I need help finding a comic/short story thatâs been on my mind for YEARS, so much so Iâve made a DnD character based around this comic I can no longer find and really wish I could show my friends the inspiration for her!
It was a black and white comic, little to no gray
A girl walking in nightwear through a palace.
Sheâs talking about how sheâs always been told sheâs beautiful
And she stops at large portrait of her mother and father
Holding a candle to view it as the large frame comes into view.
She talks about how if she was beautiful, then why doesnât she look like her mother? Her mother is beautiful, why doesnât she hide like the princess has to?
And then we finally see the princessâs face and how she has scaled hands and feet that glimmer in the candle light
She thinks about how sheâs been told her scales are beautiful, so beautiful they must be hidden from the public.
