do the same. Of course he would make her untouchable. A dangerous thought crept in then, unwelcomed and sharp: ‘What if she leaves?’ Not Shiz– but Oz.
What if when you finished whatever role you were meant to play, you simply… went somewhere Galinda could not follow? The blonde’s lips trembled violently. No, no, she would not be left behind. She had never been left behind.
She rose, smoothing her dress, reclaiming her posture inch by inch. If you could not be brought into her space, then Galinda would insert herself into yours. Become the most useful, be dazzling, be indispensable. Be the one you turned to when the Wizard’s shadow felt too heavy, be the voice that soothed, the presence that stayed, the support you needed.
Galinda looked at her reflection again, really looked. Her eyes were too bright, too hungry with intent even after being reddened and wet by tears. “…I just want to be close,” she told the girl in the mirror, as if offering a reasonable explanation but the reflection just smiled back that didn’t truly reach her eyes. Somewhere deep inside, beneath the silk, money and charisma, something ugly and possessive coiled tighter, already rehearsing ways to make sure that if you were to choose anyone at Shiz…You would choose Galinda.
The suite door flew open with a sharp, inevitable motion as Elphaba stepped inside, cloak damp from the journey, eyes alert and already braced for rejection. Galinda, mid-spin in front of her mirror, froze. The room seemed to recoil and for a heartbeat neither of them spoke. Galinda turned slowly, taking in the green skin, the severe posture, the utter lack of apology for existing.
“Oh,” she said, blinking once. “You’re… here.”
Elphaba lifted her chin. “Apparently.”
Galinda’s smile snapped into place, polite, radiant and fake. “How wonderful. I didn’t realize Madame Morrible meant this kind of arrangement.”
Elphaba glanced around the suite, the silks, the mirrors, the endless clothes and trunks. The space was cluttered in a way that screamed ownership. “So this is where I’m staying,” she said flatly. “Good to know. Where am I supposed to put my things?”
Galinda laughed, sharp and musical. “Staying is such an optimistic word… But I saved you some space!” She guided Elphaba to the far corner, behind tall trunks and rows of dresses, to a modest mattress with a small note. “Enjoy!”
Elphaba glared at Galinda, and although they knew nothing about the other, from the first second it was war. Everything Elphaba did irritated Galinda on principle, the way she set her bag down without asking, the way she surveyed the room as if it were neutral territory instead of a shrine to Galinda’s existence, how she moved her things without asking—
And everything Galinda did felt calculated to Elphaba, every smile felt too precise, every movement too rehearsed and designed to be watched, all too artificial, too sugary sweet. They circled each other verbally, trading barbs disguised as manners. As Galinda criticized Elphaba’s clothing, Elphaba pointed out Galinda’s voice and each comment landed like a spark between them. Galinda fluffed pillows with unnecessary aggression while Elphaba reorganized books that were not even hers. The tension escalated until it became almost theatrical, exaggerated petty reactions, dramatic sighs, muttered complaints delivered just loudly enough to be heard.
The simultaneous realization struck true. ‘I cannot stand her.’ It wasn’t simple dislike, but something more visceral, immediate and absolute.
Galinda felt it lodge in her chest like an offense against nature. This green girl disrupted the order of things, she didn’t want to be admired, didn’t even perform gratitude. She simply… existed and somehow the world bent around her the way Galinda wanted it to bend around her.
Meanwhile Elphaba felt it like an itch under her skin. The blonde represented everything shallow and performative about Oz. She smiled instead of listening, floated around what benefited her instead of standing up for anything.
They spoke over each other now, voices rising, complaints piling up, each trying to outdo the other. Galinda gestured wildly while Elphaba snapped back without hesitation, their words overlapped, colliding, mirroring themselves clearly. Just two opposite forces discovering with horrified clarity that they were trapped together.
Galinda threw her hands up. “This is unbearable.”
Elphaba nodded. “At least we agree on something.” Silence followed her statement as Galinda turned away with a huff, climbing dramatically onto her bed as if claiming high ground while Elphaba crossed her arms, jaw tight and rolling her eyes at the childish behaviour.
Galinda laid back, staring at the ceiling, heart racing. ‘I hate her’, she told herself fiercely. ‘I hate her, I hate her, IhateherIhateherIhateherIhateher’
Elphaba sat rigid in her chair, pulse pounding. ‘I will not let her define me or ruin this opportunity for me’.
