I just want to surround myself with beautiful things. Colorful rugs and pretty teacups and soft places to sleep. A shelf full of books and a desk with candles. Flowers on my table, dresses in my wardrobe.
My green thumb came only as a result of the mistakes I made while learning to see things from the plants point of view.

Both boys sleeping in the backseat and I'm still trying to get my head around the fact that I'm now a mother to multiple humans. It's like when I was younger and used to wonder why I didn't feel any different on my birthdays. Shouldn't I feel more grown now?? I just feel dumber and more intimidated by the immensity of this life. I guess maybe that's adulthood?

I’m so….FUCKIN hype for autumn……I’m so fcuking ready…..I can already smell the dead leaves and feel the cold wind and see the pumpkins on my windowsill like…….the little ones the mini ones y'all know what I’m talking about…I can’t wait to walk outside and not immediately drown in my own underboob sweat….I can already smell the hot chocolate
I had a dream that I had two more babies in the past few weeks since Atlas was born, another boy and a girl. I was freaking out because I couldn't remember the second birthday and we didn't have a girls' name picked out. Someone called her Muriel. Three babies is too many for me.
Mom: You have to know your limits and let us know when you need to go back and take a break
Me: Okay... *packs up our things to go home tonight* Done! Now I need a three hour nap.
(My postpartum limitations are fucking killing me. I don't feel like I'm doing much of anything, yet I'm still struggling to heal.)
