Valhalla (Valhǫll) is where all men who died with honour in battle go to until Ragnarǫk, the Fate of the Gods in Norse mythology. This golden fortress is Ódin’s hall. Reaching Valhalla was a goal for most Norse warriors and was also called the ‘Viking Heaven.’ When men died in the midst of battle on Earth, the Valkyries would come for them and bring them to Valhalla for the last battle. They would be made immortal and trained against each other for the whole day. At the end of the day, those wounded would be healed and those who fought would part as friends. By night drank they mead and sang to Ódin. They were known as Einherjar.

The Evermore Grimoire: Beings

The Charmed Ones are a prophesied sisterhood of three (later four) witches who descend from the Warren line of witches. They are known as the most powerful witches ever to walk the Earth and are dedicated to protecting the innocent and ridding the world of evil. Each Charmed One has one specific power inherited from their ancestor, Melinda Warren; the prophecy states that the eldest has the power to move things with her mind, the middle sister can freeze time, and the youngest can see into the future. The magical bond between these sisters is known as ‘The Power of Three’ and is said to be the strongest form of magic in the world. It is represented by the ancient symbol called the Triquetra. Although the prophecy speaks only of three sisters, there is a fourth one. After the death of Prue, the Power of Three was temporarily broken before the Halliwells’ long lost half-sister, Paige, was revealed. She received her powers and joined Piper and Phoebe, taking Prue’s place in the Power of Three and reconstituting the Charmed Ones.

I mean I hate to be the one to break this to you, but everything in space, including the sun, is moving through space. Very quickly, actually. The earth orbits the sun at 64,000 miles per hour, sun orbits the center of the Milky Way galaxy at 500,000 miles per hour, and the Milky Way galaxy itself is moving through space at roughly 1.3 million miles per hour.

Well since it’s now tomorrow I might as well answer your question about where the Milky Way is going. Really, there’s two different answers, a short and a long answer. The first, and shorter explanation, is that the Milky Way is heading towards our nearest galactic neighbor, the andromeda galaxy, and the two galaxies will collide within the next couple billion years. The second and much longer answer is that the Milky Way is apart of what’s called a “cluster” of galaxies. Basically, all the galaxies that are near ours. And this cluster is part of an even bigger cluster, called a “supercluster”. Superclusters are some of the largest structures in the universe, they stretch for hundreds of millions of light years and encompass hundreds of thousands of different galaxies. Our galaxy is slowly orbiting the general center of what’s called the Virgo supercluster, guided along by the gravitational pull of the galaxies around us and the structure of the universe itself.

I know y’all think Ryan clowned next to Blake but let me just say

I will argue that he was just as if not more on theme than her. He’s so far one of only a few men to actually wear a period appropriate suit that is to the dress code required!!

White tie events are the most formal events in Western/British culture and you bet ur ass the Met Gala is a white tie event— yet men rarely dress to this level because it isn’t what the general public wants or is aware of.

Not only that but his suit is mid-gilded age. The styling of the waistcoat with the pocket watch, the lapel and shoulder cut, the only modern aspects of it are the collar of his shirt and the lack of buttons on his jacket (but then again he’s allowed some personal taste).

In accordance with white tie formal, his suit is black but the material adds even more glamour, black velvet. Most men do just the front of the jacket and some silk or wool on the back/lapel with maybe their pants being the same (often cheaper). But his WHOLE SUIT is black velvet. Of course this prevents a nice front pleat that’s common in white tie suits, but due to the luxurious nature of velvet it is worth it because it comes off as even more extravagant and tasteful, a seamless transition from top to bottom (which a lot of suits struggle with)

And finally, a semi gloss black saddle boot with a tasteful gold wrist watch add enough luxury in a whispering way— making a lovely contrast to Blakes outfit.

He’s not dressed in competition with her, but rather in compliment. His suit is a warm black, which works beautifully with Blake’s color pallet, and the way velvet reflects light prevents any unwanted reflective shimmers from Blake so every photo together will look good and flattering. He’s her arm candy, in a way, by being well-dressed and complimentary without demanding equal attention. Because Blake lively is known for her Met Gala looks, and that is clearly important to her, so he supports her enthusiasm by simply being a perfect pair.