That night, once everyone had settled into their rooms, quietness had settled like a blanket over Shiz. Galinda sat on her perfectly arranged bed, surrounded by the dozens of pink trunks cluttering the room, staring at the small lighted space in the corner, where Elphaba was reading. Galinda imagined you there—laughing, allowing her to brush your hair, talking to her and the image hurt her deeply. “He doesn’t get to decide this,” Galinda whispered to herself, turning over in her bed so the light wouldn’t bother her eyes. “He doesn’t understand her like I do, nor can get to know her like I can.” She stood abruptly sitting on her bed and smoothing her hair.
“If she has a room all to herself,” she concluded softly, “then someone has to make sure she doesn’t get lonely.” Galinda smiled like the Cheshire cat as she let herself fall into her plump pillows again, hugging one close to her chest as she started to scheme a way to get to you. Elphaba looked above her book towards the blonde girl giggling towards herself and kicking her legs with a raised eyebrow.
Far above, in a suite that gleamed too brightly, under silk covers you twisted and turned, unable to sleep in the unknown bed. The room felt too big and unknown, you felt nervous and tired but unable to fall asleep.Since arriving at Shiz, you had felt unmistakably watched.
Meanwhile in the Emerald City, the Wizard slept better than he had in weeks.

BUT if its not your cup of tea, its okay! uwu <3
Hii @imlovewithpixels .˖✶
Yessss🙈🙈🙈🙈❤️🔥❤️🔥
It is my cup of tea, I have read many abo fics in my years in tumblr & AO3...🙈🤭
So send me what your bright devilish mind has come up with ;) I can do some headcanons about that au ;)))
Imagine both alpha Glinda & Elphie set in the same room and poor little omega you have to deal with them competing over you/wooing.
Hiii! Oh my goodness, I love your wizard of Oz fic so I wanted to draw y/n (I always do this with other authors on what I assume Y/n looks like based on her character and personality ^_^) and here's her when she first arrive Emerald City!
I wanted to make her look almost innocent and 'good' in the way her appearance is based on, making people assume that she's a 'good' witch :3
Hi @honey-beeuwu !!! SHE LOOKS SOOOO CUTE!!! OMG!!!!
No wonder the Wizard took one look at her and said "dibs"!!
Your art is soo cute!! She looks super sweet and little bit confused, just like I imagine she'd be after landing in the Emerald city!!!
I'm sooo happy you like my fics!!!! I'm really happy they bring such joy! I have many more fics planed for both Wicked & The wonderful wizard of Oz, so stay tuned ;>
Btw, the next chapter drops later today, stay tuned~♡
I finishhhh, the letter were the most dificult part, the tittle is so long that its not catchy and like the last time, another headcanon.
Designer, aka you : mr. Oz the póster is over *show the desing with “the good witch” as tittle
Oscar: …..add my name too
Designer: …..what?! But sir, thats…. Itll be too long and not catchy at all
Oscar: the called the musical, the couple of Oz.
Desingner : ….. no thanks
And thats how this tittle ended up
Good night, i did my best trying procreate, its still so much for me and i think that i could come out better in clip studio but, well, i still need to get use to the ipad for drawing so, it was fun anyway, i wanted to make it as simple as possible sposible but ended uo doing a look of textures cause i just like it, its satisfactory for me
OH MY OZ @imlovewithpixels THESE ARE AMAZINGG!!!!!!
IT'S OSCAR'S DREAMS COME TRUE!! ⸜(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡₊˚⊹♡
Oscar: Oh it's too long? Oh okay okay... *rubs his beard in faux thinking* Oh, I got it! Let's call it 'The Wonderful couple of Oz' !!
Designer, side eyeing him, highly judging: .....No.
It's absolutely amazing!!! I got no words, it's so gorgeous!!! ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و ♡
The textures are cheff kiss♡♡♡ and the Wizard and Our Good witch look sooo good!! The rendering is so well done!! I love it!! ♡♡♡♡ The lettering is very well done too!! They look like the real poster's!!
Small blurb:
' "The posters are ready" Morrible said, entering Oscar's study dropping the stack of posters in his table. "Care to explain why the designer couldn't look me in the eye as she gave them to me?"
"Oh! It was nothing serious!" Oscar said, dropping his quill on the ink and grabbing one poster, holding it close with a big smile on his lips. " It looks perfect! Wish we had called it 'The Wonderful couple of Oz'..." He mumbled whistfully, tracing the drawing of The Good Witch.
"Call it the what?!" Morrible repeated, looking at him with a judging glare. "So that's why the designer couldn't look me in the eye?! Oscar do you grasp the concept of shame??!
"Oh hush! It's for the best of Oz-"
"For your ego, you mean." Morrible corrected, crossing her arms.
