they not ready for it, anon. labelling basic feminism as terf rhetoric is so dangerous because it kind of helps to normalize transexclusionary radical feminism, which is honestly an otherwise niche and extreme ideology that most people wouldn’t fall into. when a milquetoast and baby feminist take isn’t safe to express, what’s left? if you’re young and impressionable and your reasonable view is said to be part of TERF ideology, where will that leave you?

Hey, I know I’m about to sound like a grumpy adult, but seriously, put away the tech for a certain amount of time each day.

When I was getting all my entertainment from my phone and TV, I was miserable. And I didn’t even realize that was contributing! It wasn’t until I decided to set aside an hour each day to read a book I’d been attempting to finish for months that I made the connection.

After about a week of sticking to Daily Luddite Hour my mood vastly improved. I no longer felt an ever looming sense of dread. And now it’s much easier to step away when I find it all gets too overwhelming.
