Life had been going smoothly lately; it was just what you needed after the last year you had been through. You were tired and exhausted; losing person after person, but they were never worth it anyway.
You were out with your friends the day he dm'ed you for the first time in over a year. You had noted prior to that, about a month ago, that he had followed you again and liked a couple of your photos. "That's weird? Maybe, it's mercury retrograde..." you thought to yourself at the time. Now you were faced with his notification; all it read was "hey ___."
[11.48pm] hey ___
seen.
You didn't know if you should respond or if you should ignore him. He had followed you before but you left it alone because you thought you had someone else at the time. That person only ended up hurting you anyway. You'd noticed him watching your stories from time to time when you searched for someone else's name but you quickly forgot him again. You had moved on. Right?
[4.27pm] you: hey
[4.34pm] him: hi. i just wanted to apologise for being a dick to you. you didnt deserve any of it. ive changed a lot since we last knew each other.
[4.58pm] you: oh. i wasnt expecting that
[4.58pm] its okay i dont really remember what you even did...last year was a lot
[5.00pm] him: oh i thought you hated me
[5.03pm] you: i never hated you. just forgot you existed.
[5.03pm] him: oh. thats better i guess? haha
[5.05pm] him: how have you been?
Just like that you fell back into conversation with him. It always felt easy with him and you hated that you felt what you felt before. You realised that you missed him too, but so much had happened to you that you didn't have time to miss him when he was gone. Now he was here. As a friend.
time skip 3 months
Namjoon was in your bed. You weren't sure how, actually that was a lie. Prior to not talking to each other for a year, the two of you had slept together twice. He told you he liked someone and broke it off, but you were in such a fragile state that you didn't understand how to cope and projected onto him. He never held it against you. Months went on and he came back and asked to sleep with you again. You said no because you were seeing someone at the time, yet he was adamant. You didn't talk for another 6 months.
Things fell back into place. The two of you were friends, friends who spoke about fucking each other and made plans to do so. That's why you woke up with him next to you. He had been staying over for the last few nights; him staying over made you rethink your feelings for the person beside you. You weren't sure if it was just nostalgia coming back or if you really did like him again. You didn't want to get hurt.
The night before you had suggested that the two of you wake up early to go on a walk and watch the sunrise by the Han River, so here you were waking up at 5am. "I wanna go back to sleep." "This was your idea. C'mon, let's go." "I don't wanna, I wanna sleep." "___, it's my last day here, c'mon, let's do it." he chuckled as he gently pulled your sleepy body so that you were sitting upright. You were hunched over, rubbing your eyes and pouting at being woken up so early on a day off. "___, stop pouting. This was your idea." he laughed, you always loved the sound of his laugh; it was something that always made you smile. You smiled at him before pulling yourself together and freshening up.
"Do you have a destination in mind?" he asked you as the two of you left the warmth of your apartment. "Nope, just along the river." you told him, leading the way. "Okay. I've missed the river. There's a lot of memories there." "Your fault for moving back to your parents." you teased. "Yeah, but I don't have any reason to be in Seoul anymore. We finished university and my job's all online." "Maybe you just need to find a reason." you shrugged. You hoped he knew what you meant by that.
"Hey, we should sit on this bench. The sun's rising now. It's a nice view too." he smiled as he guided you towards the bench he had targeted. The seat gave you the prefect view of the sun rising above the horizon and the two of you watched as the night faded and hues of pink and red started to blend into blue.
"I missed you, you know?" "Huh?" "When we didn't talk. I thought about you a lot. I know you forgot about me, but you're hard to forget, ___." "You just wanted to fuck me again." "Well, that was a factor." he chuckled. "But, seriously, I did miss you." "Why are you telling me this?" you laughed, not making eye contact with him; you don't know why but you were too scared.
"What if I told you I liked you and wanted to take you on a date?" he asked, looking at you as you stared across the river at the sun. You took a deep breath and sighed, finally turning to him, giving him a weak smile. "Namjoon, I would think you're lying to me." "Why?" "It's not that you ever lied to me. You told me as soon as you liked someone and I was the one that reacted like a monster, but there's a lot of things going on in my head that make it hard for me to trust what you're saying. A lot happened to me in the year we didn't speak to each other. I got really hurt and it's not something I'm ready to do again. I don't want to let what happened to me affect what could be here. I want to say yes, I do, but I'd wanna think about it more too. I feel like that's the right thing to do, since I've always been impulsive when it comes to emotions. I'd like to just be rational." as you told him what you felt your eyes drifted from his face to the river to your fiddling hands; you were so anxious and you didn't want to build a wall between the two of you but you were scared you might.
"Ah, I see. I'm sorry that happened while we were strangers." Namjoon said after reaching for your hand. "So, if I asked you on a date right now, what would you say?" he asked, looking into your eyes for any signs of rejection. "I wanna say yes, but-" "Then say yes, for now. It's okay if you change your mind later, but how about we try? We've known each other for a long time. We can trust each other, right? I won't hurt you again." "Okay." "Okay?" "Okay."

Jungkook and you had crossed paths before, just over a year ago to be precise. The two of you had matched on a dating app, not looking for anything more than attention and validation from a stranger, but ended up taking a liking to each other. Everything was going smoothly for 6 months but then both of your destructive tendencies got in the way; he stopped communicating what was wrong and you acted with your emotions instead of your brain. You hurt each other and the trust you had had now disappeared. You both had decided that it was best to stop talking to each other for a while to figure out everything you wanted and needed from each other.
In Jungkook’s defence, he had told you he wasn’t ready to be in a relationship with anyone. You had no idea why he did what he did though. Why he treated you like you were his entire world? He said that he still wanted to be friends, but you knew that was just him being polite. You knew your friends were right about him, but you didn’t want to believe it. He took your heart and tore it into pieces, yet his hoodie was still hanging in your closet after all this time. Every so often your mind would wander back to the time when he loved you back, even though he never said he did, it was evident in his actions that he did. He was always available when you were, always ready to buy you food or offer you clothes when you were cold.
He could never see you in the state that you were in when you first tried to get over him; you hadn’t left your apartment weeks, barely making it to lectures and classes. Your friends had come around a few times to make sure that you were alive, but even they stopped checking up on you. You weren’t in the state that you were in because of him, no, you were that way because life had become a mess ever since you met him and everything had come crashing down. You no longer knew what to do and where you were going with life; you had lost yourself when you lost him and now you were left to find that girl again
Now here you were a year later, standing across from him at a college party. It was a Friday night, you’d had a long week and wanted to let steam off, so you agreed to join your friend at some party that was supposedly a big deal. He looked just as good as ever and you quietly took in all his features before quickly turning away when he noticed you. “Bea, he fucking saw me; I need to go somewhere else.” “Oh, c’mon ___, it’s been like a year, just talk to him. It’s not like you still have feelings for him, right?” “That’s not funny.” “He’s coming over now, go!” “Bea!” you shouted, but she had already left you to go talk to someone she’d probably hook up with later, at least someone was gonna get some.
“Hi stranger.” “Uh, hey, what’s up?” you plainly spoke, God, you wanted to get out of this conversation but no matter where you looked you couldn’t find an exit cue. “Already trying to find a way to avoid me?” he chuckled and you couldn’t help but notice the way he still looked down when he did. “No, it’s not that at all! I’m just, uh, wondering where my friends are.” “Sure, you don’t have to lie to me.” “I’m sorry,” you sighed “It’s just, I wasn’t really expecting to see you here, or anywhere really.” “How could you not when we go to the same college?” he laughed, you always loved his laugh, the sound of it could light up the whole world. “I don’t know, I guess, I just. I guess I just didn’t want to.” you shrugged, looking away from him, trying your hardest to avoid any eye contact. “Hey, how about we go outside and have a real conversation? Wouldn’t that be better?” he asked before holding his hand out for you; you stared at it and then at him, before sighing and grabbing it. You followed his lead into the garden and sat in the corner, away from all the noise.
“So…” “So…” “How have you been, ___?” “Uh, good, yeah. You?” “Good.” he nodded, looking away and realising just how awkward the two of you had become. “Remember when things were good between us?” he softly smiled. “Yeah, how could I forget? That was the healthiest thing I’ve had in a while.” “Did you date anyone after?” “No, didn’t really want to. You?” “Eh, kinda, but realised I didn’t want to either.” The two of you sat in silence for a moment afterwards, both thinking about how it all went wrong. “Do you want to try again?” he suddenly asked. “Jungkook, you know I can’t answer that.” “Sorry, it was a stupid question.” “Jungkook, that’s not what I mean. I just think we hurt each other a lot.” “No, it’s okay. I get it.” “How about, uh, you and I hang out sometime? Let’s catch up properly.” “Sure, are you free tomorrow?”