The Wizard dramatically rolled his eyes as he saved on of the posters on his desk to later frame it in his room. "Anyways, I want to oversee the casting, and have final word on the decision." He got up from his seat, dusting off his velvet green pants. "I want the cast of me and (y/n) to be perfect! They need to make a cute couple- I mean, have real chemistry." Oscar said, playing with his moustache and at the glare sent by Morrible he smiled and held his hands up in surrender "Friendly of course! Not like, the actors get married like the parts they're playing!!" 'Though that would be a good story for the media for when (Y/n) and I announce our marriage, too' Oscar though to himself with a satisfied smirk.
"Of course you do" Morrible mumbled under her breath, rubbing her temples, so exasperated by Oscar's... everything, at this point.'
I am still also getting used to drawing in the ipad, I'm so used to traditional... Never used Clip Studio paint tho, is it good?? I've heard really good things about it!! But your art is so so so good istg!!
Guys I need your opinion!! I got Chap. 3 of "The Good Witch " almost finished, so my question is: Would you prefer the chapter go up during the week or do you prefer that I wait until the weekend?
Hi, i came with a little wip cause i dowload some brushes a got inspired , also fro some help about the color scheme cause i wantes as close as posible as the original postel so…. Got this two versions?
The version oscar wanted xD
The realistic version XD
Oscar be like, Why is my hair white , im not that old ! And the designer (osea yo ) would tell him that its for the color scheme 🥹
I like more the second one but maybe i need seconds opinions while i do the lineart uwu 💕🤭 also cuase 8 tough it was funny, this is my firts and maybe only oscar fanart cause drawing him its hard TT y basically just traced a photo of him but shhhhh
HOLY PEAK @imlovewithpixels !!!!
That's exactly what the wizard would want!!! (Probably casts a much younger & handsome actor to play him bc fragile ego) & definetly he would be a nightmare to the musical productors & designers. Like they see him enter the theatre and they're like "oh no, not this guy a g a i n"
He's yelling order, changing lined, plots, costumes... ("what do you mean give him white hair? DO I LOOK THAT OLD TO YOU?!?!) and the designer ( aka tú) looks him up and down and just nods and he goes to cry in a corner for a bit.
DEFINITELY LOOVE LOOVE LOOVE BOTH OF THEM!!! But I gotta agree with you, I think the second one has a more balanced palette!! And as always your art is fantastic!!!!! You don’t know how happy you just made me!♡♡♡♡♡
And yeaaah, jeff goldblum be kinda hard to draw ngl... and with the spiraly hair he has in the movie... I had to have a ref on my phone so i could draw him 😅😅😅 For being your first time drawing him, he looks suuper good!!! And our Good Witch looks spectacular as always♥︎♥︎
Anywaysss THIS IS FANTASTICCC!!!! I LOVE IT SM!!! YOUR ART IS AMAZING!!
(Btw, just finished writing the "What is this feeling" scene for next chapter and 🤭🤭🤭 Galinda is just unghiged atp and Elphie is omg she remembers me?!)
I write for both Wicked & The wonderful wizard of Oz media (og novels, movies, comics...)
Currently I have a Yandere! Wicked fic series called 'The good witch of Oz', that you can find here!

Following this post: https://www.tumblr.com/magnificentmaleficent/805632220382527488/a-continuation-of?source=share
I drew the cover
OH MY GOD @anima-nerd !!! THIS IS AMAZING!!!
THEY LOOK SOOO GOOD TOGETHERR!!! FIYERO IS SOOO ENJOYING THAT REUNION HUG!! ALSO HE LOOKS SOOO FINE!!! OH MY GOSHH
ALSO THE LAYOUT??? IT LOOKS AMAZING HOLY MOLY!!!
You bet that the photo of these two is flying trough Oz as the magazines pick the news up, theories of them being secret lovers start going through Oz, people actively ship you two, envy Fiyero or both. Fiyero LOVES that Oz is loving the two of you together, it makes him feel reasured in his choice of wanting to pursue you, that the people of Oz believe him worthy of you. Also his parents when they read the news are like Oh??? Our son?? has a girlfriend?!!! LET'S INVITE HER OVER!!
Now we know why the Wizard had his 8 am existential crisis half an hour early than normal... They couldn't look happier and he's young, and fit, and charming...
Live Wizard reaction:
This is regarding this post!
All of this is regarding this fanfic!
