TBH the reason I want Hans in Frozen 3 isn't bc I desperately want Helsa to be canon or anything. I just think Hans can drive a lot of characters to have interesting character arcs, especially Elsa. They share the same mindset with opposite viewpoints bc Elsa has learned to love while Hans has not. They would think each other were stupid for doing something they had been taught their entire lives. For example, Hans would think Elsa is dumb for abandoning her throne. He would think the world is cruel and she's just too naive and Elsa is trying to prove him wrong. His existence challenges everyone especially her, as a character, not her power. And Hans can learn a lot from her, in case he wants to.
Maybe I'll write about the dynamics between Hans and Kristoff Anna or even Olaf in the future.
I know I'm not alone, but being an adult in the Frozen fandom I feel a bit out of place at times. I know there's people here that are 18-20 and up in the fandom, but here I am, literally 28 years old with a job, bills, and apartment. I'll be 29 when Frozen 3 comes out, which means I'll be 30 when Frozen 4 comes out or potentially older if Disney doesn't release the year after the third film. I was already 15 when the first movie came out. I feel old as heck! 😭
I really didn't think Disney would add THAT detail.
I love it when Anna's dresses match the aesthetic of the background and she just blends in
Since everyone is coming out with Frozen 3 theories based on the latest D23 clip, I decided to share a few wild ones of my own that I really like, some have also theorized 😅:
The new villainess is the original Snow Queen from the Hans Christian Andersen story, or is similar to it, since her attire looks like some of the evil Elsa fanart from early adaptations of the first film.
2. The new villainess was a fifth spirit before Elsa, maybe she went rogue or got "dethroned" in a sense.
3. Elsa's identity/status gets challenged by the new villain. Based on recent sneak peeks online, it was that the antagonist could give Elsa a "run for her money." Elsa also might start wondering what does it really mean to be the fifth spirit. And if the villainess never had to hide her powers or she lived freely and never in fear, that might lead to some... interesting emotional vulnerability and confliction for Elsa. I even imagined a magical cat fight between Elsa and the villainess about who's the "better" snow queen. 😂
4. I didn't notice it until some other people on Reddit pointed it out, but Elsa has a cut on her cheek after being hit in the face by the ice snowflake creature shown in the sneak peek clip. It could be just a simple cut that Disney decided to show, or somehow it could mean something more. Could it be a symbol of vulnerability or the aftermath of being faced by something stronger than you challenge wise? Which leads me to point 5...
5. This one is really wild I know, but like I've mentioned before, what if there's more to the scratch? When I was in high school/early college I read this book series called Drama High, written by L. Divine. In the 19th installment of the series titled No Limit, the main character, Jayd, pricks her shoulder where her tattoo is while she's picking herbs to make a libation for her grandmother who's trapped in a deep sleep. As Jayd continues to try to balance her powers and her enemy's powers, the prick/tattoo starts reacting to her powers and getting more irritated/sore. Not saying that Elsa's cut could get infected but what if it starts reacting to the magic that came from snowflake? Could Elsa absorb some of the villainess's powers? What would happen then?
I have a few more theories, but I'll save them for later. Let me know what you all think about these. If you think I've lost my mind, let me know also. 😅
“Mouth to mouth stuff”
Pink Anna🩷
THE OG SNOW QUEEN?!
THEYRE HOLDING EACH OTHER WE ARE SO BACK
Guys GUYS GUYS
The background is LITERALLY Kristoff & Anna’s wedding ceremony!!!
First thing I thought: "Lorcana outfit."
Spider-Man: Brand New Day was everything I could have hoped for. Haven't been this emotional over a film since the first Inside Out movie. I'm gonna eat Chipotle and sit by a window and reflect over life. Also, Jean Grey is my sister now.
Random thoughts and ideas: I want Aelita's hair to be longer, not crazy long, perhaps softly brushing her shoulders, to signify that some time has passed. Maybe she's doing more gigs with the Subdigitals in between school time.
Odd potentially gets a stable girlfriend.
Yumi and Ulrich have figured things out and we get an on-screen kiss.
Jeremy is taking both high school and college classes.
Jim still would rather not talk about it.
Mrs. Hertz announces her retirement from Kadic at the end of the year.
The writers take the Samurai Jack route and give the new season a higher rating from TV-Y7 to TV-PG. Nothing too crazy, just a higher rating to address certain mental and physical aspects that the original series didn't/couldn't address.
William has nightmares from his time of being under Xanas control.
The Super Mario Bros along with Princess Peach and Rosalina team up with the Lyoko warriors to help them fight against the next "big bad." (Okay, just joking on the last one.)
Code Lyoko getting a new season? Part of me is really excited, another part of me is a bit skeptical. Maybe they can go the Samurai Jack season 5 route and have more mature themes with a higher rating. 🤔