“Hey, I hope it wasn’t too hard for you to get here; this is one of my favourite cafes ever.” you smiled when Jungkook approached you. “No, no, it was pretty easy actually. I don’t live too far from here. What’s so amazing about it?” “Let’s go in and I can show you.” Jungkook opened the door to the cafe, signalling for you to walk in before him and followed after you. “This is why.” you smiled, pointing at the display of cakes they had on show, as soon as you entered the cafe. Jungkook took a moment to take in the display and the rest of the cafe’s pink and natural aesthetic; there were plants in every corner and even a cat wandering around, asking for pets from customers. “I can see why this place would be your favourite, it feels very you.” he smiled, looking back at you. “Thank you, let’s order and find a seat.”
“So...how’s college going?” you asked as the two of you sat by the window. “You know, it’s okay. Kinda boring, kinda stressful, at least I’ve got baseball though. You?” “Oh yeah, I forgot you were on the team. Same for me though, you know, stressful.” you chuckled, awkwardly tucking a piece of your hair behind your right ear. “So…” “Yup…” “What are your plans for later?” “Oh, um, just hanging out with Bea, you remember her, right?” “Is she the one you live with that dated that really weird guy on the swim team?” “Yup, that’s her. I’m surprised you don’t remember her as the girl who split wine down your favourite shirt, you know, after we, uh, stopped talking.” “Oh yeah...no hard feelings.” he awkwardly chuckled. The two of you had grown a lot more distant than you had even realised and you were now wondering if being here was even worth it; was there even anything you could fix?
“I missed you, ____.” “Jungkook.” “No, hear me out.” you could feel yourself holding your breath, worried about the sudden confession. Who was he to miss you? Especially after what he put you through. You were over it, but you never received an apology and you were just disappointed that he ever did all the things that he did. “I blamed you for so much and I’m so sorry. I never admitted anything was my fault. I didn’t think it was, but looking back, I can see how my behaviour triggered your reactions. I’m sorry I lied to you, I know, it doesn’t take back anything I did or said, but I want to work on getting you to trust me again. You were my everything, ___. I was just as scared as you were, but I didn’t want to show you and I let us grow apart instead. I hate that I didn’t try to fight for us the way you did; I just gave up. I regret it so much, ___. I miss having you in my life. You are such a radiant light and your personality was so addictive; I couldn’t get enough and I find myself missing the girl that would cheer me on and woke me up to good morning texts and photos of her smiling before class.” “Jungkook.” “It’s a lot, I know.”
“Jungkook. I’m gonna need some time to think about everything you said.” “That’s okay. Hopefully, not a year.” he chuckled, trying to keep things lighthearted. “I was really hurt when you didn’t fight for us. I was hurt when you gave up and allowed your feelings to disappear. I felt like I didn’t know who you were and the person I was talking to didn’t exist. You put me through a lot.” “I’m sorry, that’s all I can say. I want to show you that I’ve changed though.” “Just give me some time to figure stuff out, okay?”
“He said what?” “Bea, chill out.” “I can’t believe him, after everything he put you through he’s basically asking to come back into your life like it didn’t happen?” “Bea has a point. ___, your heart is too big sometimes.” Daisy, the third part of your trio, stated. “Daisy, this wouldn’t even have happened if Bea protected me at the party but she left me to talk to him.” “Bea...” “I’m sorry! I thought he was just gonna ask her to fuck or something, you know, something she can defend!” “It doesn’t matter guys! What’s done is done. Now do I give him a chance? Maybe, as a friend? I don’t want to exactly date him anymore...those feelings are gone.” “Are they really?” Daisy teased, knowingly. “For the most part.” you pouted, dragging out ‘part’. “Okay, I got it! Don’t speak to him!” Bea said, she was being serious. “Bea, you know that won’t happen. Especially with how impulsive ___ is with these things.” “Ugh, you’re right. Okay, just be friendly? Tell him this is purely friendship.” “Yeah, that’s a good start...” Daisy laughed.

Hi!! Today I turned 20, and I’m feeling all kind of bday vibes haha. Can you do a scenario where Jin organizes a sweet birthday date at home after a day of everything going wrong. Stuff like him cooking food, watching favorite movie, and some cute fluff and smut. ♥️
genre: fluff?? can you call it that??? smut?? again can you call it that???
word count: 1k
a/n: smut is not my forte imma just put that out there… also this is so late rip its probably your bday again but happy belated bday
Stress. Seokjin felt nothing but stress at the current moment; he was in his apartment making birthday preparations but nothing was going right. “Why can’t I seem to get this cake right? Should I have just put an order in… No, no, I’ll carry on for her even though this is so ugly.” he muttered as pulled out the lump that was supposed to be your birthday cake. “Hmm, maybe if I just slap some cream and fruit on it it won’t be so bad.” and so he took the double cream out of the fridge and started to beat it to create whipped cream. After creating the whipped cream he cut up your favourite fruit and placed everything in an orderly manner onto the cake. “There we go. Not my best work but it’ll have to do; I’ve made too many cakes.” he muttered as he carefully placed the cake into the fridge to preserve it as long as possible.
After he had finished with the cake he cleaned everything up so that he could continue to the next step: the dinner he had planned. Just as he was about to carry onto the next dish after having made the kimchi stew earlier his phone rang like crazy. “Hello?” “Seokjin?” “Yes, honey?” “I’m gonna be back in an hour, do you need anything from the store?” “Uh, no? You’re home in an hour?” “Yeah, is everything okay?” “It’s perfect, I’ll see you later, baby.” he calmly told you but went into panic after he hung up. He was nowhere near ready for you to be home; he still had to set the table and put the balloons and flower petals out but he really needed to make this topokki too; it was your favourite dish that he made. He knew it wouldn’t take long but he would also have to change into his outfit that he bought for your birthday to dress up for you, something he barely ever had time to do. “There’s too much to do, for God’s sake.” He hurriedly put the topokki on the stove and let the rice cakes sit whilst he brought out the balloons and looked for the rose petals. Giving up for the moment, he went back to continue the food, releasing a sigh of relief when he realised it was all complete and now he just needed to find those damn petals and where had he put your favourite film and chocolate?
He searched the bedroom, specifically the wardrobe, to find where he had remembered hiding the two missing items. After several minutes of rummaging he finally found what he was looking for and quickly made his way back to the living/dining area and placed it on the table with the food that he had made and set up. He ran back to the bedroom to put on the clothes that he had bought specifically for this occasion just as you opened the door and were greeted by the rose petals that led to the table. He hastily came out of your shared bedroom, tucking his shirt in, to greet you at the front and to take the bags that you were carrying off you. “Hello, my love.” he greeted, placing a gentle kiss on your forehead as he did so. “Happy Birthday.” “You did all of this for me?” “Well yeah? You deserve it. Follow the petals, I’ll put this stuff down in the kitchen.” he told you as he disappeared towards the kitchen; you carefully followed the petals, not wanting to ruin the amazing setup that he had made. When you finally saw what it had led you to you softly laughed; you couldn’t believe the hassle he had been through on his day off.
“Do you like it?” “It’s just what I needed after today.” you smiled as he pulled out your chair for you to take a seat. “Why? What happened?” he asked as he served you the food. “Well, for one, my boss was being an absolute prick for no reason. I had done everything he asked me to do and he was still complaining. And then when I was on my lunch break they got my order wrong and some kid ran into me and I dropped my lunch, which then made it inedible. And after that I went back to work to get shouted at some more and keep in mind I was starving too; I almost snapped at the guy. When I finally got off work I thought everything will be okay because I would be going home to you but no, someone has to drive write into a puddle and drench my favourite work clothes so I walk into the supermarket all drenched to buy some stuff that we were missing and I could go on but I don’t want to ruin tonight’s mood…” you told him, getting quieter towards the end once you had noticed how much you were talking. “No, you had a bad day; you’re allowed to keep ranting if you want.” “No, you’ve put in all of this effort for me. No one even seemed to know it was my birthday.” “I do.” he beamed as he signed towards the balloons and your favourite movie sharing a spot on the table. “You make everything better.” you softly smiled. “How about you and I eat all of this delicious food that I made and then change into our comfiest pyjamas and watch this movie?” “I really need that.”