As I've said in the post before this, lately I've been feeling depressed but your art and comments and messages have lifted my spirit and made me smile. THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!!!!❤︎❤︎❤︎❤︎ Y'ALL ARE SOOO GOOD TO ME!! 。°(°.◜ᯅ◝°)°。
I'm soo happy all of you are liking my writing!! Every one of you makes me work harder of the next chapter!!!
FINALLY FINISH THIS STUDY, IM NOT DRAWING THEM IN A SERIOUS ARTSTYLE NEVER AGAIN, i kinda did nessa and fiyero dirty, im so sorry
I love the fangirl follower Glinda headcanon so much, i kinda see her already having a dress from reader in her except measurements…..nobody know how she get them, but she have them
Elphie can never beat the yearning allegations, my baby deserve better, so much better TT, she probably always have an eye on reader while trying to pass as cool, like shes not melting inside, i just see her acting like Y/T….im not interested in reader, im just here in he parade reading my book, minding my own business xD
I truly believe nessa hates to be helped, But, kinda like to think she play the helpless card just to get reader attention. Reader, can you pass me the high book, reader can you push my chair today. Reader can you carrie thse for me? , but if someone else tries to, they gain the worse murder glare of oz
Fiyero felt in my good side on the second movie, i just love his evolution, i definitly see him getting frustrated cof cof jealous, if he does not have reader unique attention wich is….never, everyone just tries to get them. So he for sure tries to make them skip classes to to hang out. Elphaba hates his guts for that, think hes making reader grades go down. Or he tries to flirt and be like, Reader, wanna study the two of us, alone in my room?….and reader actually make him study, bring snacks and everything, does not let him go till they finish the homework.
Boq has a little altar of Reader things with the handkerchief, a bottle of water, a ponitail band, her pencil….a hair. Yeah, he’s not beating the stalker yandere allegations from my mind .
SORRY OSCAR, HAVE NO TIME TO THINK OF YOU, but im gonna add that hes begging madame morrime to study and try to make a spell on his so he could look younger for reader or go back to his good years….and when elphaba go, he insist in that for “the longevity of the ozians” but grimery have other plans.
I run out of hc for now, have a good day <33
HOLY MOLY @imlovewithpixels !!!! THEY LOOK SO SO GORGEOUS!!!
I LOVE THEM ALL!!!! LOOK THESE CUTIESSS!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVEEE THISS!! THEY ALL LOOK SOOO GOOD AND YOU CAN SEE THEIR PERSONALITY IN THE WAY YOU DRAW THEM!!! The smol doodles next to them?!! The hearts in the Yandere's eyes?! THE BEE MOVIE REFERENCE?! Nessa looks gorgeous whatcha talking about!! and Fiyero looks soo devilish it's soo on character of him tbh! As always your Good Witch looks soo adorable and cute oml!! the doodle of her sleeping is so cute too...I love your art sooo muchhhh! It's amazinggg!!!!
For the headcanons... Glinda is the ultimate fangirl, your nº1 Fan!! she HAS dresses that match yours or matching dresses for the two of you. Literally will beg to dress you up for the Ozdust ballroom- most probably its a match to hers. All of this with your exact messurements, she prob got them either by snooping around your room ( she LOVES hanging out there, she feels at home) or via hugging you and making mental calculations like "My arms measure X and when I hug her they reach here and seeing her bust - blushes- Oh my..."
Elphie is the biggest yearner I fear, she carries it deep in her heart and although at first she's in denial, she quickly admits her feelings to herself (doesn't mean she'll feel brave enough to make a move). BUT YOU'RE SOO RIGHT!! She tries to look super nonchalant around you, reading her books or doing homework but she's looking at you over her book. I can't unsee the image of Elphie on the welcoming parade looking at you as she fake-reads and when you two make eye contact she's like that Debbie Ryan meme... She's internally daydreaming scenarios where you notice her and jump down to meet her, with music sounding in the background and you hug and kiss-
Nessa ABSOLUTELY HATES the pitying gaces or the unwanted help, she hates that people try to push her chair or how they look down at her both literally and metaphorically. That's why when you always ask if she wants help with the chair or how you always look at her eyes and smile with kindness and even encourage her independence... When she fully develops her yandere tendencies she does use the helpless card and feels as if she's doing right because being in that chair has always brought her sadness so for one good thing she can have because of it... You bet she's gonna take the chance. She also probably praises you when you do what she asks of you because she L O V E S how your cheeks flush with the complements.
