genuine question for anyone who has read the realm of the elderling series! I just started the series because I had heard about fitz and the fool a bunch and I was interested in them and a super expansive fantasy world, I went into it knowing that they probably weren’t canon and they had a homoerotic friendship of sorts. HOWEVER I just saw someone say that it’s unrequited and I don’t wanna go looking for spoilers, but can anyone let me know if it is genuinely unrequited love and one of the characters gets rejected or something because I need to know if it’s worth it to get invested in this ship if it ends up being some unrequited BS lmao
