And Chat keeps unintentionally escalating it as well, like Ladybug yells at him to go protect a room where she thinks Adrien is hiding and instead he runs in the opposite direction (because he knows the room is empty) and LB is just so mad at him about it for like a week, āChat how COULD youā and Chatā¦ canāt even really say anything, because he shouldnāt have known the room was empty, so he tries to play it off as a joke like, āAdrien does fencing Iām sure he wouldāve been fineā LB: āCHAT HOW CAN YOU SAY THATā
And like, theory boards BLOW UP with this. Some people think Chat is a model who resents Adrien for the competition, some people think that Chat just has a bone to pick with celebrities, some people like Alya notice the similarity in their appearances and words like āsecret twinā and āestranged Agreste brotherā get thrown around until half the people on the internet are convinced Chat is the long lost evil son of the Agreste family trying to redeem himself for some kind of heinous crime
Eventually Chat just accepts this is happening and rolls with it, he sets up a public Snapchat account specifically to take photos of Adrien billboards and add sarcastic captions and just accepts the whole thing as his new brand, yes #AdrienAgresteIsABastard whoās with me