Hey there, wattpad user chimy-licious has plagiarised one of your fics, it's in her 'bts fluff oneshots' book called 'BABY DONT CRY (PJM)'. She's an unrepentant, serial plagiariser so there might be more on there. Just a heads up. x

As if college wasn’t already enough of a pain in the ass, your so-called best friend had fucking bailed on you again. His excuse? He didn’t have one, it was like you weren’t even worth lying to. “Taehyung, you can’t keep bailing on our plans.” you told him over the phone whilst you were starting an assignment. “I’m so sorry, I’m just really busy.” “I know you are, you always are.” “___, please just understand.” “I’m trying but I never see you anymore. This isn’t because I told you I liked you last month was it?” “No, it’s nothing like that. I just- I’m busy, okay? Just wait for me.” It hurt that he was treating you the way he did because he knew how you felt and he pretended that none of those feelings existed, it was so selfish of him.
It never used to be like this; you couldn’t help that you felt the way you did. When you got a glimpse of what a relationship with him would be like your brain just suddenly turned on a switch that activated these feelings for him. He used to come into your dorm and try to rub off your eyebrows whilst you got ready, he would poke at you when some of your skin was exposed due to your cropped hoodie, he would carry you everywhere if you wanted him to and he made you the happiest person in the world but getting that glimpse also broke you apart because you would never truly experience being with him and you had come to terms with that; however, he was the one acting weird, not you.
“Are you coming to the club this Friday?” you asked Taehyung, over the phone. You were always talking over the phone these days since Taehyung never seemed to want to meet in person. “Yeah, should be. It’s Yoongi’s birthday.” “That’s the only reason?” “Well yeah, why else would I go?” “Yeah, why else… not like I haven’t seen you in like two months when you live five minutes away.” “____.” “It doesn’t matter. I’ve gotta go. Talk to you later.” After you hung up on him you collapsed onto your bed, staring at the ceiling blankly and before you knew it you were asleep. As you woke up there was a loud banging on the door of your tiny room, which irked you since that nap was the best sleep you had gotten all year. You reluctantly got up and moved towards the door at the thought it could be Taehyung behind it but you opened the door to a someone that was very much not him.
“Jungkook, what the fuck are you doing here?” “Taehyung told me to check on you. Something about not replying to his texts and calls. Oh and food. In case you forgot to eat again.” “Come in.” you tiredly replied, attempting to process the information he’d thrown at you. “Taehyung sent you?” “Yep.” “Is the food also from him?” “Yep.” “You know I haven’t seen him in like two months, right?” “Yeah… about that. What exactly happened?” “It’s nothing. He’s just being weird about it all.” “Oh, okay. Here, eat. You seem stressed.” he stated as he handed you a bag with a burger and fries in it. “That’s cuz I am stressed, Kook.” you replied before you started digging into the food.
“He misses you, you know?” “Nope. He sure doesn’t make it seem like he does.” “____, he won’t shut up about you, more than usual.” “Well, we’re seeing each other on Friday for Yoongi’s.” “That’s gonna be fun for all of us, isn’t it?” “What do you mean? You think I’ll confront his ass? I’m too lazy.” “At some point you’ll have to talk to him, ___.” “What if I don’t wanna?” “You’re being difficult, ___, this guy is your best friend.” “Yeah, the best friend that started acting all funny when I told him I liked him like two months ago. Like why can’t he just pretend I never said that?” “You told him you like him?” Jungkook replied, not knowing the missing piece of information that you had just told him. “Yeah, sucks to be me, right?” “___, you know him…He overthinks a lot. He’s probably just had a lot on his mind.” “It’s been like two months though, how long could he have been thinking?” “Look, ___, I know you’re upset and frustrated but everyone’s rooting for you guys to sort this stuff out. We know this can’t break your friendship and it sucks to see you guys the way you are but just see him on Friday and don’t let him act weird.” “Jungkook, I told him I liked him and it is breaking apart this friendship. I can’t stress the fact that I told him that and he stopped seeing me in person.” “Just come to me if you need to, okay? I’ll be right there. He’ll see you on Friday, he knows you’re coming, right?”
“Happy Birthday, bitch! You getting old now!” you screamed as you entered the living room of Yoongi’s apartment. “Thanks, I guess?” he chuckled as you pulled him in for a hug. “Glad you could make it.” Yoongi told you as he pulled away. “Glad I could be here. To be honest I need this night out.” “I think we all do;” he joked, “you spoken to Taehyung yet?” he whispered afterwards. “Well, we’ve spoken just not in person for a while.” “Talk to him.” “You talk to him.” “I did. It’s your turn now.” he deviously smiled as he left your side and went to the kitchen. “Bastard.” “Uh, hi. You need some company?” “Yes, I could actually do w-...oh, hi.” you awkwardly spoke, as you looked at the actual person who had spoken to you, realising it was Taehyung. “Want a seat?” “Yeah, that’d be quite nice.” “What have you been up to?” “You seriously gonna try and make small talk with me?” you asked, annoyed at the lack of getting to the point. “I don’t know what else to say. It’s been a while since we’ve seen each other.” he said as he sat down in the one seat that was left over. “Sit.” he told you as he motioned towards his lap and since there was nowhere else you obliged. “Yeah, I wonder who’s fault it would be that we haven’t seen each other in so long.”, you rolled your eyes. “It was justified.” “And what is that justification?” “Can we not talk about that here? We’re pre-gaming for the club and for Yoongi. We can talk about it later, okay?” “I don’t wanna sit here anymore.”
“How’d it go? I saw you talk to him.” Jungkook asked. “It didn’t go. He didn’t wanna talk about it here.” you sighed in annoyance. “Seriously? When will he talk about it?” Jungkook sighed. “I don’t know. He’s been avoiding it for so long and it’s annoying me. He’s, like, pretending it never happened.” you told him, in defeat as you sat down on a random chair in the kitchen. “He can’t ignore it forever; just give him a teensy bit more time.” “I already did that.” “Teensy bit more.” “Whatever, just take this next shot with me.” “I’m taking this as Taehyung didn’t want to talk about the elephant in the room between you guys?” Yoongi teased. “Is it that obvious?” “You want me to talk to him?” “No, that’ll make him want to run even further away.” “Whatever you want, hun.”
“Hey, Taehyung. What’s up?” “Uh, we’re celebrating your birthday?” “Not what I meant, dude.” “What’s up between you and ___?” “She sent you?” “Nah, she didn’t want me talking about it to you but you both seem so tense and upset over it.” “She told me she liked me.” “I am aware of that.” “I pretended she didn’t and have been actively avoiding her.” “I was aware of your dickhead behaviour too.” “Hey!” “Just calling it what it is. Besides why are you even acting this way? Didn’t you like her too?” “Yeah, I just. I never thought she would like me back so I guess I’ve been hiding in case it wasn’t true.” “You’re an idiot. Such an idiot. Sort this shit out. Do this as a birthday present or I’ll behead both of you.” Yoongi smiled before cheerfully walking back into the kitchen to mess with Jungkook and you.
After failing to find out what was up with Taehyung, everyone headed to the club, got ID’d, went to the bar, the regular. but you couldn’t help but wonder why Taehyung was still off with you. “Do you wanna dance?” a quiet, timid voice asked you from your left, causing you to turn away from your friends. “And you are?” “I’m, uh, Caesar.” “It’s nice to meet you but I’m here to celebrate with my friends tonight.” “That’s okay; can I get your number by any chance?” “Nope.” “Who the hell are you?” “I’m Taehyung”, he said as he swung an arm around your shoulder, causing you to roll your eyes, “I’m her boyfriend.” “Oh, uh, I’m sorry. I had no idea.” “No, Caesar, wait-” “Why were you talking to him?” “He made conversation with me whilst you grinded against your friends.” “I did not grind against them.” “Did too. The look on Jungkook’s face when he noticed it was unmissable.” you scoffed as you turned away to order another drink from the bar. Taehyung wrapped his arms around and softly placed his chin on your shoulder. “I’m sorry.” he pouted as he moved to the music with you against him. You couldn’t help but gently smile at the motion; you had missed this; you had missed him. “Sorry for what?” you asked as you finished the drink and placed it on the counter. “Everything, especially the not meeting up with you and bailing all the time part. And scaring that dude off.” he muttered as you placed your hands on his arms which were still wrapped around you. “I missed you.” “I missed you more.” he whispered into your ear before placing a delicate kiss just below. The two of you stayed in that moment for what felt like eternity before he dragged you onto the dance floor, insisting that you dance together even though you don’t dance.