Fiyero definitely wasn't expecting this, actually studying for a mid-term. It's definitely this kind of reward sistem you've come up for him. One hour of studying? He gets to hold your hand while he studies. He aswers questions correctly? You hug and praise him for being a good boy. And if he gets a good mark on that tests?? OOOhh that kiss on the cheek feels like heaven for the Tigelaar prince. Tho he still tries to get you to skip or distracts you in class and gets the teachers to scold you and Elphie hates his guts because of that and because he can so openly claim your affection in public, she also thinks he could be a bad influence or that he could tire you out with helping him afterhours and that your health could suffer. Fiyero is getting several books at his head if he dares to ask you to 'study' alone in his room. Always flirting, each line is worse than the other but your laugh makes it worth it. Also he probably would have loved the Bee Movie
Boq IS STALKERISH as a yandere. Glinda is also kinda stalkerish which makes them alike but while Glinda knows how to hide her darker side, poor Boq wears his heart on his sleeve. He has a scrapbook of photos of you, of clipped newspapers of you, he even tries to draw you sometimes. As I've said before he does have an altar of you and in the future steals your statue from Munchkinland main square, like Glinda he would buy ALL THE MERCH about Our Good Witch but sadly, unlike Glinda he doesn't have all that money so he instead makes himself merch about you, like a rag doll with old clothes of his, you really awake his artistic skills truly. He cannot sleep if he doesn't have his little Good witch ragdoll with him.
Y'all got the Wizard sooo clocked, he definitely is buying the expensive skincare treatments to look younger, begging Morrible for a youth spell, putting make up between extistencial crisises. You CANNOT see him without he being all groomed and dressed and looking fresh. Tho if you see the ages on his skin and kiss them he WILL BE BAWLING HIS EYES OFF.
All of this is regarding this fanfic!
Recently I've been feeling kinda depressed but your art and your headcanons as well as others good witches of mine's art and comments have lift my spirits so much!!!❤︎❤︎❤︎❤︎❤︎❤︎
The wizard is back in the emerald city eating breakfast and reading all the letters sent by you about your time at shiz (and the letters that Madam morrable sends him, acting as a spy, bacause he was too insecure to let you go without conditions)
When he picks up a newspaper only to spit out his coffee when he sees that the cover, "Oz's Good Witch welcomes winkie Prince fiyero to shiz" and the cover being you and fiyero in a very romantic sort of framing.
This man has an existential crisis, and it's only 8:00 am
Hi @anima-nerd ♥︎
OH MY GOD THAT'S SO SO GOOD!!! YOUR GALAXY BRAIN OMGGGG!!!! HES'S DEFINITELY HAVING THEM CRISISES EVERY HOUR!!
That's sooo good and canon I had to draw it...
Poor Chistery, they don’t pay you enough for this—
Tried to draw our Good Witch & Fiyero's romantic reunion but I didn’t find a good pose for them ;0;
Oscar day is 50% eveasdropping/ spying & having heart attacks (one for each time he hears, reads or remembers you) and 50% having an existencial crisis.
Oscar is literally that Ken meme from Barbie:
'(Y/n), The Good Witch of Oz has a good day everyday, but Oscar, The Wizard of Oz only has a good day if (Y/n) looks at him.'
He's just Ken!!!! (But a more tyranical dictator version of Ken)
This is amazing and it's definitely making it to chapter 3!!
I GOT SOME SONGS IDEAS!
For GLINDA I can only think of "Never getting rid of me" but i could not find a female singer version that match Glinda's voice so
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bCCAZ2Ly98 this one in 1.5
I will never let you let me leave
I promise I'm not lying
Go ahead ask anybody who has seen me trying
I'm not going, if it seems like I did
I'm probably waiting outside
Also MAYBE, JUST MAYBE LITTLE MISS PERFECT where she's like.....do i like woman??? me???? i was supose to marry a prince
A pretty girl walks by my locker
My heart gives a flutter, but I don't dare utter a word
'Cause that would be absurd behaviour for Little Miss Perfect
No, I can't risk falling off my throne
Love is something I don't even know
Straight hair, straight A's
Straightforward, straight girl
Little Miss Perfect, that's me
And lowkey Red mean I love you, but i think that song its kinda gory. i got the obsessive behavior ok, but i dont think Glinda would ever have so gory toughs, so I'll just leave that as a bonus
ELPHBABA Is so SHE by Dodie coded. so much that it hurts me
Am I allowed to look at her like that?
Could it be wrong when she's just so nice to look at?
(THE FIRT LINE BTW)
I HEAR A SYMPHONY by Cody Fry too, i kinda love this song, is so hopessly romantic. i kinda see all thye yanderes here, but Elphaba deserve it more.
