about the 2004 version of poto

i hate how much people invalidate the 2004 movie. the production is amazing, the costumes are PERFECT and the cast is incredibly talented.

gerard as erik was incredible and sensitive and could feel all the pain of abandonment, suffering and anguish the character passed.

and i love how emmy made a beautiful, strong and talented christine and still has the touch of “youthful innocence” as described in the book.

the film is as valid as any of the versions of the musical.

IF YOU CAN’T APPRECIATE THIS MASTERPIECE I’M REALLY SORRY FOR YOU.

I’m alive, I swear!

I’m still around! Just been dealing with a lot of health issues. Let me just say that high blood pressure is not a joke. I’ve been on meds for a while now and had no idea my script had stopped working and found out the hard way that I needed a new medication. I’m adjusting to my new medicine slowly, but guys, take your blood pressure, even if you think you’re healthy. 

I’m currently without a PC at home, but I’ve started working on the sequel to AEOT. I’m going to make a trilogy of it, with the second installment focusing on Erik and Genn’s life after the birth of their child and the third book set some twenty years in the future and based around their now grown child.

IT IS READY!

For perhaps the first time ever, ALL the PotO San Francisco Music Box pieces (along with musical items from many other different companies) are available to view all in one place! I’ve also added information such as UPCs, production dates, titles, and which tune each piece plays. I’m still working on narrowing down certain dates (namely, to determine when the production shifted from the retro-style snowglobes to actual figurines), but on the whole it’s a far better archive than has been available previously.

PLEASE CHECK IT OUT, IT WAS A TON OF WORK!

I hadn’t checked my reviews on An Eternity of This in a while. I know it’s hard to leave them on Amazon because of their rules, but I decided to check today and it really made my day. I feel so humbled and happy that people are enjoying what I’ve written. Maybe I’ll be able to get out of my funk soon and write some more!

Hopping on @timebird84‘s challenge. I’ll be honest, I don’t have a physical copy of Leroux’s book. I had almost ten several years ago and a flooded garage destroyed them and a lot of my other phantom collection. I have a digital version, but I *do* still have my very beloved paperback version of Kay’s Phantom with the gorgeous interior artwork!