“Taehyung, for the last time. I don’t dance.” “I can change that.” he smirked as he playfully placed his hands on your waist and pulled you into him. Naturally you wrapped your arms around his neck but you refused to do any dancing. “C’mon, just let go. You’re tense.” “Maybe, it’s because I don’t dance, Tae.” “Just follow my lead.” he chuckled as he swayed to the music with you in his arms; you rested your head against his chest and could hear how quickly his heart was beating. “Your heart is going haywire.” you gently told Taehyung. “That’s all your fault.” “You like me too, huh?” “Could say I’ve liked you longer.” “What?” you asked in shock, removing your head from against his chest but still keeping your arms around him. “Thought you knew. It’s kinda why I avoided you so much. I didn't want to get hurt. It was stupid of me. I should’ve just told you. I’m such an idiot some-” “Shut up. Just dance with me.” “Thought you didn’t dance.” “Thought you didn’t like me.” “Oh man, you got me there.” he replied, causing you to smile gently against his chest. “Do you wanna get out of this sweaty place?” Taehyung asked. “Yeah, it is way too stuffy in here. I’ll tell the others we’re grabbing food.” “No, let’s just sneak away. You and me.” “Fine, fine, just you and me.”

genre: minor angst cuz im terrible at writing it / romance / collegestudent!jungkook
word count: 4.2k
a/n: originally inspired by slow dancing in the dark by joji but then the plot went all types of ways ,, also im not gonna lie i havent proofread so this might just be all over the place
Your relationship with Jungkook had always been a bit complicated; you guys were really good friends but to everyone else it always seemed like the two of you were so much more than that; every now and then even you thought so but you shut down the idea in fear of ruining an amazing friendship. It was the end of summer and Jungkook was moving away for university whilst you still had a year of high school left. “You promise you’ll visit soon?”, you asked before he left the city which the two of you were so used to. “Of course, I can’t stay away from you for too long now, can I?”, he chuckled before hugging you goodbye and driving into the distance with a piece of you with him.
It’s not like life was that different without Jungkook around; the two of you had attended different high schools whilst he was here with you but you missed being able to call him whenever and make plans spontaneously, and of course, he missed that too. He would facetime you every few days so he could update you on what was happening in his life and so that he could hear you go on about yours.
“Hey, you know Hazel?”, you asked as you started your homework on facetime to Jungkook. “Mhm.” “It’s her birthday this weekend and she’s throwing this party and…”, you started but trailed off, getting distracted by your other task. “And?” “And I just wish you were gonna be there; we always attend parties together. It’s not the same without you here.” you pouted, turning your attention back to Jungkook. “I wish I could be there too; I honestly miss you so much and I’m never gonna find anyone like you here.” he softly told you. “Can you come?” you suggested. “This weekend?” “Yeah.” “I don’t know, I’ve got a lot going on over here, I finally landed a date with that girl I’ve been telling you about, you know, Sam, and if it was any other weekend I would but there’s just so much to do.” he told you, almost spiralling. “It’s okay, I know you’re busy. I just miss you so much. Hope the date goes well.”
It was now the weekend and you were preparing for Hazel’s 18th beside her and a few other friends. “You really went all out for this birthday, huh?”, you teased. “Of course! It’s my 18th! Why wouldn’t I?” she laughed as she went searching for her curling iron. “So who’s coming?”, Robyn asked from the corner of Hazel’s room. “Pretty much everyone, including people who were seniors last year. Well the ones that are around are coming.” she explained. “Seniors from last year? Like who?”, Chanelle asked. “Oh like you know Namjoon and his friends.” “But I thought those guys all moved away.”, you told the group. “Maybe they came back for my birthday.”, Hazel giggled.
Finally, it was Hazel’s time to shine. She entered the the room as though she was royalty, all eyes were on her. “Hi everyone!” she screamed as she entered and told everyone to resume to what they were doing before, before she walked over to you and your friends. “How was my entrance?” she joked. “Splendid, your Highness.” you replied, teasing her a little. “You promised not to tease me, it’s my birthday.” “Birthday party.” you corrected, but you both knew it was just light banter. “So, where are last year’s seniors?” Chanelle asked. “Why are you like this? You’re always pining after those guys.” Robyn laughed. “They’re good looking, okay?” “___, is Jungkook coming?” Hazel asked you. “Oh, he said he’s busy, got a date, so he won’t be here.” you stated, the disappointment obvious on your face. “Someone’s sad that the boy she’s in love with won’t be here.” “I’m not in love with him guys, he’s got a date.” “Yeah sure, that’s why you look so sad.” “I do not look sad, it’s my best friend’s birthday!” “Oh c’mon, ____.” Hazel spoke. “I’ll have you know I’m very happy for him.”
“You know all your friends were at Hazel’s party, right?” you asked Jungkook over the phone whilst you were doing yet another assignment. Senior year was eating you up and not having Jungkook around seemed to make everything so much worse. “They told me it was the high school party of the century. They do know they’re in college, right?” he chuckled. “Of course they know. They just wanted to come for Hazel. No hidden intentions, Jungkook. How’s that girl you like?” “Oh? Sam? She’s great! The date went really well and I think we’re going on a second one soon.” “Oh, that’s nice.” “Something wrong? You seem off.” “Just tired, that’s all.” “You’re always tired these days, ____. Take care of yourself.” “You can talk. You were the same last year.” “Yeah, but I don’t wanna see you like that. It upsets me.” “Jungkook, I can take care of myself.”
Another month and a half had passed before Jungkook came home to visit but he hadn’t told you. You didn’t find out until you were getting ready for a Christmas party. “You’ve got a visitor.” “Tell them to go away.” “I can’t.” “Mum. Look at the state I’m in. They cannot come in here.” “They’ve seen worse.” you didn’t even know how to react to her statement; you just sat there with your mouth open as she let the visitor in. “Hi.” “Oh, hey. Guess she was right.” you said, muttering the second part of your speech, turning away before you saw Jungkook enter. “How has my favourite girl been?” he asked as he pulled you into his embrace. “I’ve been better.” “Oh, come on now.” “Jungkook, what are you doing here?” “It’s the holidays.” “It is?” “Hey, no sarcasm.” “Fine, but seriously the holidays came quick this year.” you laughed before pulling away from him and finally seeing him in his suit. “Yeah, it’s crazy, right? What have you been up to besides binging on Netflix and doing assignments?” “Nothing really. Just that and talking to you. How’s Sam?” “I’ll tell you that later. I want to know what you have been up to.” “I just told you.” “Surely you’ve done more.” “No, I have no life, Jungkook. Also you look very done up, strange seeing you like this.” “Could say the same about you. You’re in a dress and everything.” “It’s a Christmas party, of course I added more effort than usual.”
“Taehyung!” you called out as you reached the dinner hall with Jungkook. “My favourite duo!” “How have you been?” you smiled as you pulled him into your body. “I’ve been pretty great, college is not so bad. Anyway, it’s cold. Let’s all go in.” “You know where we sitting?” “Not a clue.” Soon after the three of you were able to find your seats at your table and sat down, waiting for something to happen but the guests were still coming in and filling up the place. “Are you seeing anyone?” Taehyung asked you out of the blue. “Taehyung, I don’t even have time for myself, how on Earth could I be seeing someone?” “Hey, I was just tryna make small talk; we’re just sat in silence as we wait for everyone to come.” “Where is everyone anyway. I know you guys have a habit of being late but even Tae is here.” “Some of them just really take their time.” Taehyung chuckled as he noticed Jungkook who was not interacting with the two of you. “Jungkook, hello? Earth to Jungkook?” Taehyung teased. “He’s probably talking to his new favourite girl.” you told him. “I don’t have a new favourite.” Jungkook sternly spoke as he lifted his gaze from his phone. “You having your eyes glued to your phone suggests otherwise.” You replied before turning your attention to the loud commotion by the door. “That’s our lot.” Taehyung smiled. “Guys! Over here!” “What was that all about?” Taehyung whispered to you. “I have no idea. I was just teasing but he took it so seriously.”