I used to hear a simple song
That was until you came along
You took my broken melody
And now, I hear a symphony
I was just focusted in the girl, but OU LOVE IS GOD only the firts part, gives me Oscar vibes trying to manipulate Reader. also kinda Meant to be yours (the soft part)
YOU'LL BE BACK its also Oscar being convinced Reader well come back to his arms
STALKER TANGO is for Boq if its sag in a more desesperate needy way XD
IN A CROWD OF THOUSANDS also kinda go for everyone but I'm gonna give it to Fiyero cause that's how it sounds in my head. Let's just ignore the context that he was a kid
SORRY NESSA, I CANT THINK OF ANY FOR YOU.
"We both reach for the gun" edit were Everyone try to reach Reader hands when she's send back home muajajajaja.
That's it, googbay, Im gonna listen to Hadestown again
Hii @imlovewithpixels !!!!
ALL THOSE ARE SOOO GOOD OMG!!!
specially Glinda & Elphie's!!! These are so SO ACCURATE!!!!
I gotta update the song's post with these amazing additions!!
Y'know what song I think fits Elphaba, Glinda & Nessa??? "Jenny" by Studio Killers
This song is soooo them singing it to our Good Witch (perhaps more desperately, more needy, depends on when they sing it) but it fits SO SO WELL!
I imagine the group studiying in the picnics scenes like in Wicked For Good, you studiying super oblivious and them sneaking glances your way as they sing...
I wanna ruin our friendship
We should be lovers instead
I don't know how to say this
'Cause you're really my dearest friend
Also yesss, Oscar is sooo convinced you're meant to be his!! All the songs that come to mind for him are kinda delulu but possessive while the king of delulu songs would go to Boq (that become a little more unhingued when he's the Tin man).
NVM IM GONNA GO ADD MORE SONGS !! Sooo tempted to make a playlist for each character at this point!! ♡♡♡♡♡
Hiii, So I just thought of the cutest headcanon where Fiyero purposely gets kicked out of his previous college so that he can get sent to shiz to be with the Good Witch.
OH MY GOSH @anima-nerd I THOUGHT THE SAMEEE!!
THAT'S SUPER CANON IN THE STORY!
I mean, Fiyero is definitely following Our Good Witch's travels ( his parents are so surprised their son is actually following with Oz's news AND READING!!!) and once he reads she’s going to go to Shiz, he's like "hmm... I can wait for her to come to me orr... I CAN GO TO HER!!!" so he purposefully gets kicked out and blacklisted from ALL of Oz's schools just to see our Good Witch again. Which makes him so stupidly smug when the news pick on his incorporation into Shiz's because... You're going to be waiting for him for sure!!! He must make the most memorable impression ever!
I think Fiyero probs comes across Elphie & you on the forest, which makes his surprise expectacular big grand entrance not a surprise but he'll take seeing you again over all the pomp & party he planned.
Cue his "dancing thru life" being more of him showing off to you while enchanting all the competiton (Shiz) except for the only one who can see thru his plan (Elphie). The song ends in a battle of who gets to ask you to Ozdust (Glinda desesperately WANT TO but her supossed happy ending is with a Prince not with a girl..., Boq is trying to gather the courage to asks, Nessa also wants to go with you (and Glinda sees these two's intentions so she plays Boq into asking Nessa to kill two birds of competition for your attention with one stone) while Elphaba doesn’t think you'd like to go with a 'freak' like her plus she doesn't wanna break the rules and she believes you wouldn’t either (bc ur perfect♥︎)
Some songs that I think fit Our Good Witch relationship with the yanderes after she's sent back to Kansas...
In between Fiyero's struggle to rise above the expectations and become the captain of the Gale force so he can snoop closer in the Wizards bussiness and hopefully find you and this deep rooted desire to find you stay with him as the Scarecrow.
Wait for me — Hadestown [▶]
Fiyero is literally irish!Orpheus, his raw singing, his desperation, his painfull need. THE YEARNING—
He sings this to the efigy of Our Good Witch, begging for you to wait for him, that he is going to find you and will bring you back home. He reprises it when he is dragged towards the field by the Gale force and through his transformation as the Scarecrow. You're the only good thing to ever happen to him, his teether to this reality, you saw him as he is and then you were cruely ripped away from him before you two could truly be together. Fiyero doesn’t believe himself worthy of being by your side, but he is willing to fight tooth and nail to be so. You're his one true love.
So he has swore for his honor to bring you back home– home by his side.
"Wait!
I'm coming– wait for me
I hear the walls repeating
The falling of my feet and it sounds like drumming!
