I’ve been holding on to this for a while. In… September? I was having a Really Bad Time. So I ended up making this comic to sort of… sort through some stuff. It really helped.
I hope maybe it can resonate with other people, too.
Reblogs would be very appreciated, so more people can see it <3
Not to pile on here, but this doesn’t look exactly promising.
It means every art blog would have to go through every post one by one and appeal individual flagged posts as not to lose content. Seems unlikely.
How the algorithm is designed to flag abstract art as obscene is beyond my understanding.
Look at this crazy shit. As soon as Tumblr mentioned “algorithms” this was bound to happen. In a newsletter ages ago, Warren Ellis mentioned that all of us should work to own our content and consider going back to individual blogs and feeds and what not. I’m guessing Tumblr is forcing our hand.
Not that I had a ton of followers (hi everyone!) but so be it.
It’s Black Friday O’Clock. InPRNT is offering free shipping at $45, so I'm sweetening the pot with 25% off. Use DZAB4UY at checkout! Get that wall art! GET IT!

Sled dog sketches for The Unfound. Thank goodness this comic has no horses. But it has a lot of dogs. At least dogs are easier to draw then horses.

Seems like a fitting image to end the series with. I achieved my goal of getting better line control and flexing some design muscles. Already looking forward to next year, but for now I’ll work on carrying the momentum through.
Thanks for the likes and follows this month. Hang around for more art!