“___! Hello!” Jimin shouted from across the hall. “Hurry over!” you laughed as Taehyung and you stood and made your way over to the other 5 boys who had arrived later. You attempted to hug all of them at once but ended being engulfed by all of them. “Guys, I love you but I’d like to breathe now.” you joked as you motioned towards your table where Jungkook was waiting. “Jungkook! How have you been, man?” Namjoon smiled as he leaned in for a hug. “I’ve been doing great, what about you, dude?” “Great too. Heard you got a crush?” “It’s a bit more than that.” Jungkook whispered to which Namjoon winked. “Stop gossiping! It’s Christmas, let’s celebrate together. It’s been too long since we’ve all been together like this.” Seokjin as he sat down beside Namjoon.
The night was going great, for the most part, everyone was interacting and it was essentially one big party with various people from the high schools you had attended and people who came back from college. Towards the end of the night the 8 of you had sat back down at your table to regain energy and started catching up on each other’s lives in depth.“So, Jungkook, about that girl?” Jimin teased as he nudged the left side of Jungkook’s torso. “Her name is Sam and she’s this really amazing girl that I met a couple weeks into college. We’ve been on several dates and uh, we’re kind of official now.” Jungkook smiled as his friends cheered for him and praised him for having a girl but Taehyung noticed your silence. “What’s wrong? Not happy for him?” Taehyung whispered. “No, it’s not that. If Jungkook’s happy, I’m happy.” “We both know you’re lying; you can tell me, ____.” “Taehyung, I’ve liked Jungkook for a bit now, okay? I never really thought that he would date someone else so soon. I really thought I’d have a chance.” “Oh, umm, ___. I’m sorry.” “It’s not your fault.” “Oi, you two! What are you whispering bout? Join the celebration of Jungkook’s new girlfriend.” Jimin shouted from across the table. “We’re busy.” Taehyung bluntly replied before turning his attention back to you and making sure that you were okay. “I’ll be fine.”
It was a week after the Christmas party and everyone had gathered at your house to watch a film together; you were on the sofa with Taehyung and Jungkook whilst the other guys were scattered across the floor and armchairs. “___, you okay? You’ve been off with me ever since I shared the news about Sam. I thought you’d be happy for me.” Jungkook pouted as he wrapped an arm around you. You automatically removed his wrap around you and leaned into Taehyung’s body instead. “It’s nothing. Don’t worry about it.” “You’re gonna have to tell me sooner or later, we’re best friends.” “Yeah, best friends can normally read each other a bit better than that.” “What are you talking about?” “Hey, can we not do this here? Everyone is gathered at my house for a good time not for us to bicker.” “Fine.” For the rest of the time being Jungkook and you didn’t speak but engaged with the other guys around you. “I’m hungry; does anyone want anything from the kitchen?” “Yeah, get me some popcorn!” “I’ll have more crisps!” “Well, is no one gonna help me? I can’t carry everything for you fatties.” Taehyung started to get up from the sofa but Jungkook signed for him to stay seated and followed you into the kitchen.
“Hey, Tae, can you- You are not Tae.” “That I am not but I’m your best friend and you’re hiding something from me.” “I’m not.” “You’re so bad at lying and hiding what you feel. ___, I know something’s bothering you.” “Well done. Do you want a gold star?” you asked him as you shut the cabinet with snacks in your arms. “Can you just talk to me like a normal person?” “I am.” “For fuck’s sake, just tell me what’s wrong.” he said, raising his voice at you, which he never did. “You wanna know what the fuck is wrong?” you shouted back at him, disregarded the food to the side. “Yeah, please enlighten me because you have been acting so off with me and I hate it!” “Are you that blind?” you scoffed. “What the fuck does that mean?” “I like your stupid ass. I can’t believe it took me as long as it did to realise but I like you and there’s nothing I can do about it right now because you’re with Sam! Are you happy now? You know what the fuck is wrong!” “I should go.”The next few weeks were painfully silent; Jungkook hadn’t attempted to message you once and you took the chance to move on with your life and get over him. You had started to talk to this guy who worked at one of the cafes in the area and Taehyung had slipped into Jungkook’s best friend position. “So, how was the date?” Taehyung teased as the two of you sat down to have lunch together. “Oh, it was amazing. We went to a bunch of galleries and he took really cute pictures of us. He’s the sweetest guy.” “After me.” “After you.” “Are you going on another date soon?” “Yeah, this weekend.” you shyly told him. “Ooh, look at you with your dates!” “Just a heads up, Jungkook is back in town this weekend til next weekend and I heard he’s bringing his beloved.” “Who cares? At least we get to finally meet the oh so amazing Samantha.” you sarcastically remarked. “He spoken to you yet? You know since the confession?” “Nope. Pussy.” “Hey now, you’re both my friends so you better make up soon.” you threw your hands up in defence, signing that you didn’t start the silent treatment between the two of you.
The weekend couldn’t have come quicker; the week at school had really flown by and it was finally time for your next date; you couldn’t be more excited about going to your favourite coffee shop with your potential next boyfriend. “Yo, ___, have fun on your date, don’t do anything I wouldn’t do, okay?” Taehyung teased. “Oh, shut up.” “Okay, okay. Seriously though, have fun.” “I will. Don’t worry about me.” you told him before hanging up and making your way out the door to meet your date. “Hey, ___.” he smiled as he held open his car door for you. “Sup, Joe.” “You ready for our date?” “More than ready.” you answered before he sped off towards the city centre. “Okay, but like you have to let me pay next time. You can’t keep paying, Joe.” “I don’t mind though.” he softly smiled as he sat down opposite you with an americano in hand. “I do.” you pouted which made him smile gently at you, causing you to blush slightly. That’s all he ever had to do to get you going. “Well, Miss I want to pay next time, what do you want to do today?” “I kinda just wanna chill here, maybe take a walk but nothing too crazy. Is that cool?” “Couldn’t be better.” Time had really flown by and before you knew it you had spent 6 hours with Joe. “I can’t believe it’s already 6pm; I should get you home.” “Oh, uh, I’m not going home tonight. I promised my friend I’d go over to his because our other friend is back for the weekend.” “I’ll drive you.”
“Who the fuck is that guy?” Jungkook muttered as he peered out of Taehyung’s window and saw you with your date who had just dropped you off. “That would be Joe. ____’s current crush and maybe future boyfriend.” “Since when did that happen?” “Since after she told you she liked you and you left.” “Damn.” “Yeah, damn. You fucked up.” “No, I didn’t. We’re both in happy relationships or almost relationships now. Nothing’s wrong.” “Is that why your girlfriend is downstairs having to make small talk with Jimin?” “Shut up, dude. She’s coming in. Let’s go down.” Jungkook said and even though he didn’t say how seeing you with another guy made him feel it was already evident to Taehyung that he was jealous. “Yo, just an fyi, you’re not allowed to act the way you’re acting.” “What? How am I acting?” “Jealous.” “I, what, I am not jealous.” “Sure, you tell yourself that but you have a girlfriend down there waiting for you and she has someone else now so don’t ruin this.”
“Hello kids! I have missed you all!” you stated as you entered Taehyung’s home. “____!” Taehyung yelled as he lunged towards you, pulling you into a big embrace. “I saw you the other day why are you acting like it’s been months?” “Because that’s how it feels.” “Anyway, uh, yeah, hello everyone. Oh, you’re new. I’m ____.” “Sam.” “You’re Sam?” “Yeah, is there a problem?” “No, no, no. Just didn’t expect you to be here.” “___, I told your ass she was coming with Jungkook.” Taehyung whisper shouted at you. “My bad. Where even is Jungkook?” “Jungkook, get your ass over here.” Taehyung whisper shouted as he went towards the guy hiding on the staircase. “___, Jungkook. Jungkook, ___.” “It’s been a while, huh?” you spoke, brushing off the fact that he pretty much fell off the face of the Earth for a few weeks. “Yeah, crazy.” “Anyways, Hazel’s having another party around Valentine’s and you’re all invited! You can have plus ones too. That’s if you have someone you wanna bring.” you teased as you poked all your single friends. “You bringing Joe?” Jimin asked. “He knows about Joe?” Jungkook whispered to Taehyung. “Yeah, everyone does.” “I didn’t!” “You didn’t talk to ___ for weeks, why would you know?” Taehyung replied, leaving Jungkook in a state of shock by the answer. “Of course, Joe’s coming. You can all meet him.” “So, who is this Joe?” Jungkook asked curiously. “He’s this guy from my school and I had spoken to him every now and then before but then the other day we were partnered up and got to know each other a bit and now we’re kind of dating. He’s honestly so amazing.” “Yeah, we’ll see about that.”