And I am not alone...
I hear the rocks and stones
Echoing my song...
I'm coming!"
Hurts like Hell — Fleurie [▶]
This song would be sang by Fiyero, Elphaba and Glinda.
This song shows how much they're breaking inside, how their souls are breaking from missing you. They miss you so much that it phisically hurts. They sing this to different items, Glinda sings it to a photo she has tapped in her mirror while Fiyero sings it to the starry sky. Elphaba, on the other hand, sings it to your big efigy at night, but in all their minds they see your smile, your laugh, they see you dance in their memories as they sing.
"How can I say this without breaking
How can I say this without taking over
How can I put it down into words
When it's almost too much for my soul alone
I loved and I loved and I lost you
I loved and I loved and I lost you
I loved and I loved and I lost you
And it hurts like hell
Yeah it hurts like hell
I don't want them to know the secrets
I don't want them to know the way I loved you
I don't think they'd understand it, no
I don't think they would accept me, no
I loved and I loved and I lost you
I loved and I loved and I lost you
I loved and I loved and I lost you
And it hurts like hell
Yeah it hurts like hell"
The Angel — DeLaurentis [▶]
This song is actually sang by all the Yanderes in the story as they remember Our Good Witch, for them you were like an angel that descended from heaven to save them.
[ Glinda, Elphie, Nessa, Fiyero, Boq & The Wizard.]
"I dreamt a dream! What can it mean?
And that I was a maiden Queen
Guarded by an Angel mild:
Witless woe was ne'er beguiled!
And I wept both night and day,
And she wiped my tears away;
And I wept both day and night,
And hid from him my heart's delight.
So she took her wings, and fled;
Then the morn blushed rosy red.
I dried my tears, and armed my fears
With ten-thousand shields and spears.
And I wept both night and day,
And she wiped my tears away;
And I wept both day and night,
And hid from him my heart's delight."
But this song is also sung by Our Good Witch/ you, back in Kansas, you sing this lullaby to your small daughter Dorothy, and as she sleeps peacefully, you finally let the tears fall from your eyes as you remember all the people you left behind in Oz.
"Soon my Angel came again;
I was armed, he came in vain;
For the time of youth was fled,
And grey hairs were on my head."
Meanwhile, the farmheads that work on your neightborgs' ( who Dorothy affectionally calls 'Aunt Em' & 'Uncle Henry') farm, listen attentively to your voice, always eager to wish you a 'Good morning' or 'Good night', always trying to show off when you come to the farm or otherwise bicker amongs themselves about how you totally noticed them.
Even Ms. Gulch, the mean neightbor lady who Dorothy swears is a witch, also seems oddly infatuated with you, her tone becoming more agreeable when she comes over to complain about Toto chasing her cat.
All of this is regarding this fanfic!
Have any other songs that remind you of our Yanderes & Good Witch relationship??? Thoughs, opinions or questions on these short songcannons??? I'll be doing more of these as the story progresses! For now be on the lookout for Chapter 3 cooming pretty soon!! 👀👀
A sleepy little headcanon that keeps on rolling around my noggin. About Galinda at the end of chapter two of The Good Witch of OZ.
As she's meticulously following all the good witches press and interviews. Anything that mentions what the good witch is wearing being shoes, jewellery, or a designer brand. I'm betting that if there's a matching piece or set in pink she's getting it. The good witch mentions liking a particular food, she's got to try it. An interviewer asked what fragrance the good witch is wearing, Galinda becomes obsessed with finding the perfect scent to compliment it. Just some sleepy thoughts of mine I wanted to share.
Hi @magical-dreamland ♥︎
Omgg that sounds like something she would absolutely do! She has a notebook with eveerything you've ever said you like, wore in public, tried in your travels and she's bought a matching set in pink (later she starts liking lavender because it's the color that comes when you mix both your colors & it's why her dress in For Good is the color it is.) ) and reviews every food you tried with starts and deep reviews.
For u, sweet friend:
'Galinda ran through the streets of the Upper Uplands, her heels clicking against the stone pavement as she ran towards the kiosk.
" A newspaper! Oh! and the cOZmopolitan and The Wizard's Bazar!" The blonde smiled at the kiosk man as he gathered what she asked. "Please!"
" So anything with the Good Witch in it?" He laughs softly as Galinda’s eyes widden.
"Is she in more that I don't know?!"
"Just this kiddie magazine, it's got a poster and a plastic headband that's like hers—"
"I'll take it!!!" Galinda didn’t let the man finish speaking in her eagerness, she then covered her lips and giggled. " sorry my...eh... my little brother, he's a big fan!" Her hand went to the purse, searching for her wallet.
