The national guard have been deployed. There are reports on the ground that they are specifically focusing right now on the area around where murder occurred this morning (Nicollet and 26th) .

Community organizers seem to be concerned that we can’t rule out armed conflict between the National Guard and ICE, or between either of these parties and civilians. So PLEASE excise caution while traveling to or through that area today. There is already been excessive use of teargas and similar chemical weapons in the area.

If you or a loved one was impacted by the chemical weapons, head up just north of 26th to the Copper Hen. They’re offering space and support to folks that need them in the area.
