Maleko looked over his shoulder at the scream his sister let out, immediately on alert and looking for any other sign of another person. She wanted him to let this piece of shit go? It was taking every fiber of his being to not break a few more bones. He huffed, looking to her eyes and noticing the tears that they held. “Okay.” He nodded his head, relaxing a bit. He didn’t want to make his sister fear him. “Okay.” He repeated, calmer this time as he slowly rose to his full height. “We’ll go.” He spit down at the man before stepping over him.Â
“Give her a thank you for saving your pathetic excuse of a life.” He sneered at the man on the floor. “You got lucky today, you might not get so lucky next time.” Maleko threatened. He had several connections and he would have them watching out for this man. If they saw him trying this kind of stuff with another woman- or person in general, they would take care of him for Maleko.Â
“Okay, lets go.” Maleko spoke, touching his fingers to Isabella’s elbow. “I’ll walk you home.” This was not how he wanted to meet his sister in person, nor the first impression he wanted to give. But, what’s done is done and there is nothing he can do about it but make sure that she was safe.