Two months had passed and it was finally time for Hazel’s party. You were getting ready at home, putting your black dress on and deciding whether you should wear heels or vans. Then you sent a text to Joe to make sure he was on his way and you couldn’t be more excited to see him and have fun at the party. “Hey, right on time.” “I’m always on time, baby.” “Let’s get going then.” When you made it to the party everyone was already there waiting; you immediately ran to your friends and embraced them, only pulling away to introduce them to Joe. “This is Joe.” you said as you tugged his arm to pull him towards you. “I was expecting more.” “Don’t be mean.” “I’m not! Just honest.” “Shut up.” Jungkook and Taehyung bickered as everyone met Joe. To say he was underwhelming was an understatement. Everyone had expected someone Who is more like a knight in shining armour, not a literal prepubescent appearing teenage boy. “Joe! This is Joe!” Taehyung laughed as he swung his arm around him. “That I am, thanks.” “Joe, do you want a drink or something because I’m going to get some drinks; anyone coming?” Taehyung awkwardly remarked. You could sense the awkwardness in the air and couldn’t help but be disappointed by your friends. They didn’t even know Joe and they were judging him, yeah sure, he was the first guy to say he liked you after Jungkook pretty much crushed you after you angrily confessed to him, but he was a nice guy.
“___, I’m not being funny but you can do better.” Jimin whispered to you as the other’s left. “That’s what Hazel says.” “Are you only with him because of Jungkook? Is he a rebound? Because we all expected a bit more than a noodle.” “Hey, he’s younger than you guys.” “He’s a senior and looks like a noodle. ___, be honest with me. Do you like him?” “He’s nice.” “___.” “He’s really sweet, Jimin.” “___. I’m literally gonna snap your neck if you say that one more time.” “Fine. He was there for me after everything with Jungkook happened. I mean you guys heard the whole thing; it wasn’t exactly fun. But Joe was a shoulder to lean on and was understanding so I guess that’s why I’m with him.” “___, you’re using the poor noodle.” “Stop calling him that.” “Fine, fine. But you should be honest with him and yourself.”
You disappeared to go look for Joe, finding him outside sitting by himself. “Hey, Joe.” “___, can I ask you something?” “Yeah, go ahead.” “Do you actually like me? Or am I coping mechanism?” “Joe, I-I thought I liked you. I really did. You’re a nice guy, you know? But to be honest I think it was only because I needed a shoulder to lean on you and you were there.” “You like that other guy, Jungkook, don’t you?” “I thought I was over him. He has a girlfriend.” “It didn’t seem like he had a girlfriend to me. And it doesn’t seem like you’re over him.” “What do you mean it seemed like he doesn’t have a girlfriend? I met her two months ago.” “___, he literally said that he’s so happy to be single again to Taehyung and he said it whilst looking at you.” “No, he sees me as a friend. Nothing more.” “Whatever it is, you should talk to him properly. You guys have some kind of unfinished business.” “Hey, I’m sorry about this not working out.” “Hey, no biggie. No hard feelings.” “Thank you so much.”
“Jungkook, can we talk?” you asked as you appeared in the kitchen where all of your friends were hanging out. “Huh, ___, are you okay?” he asked as he turned to face you. “Yeah, I just wanna talk.” “Okay, yeah, we can do that. Do you wanna go somewhere quieter?” “Yes, please.” Jungkook took your hand and led you outside right to where Joe was previously sat, by the pool. “What’d ya wanna talk about?” “Uh, Joe and I ended things but he said some things to me that I just want to confirm with you.” “Yeah?” “He said you were single again?” “Oh, he heard that? I was telling Taehyung.” “When did you end things with Sam?” “A month ago.” “You didn’t tell me.” “You didn’t tell me about Joe either.” “Touche.” “Anything else?” “Jungkook, what do you see me as?” you asked, making him freeze up completely. “It’s okay if you don’t say what I’m hoping to hear. Just be honest with me, please?” “___, you know you’ve always meant a lot to me. I was really sad to move away from you but I was so ready to grow up. I thought that if I got a girlfriend whilst at college everything would be great, but whilst being with her I couldn’t stop thinking about you, thinking about how I left you here in this city and how I couldn’t just wake up and text you, asking if you wanted to hang out. It really sucked but I really missed you. Right now I’m not completely sure what’s happening, what’s going on between us, but I know that I’d love to give us a try, if you let me. I know I walked out on you after you told me you liked me, but I had Sam back then; I didn’t know how to react I never thought that you, out of all people, would’ve liked me back; that’s why I got a girlfriend in the first place to get over you and now here we are. I’m sorry.” “No need to be sorry; you’re just an idiot.” you teased. “Do you wanna dance with me? This song’s a slow one.” “I’d love to.” Jungkook took your hand in his, once again, this time leading you to the dance floor, placing his arms around your waist and his forehead against yours. “You really missed me, huh?” “Don’t get cocky on me now, ___.” “I was just asking.” you smiled as the two of you enjoyed the moment a bit more. “Can I kiss you?” “You’re more than welcome to.” you joked as the two of you leaned into each other and locked lips for a short and sweet moment. “I liked that.” he shyly smiled. “If only we had done that sooner.” “Stop ruining the moment. Are you staying over here?” he asked and you shook your head softly, not actually wanting to ruin the moment. “Come back to mine.” “Gladly.” “I’ve missed you.”
a/n: uhh this is like the longest thing ive ever written but uhh i hope you enjoy it!!!!!
“Yoongi, this is for the better of our companies! Besides, we need this kind of publicity!” his father spoke, he had just revealed to Yoongi that he was to be part of a fake relationship for business purposes because apparently his father enjoyed putting money before his own son. “Do you think I’m just a tool for you to use? I already have a girlfriend! What am I supposed to tell her? I’m going to pretend to be in a relationship with someone I can’t stand?” Yoongi complained, he had a long day working at his father’s firm, and this piled onto the stress he was feeling. “Why can’t my brother do this?” “He’s married, everyone knows about his relationship already. And besides, you can have your real girlfriend on the weekends.” “I hate this so damn much. This isn’t how it’s gonna work.” “Tough. You’re meeting your girlfriend tonight.” “Fake girlfriend, father.”
“You’re telling me, I’m supposed to fake being in a relationship with Min Yoongi just for business? Dad, I love you but I’m not a tool you can abuse like this.” you told your father after he slid in the news about you faking a relationship. “But it would give us such great publicity, that’s exactly what we need right now!” “Dad, I’m human too. I can’t pretend to be in love with someone I hate, just so you can get a bit more money.” “That’s why we’re going to be sharing dinner with them tonight!” “You’re missing the point, dad.”
“Mr Min! How have you been?” your dad greeted Yoongi’s in the most cheerful manner, contrasting the look on your face and Yoongi’s. “I’ve been great! I’ll be even better after this deal is sealed!” he joked but everyone knew he was dead serious about it. “Yoongi.” you said, acknowledging his presence. “___.” he replied, not even looking up from his phone. “I don’t want to be here either but will you at least pretend to care?” you told him as you briefly looked over to your father who seemed to be having much more fun than you. “___, I’m already in a relationship. I don’t want to be used as a tool and besides, we hate each other.” Yoongi told you after putting his phone down on the table. “You’re already in a relationship? How could your dad be making you do this?” you asked him, shocked by the news; you almost felt bad for him. “He just thinks I’m a tool. It’s really frustrating, it’s like I’m not even his son. I don’t even know why I’m telling you, out of all people, this.” “___, Yoongi! I see you’re talking!” his dad spoke as he swung his arm around his son’s.
“So, what’d ya say? Seal the deal?” your dad asked you. “No. I don’t wanna do it.” you told him truthfully. “But the publicity!” he replied. “Yoongi is already in a relationship and I don’t want to interfere with that.” you said as you sympathetically looked over at Yoongi. “You told her about your relationship?” his dad asked him, seemingly disappointed. “I wasn’t going to lie to her like how you plan on lying to the public. I know we don’t like each other but I won’t lie.” he muttered. “I don’t care, you’re both doing this.” “Agreed.” “So we had no say in this all along?” you asked, annoyance evident in your tone. “Simply put, no, you had no choice this whole time.” his dad told you. “Well, I’m leaving since you’ve wasted my time on a Friday night.” you dismissed yourself from the table and headed towards the door.
