2 years... not only that long since the show but since I started this art project.
In that time, I have learned so much when it comes to digital art. About blending, lighting, shadows, skin tones, and how to make flower stamps, a pen for Michonne's dress pattern (literally found the dress they used and copied the pattern), its been a journey just as its been for The Grimes family reunion. I will be making this art a sticker, maybe. We will see.

I usually don’t like posting older sketches, but I just finished this new one and wanted to compare it to the version I tried to draw two months ago before I start adding the shadows.
There’s still a long way to go, but ngl I’m quietly proud of the progress — and it’s nice to see that drawing every day is starting to pay off a little.

Injured College student in need of urgent help!
Hello! My name is iiya and I am in a really tough spot right now. I am 19 years old and when I was 17 I officially moved out of my parents house. I needed to get away from the emotional abuse that I was facing from my father. I lived with a friend for a while but then I met somebody really amazing and we moved in together. I haven't had a steady job since I was 18 but I was always able to somewhat provide for myself. I am very passionate about my pursuits, which right now is college, full time studying for a bachelor's in biology. it has been really hard to balance this with work but unfortunately something stopped me. One day when I was working for Chipotle I hit my arm in a freezer and I thought it was nothing until a week went by and my shoulder was in incredible pain. Fast forward a couple months, I get an MRI and I find out I have an inflamed bursa. I also have the companies insurance company doing a really bad job getting me any help. I start physical therapy but then after a couple visits they don't respond to me and I have to get a lawyer involved and unfortunately everything just got way drawn out. I got a new job because Chipotle was giving me unlivable hours because of my injury and the new job was able to pay more and I told myself that I was just going to suck it up and just work through the pain, but it really became unbearable and I told my bosses. They told me that they couldn't provide my accommodations for my injury which are lifting less than 5 lbs and that I'd still have a job with them but I couldn't work until I was better. Since then I've been trying to apply for other jobs that require less arm movement but even being on my phone and playing games hurts my arm. I am making this Tumblr account to make some money off of commissions because I can't pay my rent in full this month, or for the near future. I'm not the greatest artist honestly and I have a lot of room to improve but I am willing to dedicate as much time as I can for people to enjoy my art and also help me out well with my financial situation and my own skills. My college classes are almost done and I have really good grades so I'm definitely passing this semester but I don't know if I'll be able to pass in the eyes of my landlord. So my prices will be pretty cheap cuz I know that I'm not a really good artist but I love My Little pony and I love creating my own characters that I'd love to draw anybody as a pony or as a human I think I'm better at drawing ponies than I am with the anatomy that comes with humans but like I said I'm happy to draw whatever and expand my skills and get better because drawing is a hobby that I do love and find myself having less and less time to contribute to things that I love. I'm speaking this all out through the microphone on my tablet so I hope that it comes out well and I hope that my art is sufficient enough to hopefully make some funds and also make people happy. Thank you so much for listening and reading and I will post examples of my art so you can decide if you'd like to support me or not and I hope you do but I understand I'm not a super good artist so thank you again.