"He's lucky then! This is the last one I have left" the old man smiled as he handed the blonde her purchase. "Have a nice day, miss"
"You too!!" She said before she took running back to her home.
When she was inside her big, marble house she let out a high-pitched scream as she jumped in her spot, her heels clicking on the clean floor in her joy. As both her parents looked at her from the kitchen door, Galinda's cheek flared red as she coughed in her fist. " Good morning dear Momsie & Popskie! If you excuse me... I got.... mail"
"Sure sweetkins" her father smiled warmly as Galinda took off running to her room. " It's so cute, she's got a crush!"
" Our little girls first big crush!!" Galinda's mom added. "We should get her that custom Good Witch doll she's been eyeing all week!"
"Lemme get my wallet!"
Meanwhile, up in her room Galinda laid in her bed tummy down, magazines sparwled on her pink bedsheeds while pink highlighters of different shades of pink as well as a notebook laid before the blonde. First, she opened the kiddie's magazine and pulled out the plastic headband and smiled with pink flushed cheeks.
"I could paint it pink but... then it wouldn’t be like hers..." Galinda mumbled as she pulled the headband closer to her eyes, cheeking the thin green ribbons down the poppy flowers on the sides as a small smile drew on her face. " But it’s still kinda cute" she mumbled as she put it on her gold head. She reached for the poster then and she opened it with a smile as her ears flushed redder when her gaze meet yours in the poster. " And where should I put you... I already have some up, but you look so pretty in this one..." she pouted as her gaze traveled through her pink room, her walls filled with posters, newclips of you and miscellanious pink decorations and photos of friends. " Oh, you’re kinda small, maybe I can cover my binder with you...." a small smile covered her face as she eyed her new pink binder. "Oh Galinda you're so smart!" She mumbled to herself.
Putting the poster aside, she laid better and picked up her highlighters as she opened the interviews with you. "Aha... so she likes Quadling mousse, hmm... I think I can ask popsies for it... and oh! Munchkin Blue is her favorite color??? Mine is Uplands Pink! And they go soooo good together!! Hmmm I think I own some Victoria & Dulcino... Oh wait I recognize this dress!! This is Couture!! And I swear I saw a pink on on the runway... we could be matching!!! " Galinda giggled, twirling her golden hair as she scribbed all the information she could gather about your likes and taste in clothes. Highlighting the brands and the names of the clothes you wear so she could check later if they had a matching one in pink. " When we meet at Shiz... I can start a conversation if we are wearing the same!!! I hope she's not wearing that uniform, is such a darb! " she mumbles to herself, writing furiously with her pink glittery pen as she kicked her legs. " Oh!! We're gonna be sooo close!! Best friends— No! Even closer! Like SIsters!!! Aah!!! M-Maybe we could even echange clothes!!!" The new though made her face burn a few shades brighter as she pictured you with her newest pink lacey set and steam almost escape her ears. Galinda picked up a pink teddybear as she laid on her back on the bed, hugging the teddy to her face and screaming into it, kicking furiously in the air.
With thousled hair, her brown eyes flickered back to the picture of you with a few bird journalists, with a small smile she picked the pinkest highlighter and drew a heart around your smiling face. " (Y/n) & Galinda, the sorceresses of Oz, bestest of friends..." she mumbled absentmindedly, drawing hearts all around your picture, her notebook full of everything you like and own and the matching or complimenting items. Like your parfum, that Galinda bought so she could — spray her bedsheets and clothes to sleep surrounded by you— find the matching, complimenting one for her.
As she hummed happily, her legs kicking and head in her hands as she drew pictures of you and her in matching gowns, holding hands, kissing....? She quickly scrambled to cross that drawing out as her face burned hotter than the sun, so distracted was she in her little drawings that when her parents opened (kicked down) her door with a cheer, she jumped in her spot, quickly closing and hidding her pink notebook under her pillow.
"LOOK WHAT WE GOT YOU, SWEETIEPIE!"
"IS THAT THE DELUXE GOOD WITCH DOLL?!?! OHHH POPSIE, MOMSIE!! I LOOVE ITT!!" Galinda screeches as she ripped the doll from her father and hugged it close to her chest. "THANK YOU!!!"
Thank you for sharing your headcanon♥︎♥︎ It sounds like something Galinda would be doing between chapter 2 and 3!!

[Glinda is going to go thru some big time lesbian awakening, just you wait...]
