do not feel guilty for letting go of people you feel are toxic in your life. if they respond by trying to bring you down and making you feel like you are wrong for feeling how you do, it only confirms they are toxic for you, and you have the right to remove yourself from that situation to somewhere you feel safe. nothing they say to demean or belittle you is true; it is only a reflection of their own hostile emotions and thoughts. their inner turmoil is not a reflection of you. do not respond by trying to hurt them back, because in the end, this only causes you more pain, and fuels their intent to continue hurting you. do not engage, and instead keep yourself safe.
Laura K Linke
It’s normal and valid to mourn the things you didn’t get to experience.
“I will love you with the dust of who I was, with the skin I am now, and with the bones that will one day decorate my tomb.”
— Christopher Poindexter
“I saw the world from the stars’ point of view, and it looked unbearably lonely.”

— Rae Smith
i’m proud of you for facing the days you really don’t want to face
I don’t do it willingly
i’m still proud of you for doing it
“Repeat this until you understand it: I do not need people who do not need me.”

do something every day that brings you peace

For most people, life doesn’t truly begin until they’re 26-30 or older. The way we romanticize and obsess over youth is super harmful. Your life is not over at 21, I promise you. It’s just beginning
I wish ppl would stop ts. Fr im turning 28 in a few days and I just want to be left tf alone even though I’m tired of being alone….. if that makes sense.
and it breaks my heart
What if…?