“___, your boyfriend will be picking you up today.” your dad told you over the phone. “First of all, he’s not my real boyfriend. Second of all, I can get myself to work.” “Just let him pick you up.” “Fine, I’ll be waiting for him. He better come fast.” you told your dad before you hung up and finished getting ready. After you were done you patiently waited for Yoongi to come over and pick you up. Five minutes went by before your phone rang. “I’m outside your place.” Yoongi told you and immediately you got up and headed towards his car. “Hey. ” you said as you entered his car. “No need for small talk.” he told you; his dad had forced him to pick you up despite him not wanting to.
“Ah! The happy couple have arrived.” Yoongi’s father spoke, you questioned his choice of words but nonetheless went with it. “Miss ___, your breakfast and coffee.” your assistant smiled as she handed you your food before you entered Yoongi’s father’s office. “Thank you.” “So? How are you two?” he asked while he took a seat in his chair. “Good. Not happy but good. I don’t know about her, though.” Yoongi replied, refusing to even look at his father. “___?” “I agree with him.” “You two still don’t want to do this, huh?” he chuckled. “Why would I? I have a girlfriend, a life outside if this company.” Yoongi snapped, he was already in a bad mood by being forced to pick you up, he had been arguing with his girlfriend all weekend and now this. “___, what do you think?” “I respect that Yoongi is in a relationship and I do feel uncomfortable doing this. I mean we’re just being used by you and my dad for business purposes, we’re your children, not your toys. And if you guys haven’t already realised, we hate each other.” you told him as you unwrapped your sandwich.
“Look, just pretend you’re happy together, especially at important events. You gotta look like you’ve been in love for quite some time.” his dad said but this upset the two of you. “You can’t pretend you’re in love. It’s obvious when you aren’t.” you said. “Agreed.” “Just do it for our companies, goddamnit!” “Not like we have a choice.” Yoongi said before storming out of the office. “I’ll be on my way then.” you told his dad before you, too, left the office. “Miss ___, you have a meeting in your father’s office in 20 minutes, you should start making your way over.” “Don’t worry about it.” “But he said it’s important.” “I said don’t worry about it. I’m not in the mood to see him.”
“___, you’re late.” your dad told you when you entered his office. “What did you want to talk about?” you asked, already bored by what he could possibly speak about. “Your relationship with Yoongi. How is it going?” “Nothing’s happening. It’s a fake relationship, dad.” you replied, rolling your eyes simultaneously. “Well, are you two getting along?” “Do we ever?” you muttered as the door opened and in came another person. “Ah, Yoongi, you made it.” “Let’s get this over and done with, I’m a busy person and I have actual meetings to go to.” he said, he clearly had some stuff to deal with today and you didn’t want to interfere so you held your silence. “So, I don’t know how to tell you this, Yoongi, but your dad and I have decided that you need to end your current relationship.” he awkwardly told him. “What? Dad, you can’t do that.” “Doesn’t matter, it’s already been done. She dumped me just before this ‘meeting’, saying she can’t cope with the idea of me being in a fake relationship.” “Oh, thank God. I mean, I’m sorry but also this’ll be better for us. No real relationships getting in your way.” “Dad, what is wrong with you guys? You just caused a real couple to break up and you’re contempt with it?” “___, chill. It was bound to happen sooner or later. Not like you should care, anyway. Mr ___, if that was all I’ll be on my way.” Yoongi stated before shaking your dad’s hand and leaving the office. “Why can’t you be more like him?” “Don’t. Just don’t.”
Jungkook scenario where he is married and bullies and treats the girl really bad. Please make it super angsty and long. Make the ending fluffy. Add smut if you want. Thanks.
genre: angst??? lil bit of smut
word count: 2.8k (idk if this is as long as you hoped but here it is!)
A/N: I just wanna say that if you are actually being bullied by your partner and being treated badly that’s abusive and you probably should leave them.
Things had been a little complicated since I got married; I mean I didn’t have much of a choice, my parents arranged this whole ordeal and I had to blindly agree but I didn’t realise how bad the guy I married would be to me. I try my best to make light of our situation; I try to be a good wife; I try everything to make him happy but what for? It’s obvious that neither of us would be with each other if we could have picked but this was our life now.
“Hey, uh, Jungkook? I left your breakfast on your table; I’m heading to work now. See you later.” I awkwardly told him from outside his bedroom door. “Whatever.” “You’re welcome.” I sarcastically replied, I was honestly sick of how cold he was towards me, it’s not like I had ever done anything to him. “Can you just go? I don’t need you here.” he told. “Okay, I’ll be on my way.” I said as I rolled my eyes and grabbed my bag and phone. “Who were you talking to?” a quiet but familiar voice spoke, Jungkook was probably on the phone to someone. “Oh, uh, just someone I live with.” “Why don’t you get your own place? You don’t seem to like her very much.” the voice told him. “It’s complicated, Jimin. I can’t.” “Ah, so he’s speaking to Jimin.” I muttered as I left the apartment. Jimin used to be a friend of mine, well, more of an acquaintance. He was really sweet; what was he doing being friends with Jungkook?
I got into my car and drove my way to work; work was kind of an escape from reality for me. I could do what I want and not think about anyone forcing me to do otherwise; I worked in fashion, so I had my fair share of model friends as well as designer friends. “You still with that dude?” my friend, Tori, asked me. We were pretty close considering that we had only met each other a year ago but she was like my work wife. “Well, Tori, I’m kind of married to him!” I laughed, I could joke about it at work but this was the reality I lived in. This was my life. “You should divorce him if you don’t love him.” “I know that, but my parents would be so upset. You should have seen them when I told them I’m going into fashion.” “Oh yeah, mine too, but this is about you! And who you love! You should be married to someone who treats you with love and kindness, not this dickhead who doesn’t seem to actually do anything. Does he even have a job?” she ranted as she measured a piece of silk. “Well, yeah, he’s a university lecturer in something, I don’t really remember what but he’s young and has a phd so that’s what got my parents.” “Young? He’s older than you, ___.” “Yeah, but he’s in his 20s as well.” “Why are you even defending him?” “I don’t know; can we just work now? This is supposed to be my escape from my ever so wonderful husband.”
a/n: just a little smth to help me get back into the flow of writing <3
Prompt: “In another universe, you actually see something special in me.” - @inanotherunivrse
You felt as though you had hit rock bottom; you had fallen pregnant and the father of your child had just walked out of the door. You had met him in a picturesque garden and from the beginning it seemed too dreamlike to be reality:
“I’m sorry, I wasn’t looking where I was going.” you smiled before attempting walk past the stranger. “Hey, don’t worry about it. Just tell me your name to make up for it.” he chuckled, causing you to turn around and face him. “I’m ___, you are?” “Yoongi, Min Yoongi.” he smiled. “What are you doing here?” you asked him. “Same thing as you. Taking in the view of these flowers and plants and whatnot.” “How do you know that’s why I’m here?” you questioned. “That’s the only reason you could be here, you don’t have anything on you so you can’t be here for any other reason.” “You got me!”
“So, are you single?” Yoongi asked you as the two of you sat down on a nearby bench. “How forward. But yeah, I am.” you told him. “What a coincidence! So am I!” he joked. “Do you tend to flirt with people you meet at pretty gardens?” “Only when they’re as pretty as the garden itself.” he smirked as he placed a hand on your thigh and looked deeply into your eyes. “Damn, you’re smooth.” you laughed. “You’ve never met someone as smooth as me?” “No, most guys jump straight to the ‘you wanna fuck?’ before I actually learn their names.” “Ah, the homo sapien males are really something else. Well, for the record, I’ll only ask that once I get to know you and you know, if you want to.” he smiled. “Sorry, I just can’t get over how smooth you are.” “You’re making it out to be a bad thing!” “It’s not! I’m just not used to it from anyone.” “Are you used to people asking you on dates? Cuz that’s what I wanna do next.” “Go on then.” “___, will you grab a coffee with me?” “I’d love to.”
And here you were, crying in front of the man who claimed to love you but failed to ever show it. “Why are you crying?” Yoongi asked softly. “You know why; it’s because you don’t fucking care about me or anyone else. If I was someone else, maybe you would’ve loved me as much as I love you.” “Don’t you fucking dare! I love you-” “Then why did you fucking leave? Why did you leave me? If you loved me, you would’ve tried!” “___, how can I get it into your head that I didn’t leave you! I’m not that kind of guy anymore! I don’t run around stealing hearts and breaking them!”
