We were doing an activity where the kids got to make a playbill for a musical about themselves and all the other kids were like “character list: mommy, daddy, me, my brother, my best friend” “scenes: I get a puppy, first day of school, my baby sister is born”

But one little girl was like “oh, it’s a musical about ME you say” and the character list was all the other girls in the class cast as her body parts, and a story about how her body works.

“Kaylee is nice so she will be the heart. Lily is my kidneys. Sapphire is the lungs.”

She surreptitiously showed me that the girl who kept taking the crayons she was using was cast specifically as “left buttcheek” and I had to pretend like that wasn’t the funniest thing I’d ever seen.

One time I was standing around outside with some ppl (idr what we were doing) and I was very very sleepy so I did a big dramatic yawn like a kitty cat.

And this lady came out of the group, very angry, amd shouted at me: "Hey! Cover your fucking mouth when you do that!"

I (1) had never before been told that one ought to cover one's mouth when one yawns and (2) was much too sleepy to conduct discourse on the matter, so I in socratic fashion replied ". . . What?"

And then she said a sentence that I will remember for the rest of my life. She said: "If you yawn without covering your mouth again, I will report you for sexual harassment."

To which I retorted: ". . . What?"

And she narrowed her eyes at me suspicious-like and said "I know what you're trying to do" and she walked away and I never saw her again.

To this day I wonder what indescretion I'm meant to have committed. Do I yawn hornily? Did I put too much cunt in my yawn and so got mistaken for some sort of yawn fetishist? I Do Not Know.

when i was 13 i made up a group of ocs who were gifted the ability to teleport but with caveats that made it really irritating for them and everyone else. i can’t remember all of them but two. one of them could only pass from place to place through water. they could jump into something as small as a cup of tea and come out the other side through a puddle or something but notably they did get wet. so any time they teleported anywhere they arrived soaking wet. they had to go everywhere with a waterproof paddling bag as a purse. the other could only teleport between occupied bathrooms. any bathroom in the world was fine but it had to be in use. they could just ask a friend to go in first and cheat it that way but in an emergency they’d just have to barge in on someone with their eyes closed and yell “SORRY! SORRY!” and disappear immediately from existence.

That evokes - to me - Homelessness.

The person on the street who had no other choice but to steal the best cart they could from a store’s corral just to have a way to transport the meager belongings that are all they fucking have in this world. And it’s NOT a home or a safe place or a shelter but it’s all you fucking have!
