Found these two things today. Anyway Mexico is cool and reblog with other additions if you see them
Reminder: these are not wild fires. They were set on purpose by the Brazilian goverment.
It's great that other countries are doing something but please keep in mind that the Brazilian goverment has to be held accountable for the damage they have done even after this crisis is resolved.
I found the original tweet of those screenshots. But Iām also waiting this to be covered online so I can share the link on my social media.
Is there any coverage of Mexicoās aid?
And of course are cheese doodle president tweeted that the us will give aid.
Guys, I have some... not-so-bright news about those photos featured on the tweet. These photos are not recent.
So old photos of fires and the Amazon has been spreading around.
These are the photos featured on the Tweet that seemingly reported on Mexico aiding the rainforest as well as the return of rain.Ā I used some basic journalism training to inverse-search the images that were featured on this tweet.
Itās a bit difficult to tell how old this photo is and what it dates back to. I have been seeing this one on recent August 2019 posts.
This photo appeared in a 2018 blog post regarding a documentary.
This plane image appeared from an article that dates back to 2011.
And what the search result yielded doesnāt suggest that these photos capture the most current events. So I donāt know for sure if Mexico really is confirmed to be sending help or that itās raining again in the Amazon, BUT I know 2 out of 3 of those photos on that Tweet do not represent the current events.Ā
And circulating old photos associated with current events is not uncommon and unfortunately misleading. Read Fact-Checking Articles that delve into aged photos being used to represent the current events.
-Ā āMadonna, Leonardo DiCaprio, Cristiano Ronaldo and Emmanuel Macron didnāt fact-check before posting images about the Amazon firesā
-Ā āFire in BrazilRains in the Amazon? No, itās āfake newsāā
I made this myself and I hope youāre PROUD
In the Netherlands, abortion is legal. There is however one pro life organization called Stichting Schreeuw Om Leven. But instead of harrassing women who are on their way to the abortion clinic and make them feel miserable, they offer them HELP.
If a woman wants to get an abortion because she is financially unable to give birth to and raise a baby, the organization will pay for everything she needs during the pregnancy and after, until sheās financially stable to raise the baby on her own.
This organization wonāt stop women from going to the abortion clinic, but would rather hve a healthy conversation with them. Ask them if they can help her with anything in order for them to keep the baby. They also hand out contraception in the streets for those who canāt afford it.
Women donāt get abortions just because they want to. There are reasons why. This organization doesnāt fight abortion, it fights the reasons why women get abortions. Take notes America.
America doesnāt WANT to take notes. Anti-abortion in America isnāt about actually preventing abortions itās about controlling women. Thatās it. Thatās all it is.

How To Be Consistent
1. Progress - the best motivation. Taking action is the key to being consistent because actions create progress and progress becomes addictive. In order to keep the needle of progress moving forward we have to continue taking action.
2. Diet - being mindful of what we feed ourselves. The subconscious mind is a bank vault -Ā we can only withdraw what we deposit. We must feed ourselves the fuel that will encourage us to continue, rather than mindless content that aims to distract.
3. Breaks - refreshing the mind. Often times we can feel hesitant to continue because weāveĀ āhit a wallā. These walls only exist in the mind and can be knocked down by taking breaks and coming back with a fresh pair of eyes.
4. Distractions - things we donāt need to be doing. Removing distractions such as negative people, television & meaningless conversation gives us a lot more time on our hands to invest in what we love.
5. Tribe - surrounding ourselves with doers. Investing our time with others who are taking action on their dreams will inspire us to do the same - we become the average of the people we spend the most time with.
6. Passion - loving what we do. Itās pretty hard to stay consistent without burning out if we donāt enjoy what weāre doing. When we are doing what we love we look forward to doing it and consistency comes naturally.
7. Knowledge - being a curious student of life. The more we learn about our craft the more we improve, when we think weāve learned all we can we become complacent and this encourages laziness.
8. Vision - knowing where weāre going.Ā Having an idea of what our finish line looks like gives us a target to aim for and reminds us that we need to take action regularly to hit the bullseye.
Consistency comes from taking action every day.
Peace & positive vibes.

I actually laughed out loud.
Being emotional without being negative, hateful, or needy ā is a spiritual art.

So I used to have a Russian friend who had a pretty thick accent and like a lot of Russians tended to eschew articles. She would say things like āGet in car.ā And stuff.
Well one day this asshole who had been kind of tagging along with us asks her why she talks like that because it makes her sound dumb and I still remember her response word for word.
āMe? Dumb? Maybe in America you have to say get in THE car because you are so stupid that people might just get in random car, but in Russia we donāt need to say that. We just fucking know because we are not stupid.ā
One time I was proof reading a paper for a Russian student. As I was correcting her paper with her, the many mistakes in her grammar started weighing on her. I asked her what was wrong, and she said, almost sobbing,
āIn Russian I am so intelligent and clear. In English I am like [an] idiotā
Respect to anyone trying to master a foreign language. I get so sad thinking about that student.