“Then why did you do that to mine? You know in another universe, you actually see something special in me!” you told him, as tears streamed down your face. “I just needed fucking time to process everything, okay? A child is a fucking big commitment and I freaked out! And don’t you dare suggest that I don’t see something special in you; you’re my fucking world; I can’t even begin to explain how much my stupid ass loves you. You’ve made me a better man and you’re the person I’ve truly fallen in love with and I hate that I’ve made you cry this much.” “It just hurt so much to see you walk out the door; I thought I’d have to raise this child on my own and I’m not ready for that.” “I would never make you raise our child on your own, I’ve done some horrible things in my life but I would never do that to you. Not when I’m so goddamn in love with you.”
Hi:) can you do a scenario where a girl is friends with all of bts and swears like a sailor, but one of them like her(you pick). Btw I love your writing and I was just so satisfied with my last request I had to do another
Hello, can you help me with a Namjoon angst-fluff based on Selena Gomez's Sober? Happy ending pls. Thanks :)))
@thedawnsky
genre: angst? fluff?? i mean barely
word count: 1.5k
a/n: i combined two requests, i hope thats cool :D
We fall for each other at the wrong time
Only for a moment, but I don't mind
You had your whole life sorted out, finally. You had a decent career, a nice place to stay and a cute dog; the only thing you didn’t have was a partner but that didn’t bother you so badly. Every person that you had been with had an issue with how much you swore but you thought you were just extremely expressive with your words. Currently, there was someone you liked but you knew nothing would become of it because they timing wasn’t right; he was at the height of his career whilst yours was kind of just getting started but you didn’t mind; they two of you could be just friends.
Guess I don't know where to draw the line, the line, the line
And we'll play the same game every night
“___, you need to stop swearing! This isn’t a mixtape; it’s a conversation between friends!” Seokjin laughed as you ranted about something that happened at work. “You don’t understand! This fucking guy was being an absolute shithead; he pushed me out of the bloody way when I was clearly in the queue to use the printer.” you pouted. “That was a colourful sentence.” Namjoon chuckled as he took a sip of his drink. “Come, you can tell me what else he did.” he added as he signed for you to come over to him. “Namjoon, there’s nowhere to sit.” “Here.” he spoke as he nonchalantly offered his lap as a seat. “Okay, as I was saying this fucking guy pushed me in the queue and later that day he had the audacity to jump the fucking lunch queue as well. If I wasn’t such a nice person he’d be on the fucking ground.” you passionately ranted as Namjoon wrapped his arm around your waist. “Mhm. Maybe you should just show him a taste of his own medicine.” he calmly spoke. “That’s my a bad idea.” you smiled as you wrapped your arms around Namjoon, out of gratitude.
Up in the clouds
Yeah, you know how to make me want you
When we come down
Oh I know, yeah I know, it's over
The boys had arrived at your company’s launch party for a new product and the press went wild, not knowing that BTS were going to be guests at the party. “Hey, you made it! Here’s some champagne.” you smiled as you ushered them into the club where the party was being hosted. “You look good.” Namjoon smiled as you led the group to a booth. “Thank you; this dress cost a fortune.” you giggled. “Well, this is your booth. If you want drinks, you can just order them. I have to quickly tend to some other guests but I’ll be right back.”
“Let’s order as some soju and beer!” Jimin suggested. “I don’t wanna. I want a coke.” Taehyung smiled. “Okay, soju, beer and a coke?” Yoongi asked before leaving the booth to get the drinks. “Are you ever gonna tell ___ how much you like her?” Seokjin whispered to Namjoon. “You know I want to but the time’s not right.” “It never seems to be right.” he said, annoyed at Namjoon’s constant insistence that it wasn’t the right time. None of the members knew about your crush on Namjoon; you had never explicitly told them but they had probably figured it out. “Did someone order soju, beer, a coke and ___?” Yoongi chuckled as you helped him bring the drinks back to the booth. “I’m back! All today’s guests are in. Lemme squeeze in next to you, Nams.” you smiled. “Uh, ___, what is this party actually for?” Jungkook asked. “Oh, it’s for this perfume that we’re launching; it’s unisex I think; that’s why you probably why you guys got invited.” “___, you’re barely swearing.” Seokjin teased. “I don’t think you realised but my boss is here.” you chuckled as you took a shot of soju. It only took you four to get you really tipsy so you were being careful, as you were technically at work.
You were called away for a while but when you returned everyone was on the dancefloor except Namjoon. “Hey, come dance with me.” you softly spoke as you took his hand in yours. “Everyone’s on the dancefloor except you, Namjoon.” you added. “Okay, okay. Gimme a moment.” he smiled before taking a shot of soju. His heart rate was increasing and not just because of the alcohol; the fact that the two of you were alone and you wanted him was getting him all nervous. You blamed the slight shift in confidence on the alcohol, as you wouldn’t have told him that you wanted to share a dance with him if you were sober; you would’ve just waited for him to come to the dancefloor. When the two of you reached the dancefloor, he wrapped his arms around your waist; you wrapped yours around his neck and your foreheads touched each others; the moment was extremely intimate despite the upbeat music and atmosphere. “You make me want you so badly, ___.” he spoke. “And you.” you giggled. “No, baby, I’m serious, you drive me absolutely wild. I want you, I want your body, everything.” he told you as one of his hands lowered to grab your ass. “Can I kiss you, baby?” he smirked, waiting for a response from you. “You’re always welcome to.” you told him before leaning in to place your lips on his. Namjoon deepened the kiss, leaning into you further and groping you harder and it felt like fireworks had gone off between the two of you; but that’s all that happened.
You don't know how to love me when you're sober
When the bottle's done you pull me closer
And you're saying all the things that you're supposed to
But you don't know how to love me when you're sober
“So, you’re telling me you kissed her last night but then left? Are you crazy?” Seokjin frustratedly spoke. “I panicked; I didn’t know if she really wanted it. We were both drunk and I didn’t want to take advantage of her.” “She might think you just used her now, Namjoon.” “I didn’t even consider that, fuck.” “You two should really talk. Everyone with eyes can see how attracted you are to each other.”
“You mean, you guys made out but then he just left?” your best friend asked you. “Yeah, I don’t get why. I thought ‘okay maybe something’s gonna happen’ but the fucking dude just left. Maybe he was just really drunk? Like shitfaced.” you said as you paced back and forth in your kitchen. “___, everyone in the world knows that he has the hots for you but maybe he got nervous? That could’ve happened or maybe his junior made an appearance.” she joked, bursting into a laughing fit. “This isn’t fucking funny! I was literally there; if his junior did make an appearance I could’ve fixed that.” “Someone’s eager. C’mon like you wouldn’t offer to help the person you’re into get off?” “I’m ace, ___.” “Shit, I forgot, sorry.” “No, it’s okay. I know what you mean though. You wanna, I don’t know, make him feel good in that way but then you don’t just want everything to just be sex; you want the romance too.” “That is exactly how I fucking feel.” “You guys should probably talk.” “I don’t know; he’s just so different sober; he’s never made advances on me or shown that he’s liked me in any kind of way. Maybe it really was just alcohol.” you considered. “___, just talk to him.”
8:35pm [no.1 ryan stan:] hey, can we meet somewhere? i wanna talk
8:37pm [you:] yeah, send me the place and ill be there asap
8:39pm [no.1 ryan stan:] your favourite cafe
8:40pm [you:] be there in 10
“You wanted to meet?” you smiled when you found Namjoon sitting in the corner of your favourite cafe; a place where the two of you frequented. “Yeah, about the other night.” “Oh, uh, if that was a one time thing I totally understan-” “No, ___, that was not a one time thing, at least I didn’t think it was. Did you?...” “No, of course not, but I don’t really know what it was.” you awkwardly told him. “Well, uh, I know we were both kind of really drunk but I genuinely do have feelings for you, ___.” he softly smiled. “Even though I swear like a sailor?” “Even though you swear like a sailor.” he chuckled. “Well, Kim Namjoon, I really like you as well and uh, it would be great if I could get a sober kiss.” “Okay, since no one’s around.” he laughed before leaning in to kiss you for a second time; this time however, the two of you were sober. “I liked that.” you bashfully said. “Well, how about I take you on a date sometime and we kiss again?” he spoke, cringing after realising what he said. “I’d really love that.”
