not to be dramatic... but every time you let AI decide something for you, you're giving away your free will, and you lose a little bit of sovereignty over your body and mind
the prince has begun practicing curtseying in the mirror. which could mean nothing.
we have good news and bad news, my liege. the good news is that we now know what that curtsying was about: you will be pleased to know that, after several heartfelt conversations between your child, the court jesters and a myriad of singing woodland creatures, you are now the parent of a proud and joyful new princess. the bad news is that, due to a series of events related to the dragon-sized hole in her bedchamber wall,
I love the insinuation that the second the princess realized she was a girl and thus actually a princess, the dragon was there. That thing wasted no time. It heard "princess" and was like "I need no further invitation, here I come."
Gender affirmed by Dragon. Amazing.
pretty sure you’re literally the only person who understood my vision on this accursed post
RIP to everyone killed by the gods for their hubris but im different. and better. maybe even better than the gods
I've failed to read rooms I was alone in
Work chapstick. Car chapstick. Nightstand chapstick. Bathroom chapstick. Jacket pocket chapstick.Bag chapstick. You have to be prepared.
problem: feeling listless
solution: make a list?
saying cats don't contribute to the household is slander: they do have a job and it's going into mystery crevices and collecting all the cobwebs on their stupid little head
chase me if you must, but i’ll be the one to capture you
Silksong (2025) is the long awaited sequel to the popular indie metroidvania Hollow Knight. In it, the player follows the half-god protagonist Hornet as she answers the question, “What if spiders invented Catholicism?” The answer may shock you.
Just closed another show as Stage Manager. Saw a post on Facebook from one of the actors that was very heartfelt. It mentioned every single actor and named something sweet and specific about them. And said nothing about me. And I get it. Technicians, crew, designers, stage managers, we don’t get the public accolades and the attention. That’s fine. I’m struggling to put into words why this specifically hurt though. It’s not the lack of attention. It’s that it felt like deliberate exclusion. It was a very small and tight knit cast that went through some stuff. But I was there too. I was at every rehearsal and performance, I gave actors rides home, I comforted them after a tough day, I covered their line flubs with creative cue calling, I got there early and stated late, I did their laundry, I made sure everyone’s needs and feelings were considered and taken care of, I even recommended this specific actor for the role. And to not even get a mention on a social media post. The easiest, least effort thing in the world. I don’t know. Just …. feeling under appreciated I guess.
My dream job is to run a cozy little bookshop, but without worrying about having to succeed as a small business. So basically a money laundering front where I get to read
“Cats don’t actually love you”
A cat is a small creature in the middle of the food chain that is fully aware that you are a very large thing that could stomp its head in at any moment and yet it chooses to rest its tiny little head on your leg for a nap and spreads out on the floor near you exposing its belly and its most sensitive organs. It brings dead mice and bugs to you to share food.
Don’t you get it? This tiny thing trusts you. It wants to help you too. It licks your leg thinking that it’s helping. It kneads on you to find comfort. It shares its body warmth with you in the cold and gives you your space in the heat. It hisses at other mammals it sees outside including other cats in an effort to protect its family.
Cats love you so so much. But they will keep trying to eat plastic.
