This is big Bertha. She wasn’t already this big. In fact when she was small in size, I named her Big Bertha. Eventually she had an off spring and it’s still alive waiting to be placed in soil. She got bigger and I was happy and excited but I didn’t know she would sprout this many leaves much less a flower stem. When I got closer to her I noticed this amazing smell. It for some reason reminds me of Jasmine but certainly not as strong. I was suppose to trim her down and propagate the new cutting to get roots but I have honestly been lazy and forgetful. Quite honestly I don’t want to cut her leaves because she beautiful m. I’m proud of the care I’ve given her and also what she has taught me. She is my first real plant that I’ve taken care of since I got her roots and all. Oh yeah that baby aloe next to her. Mr. Aloe is in my bathroom waiting to be transplanted to a smaller pot.

God’s promises tell us what He will do, but not when He will do it. Very often we lose patience and do things our way, like Abraham we may be pressurized into taking shortcuts, or like Moses we may take matters into our own hands. Our actions have consequences. Joseph, on the other hand, waited patiently and saw God’s promise fulfilled in His life. Though the testing was severe for Joseph, the reward was astounding.

Wait patiently; you will see God’s promises coming to fruition. Don’t rush, Jesus will make all things beautiful in its time.
