Okay I've been procrastinating a LOT and I know it's almost going to be may but here's a crumb of that one project based on the fall:

1. Wip book cover for wattpad taken in the most butt-fucking worst quality of my Samsung tablet

2. A small sneek peek of the story description on wattpad even though I should have finished at least one chapter already

Also here's some random picrews I have of both may and pumpkin from way too long ago so you might notice a few small headcanon details that are outdated(feat my lazy enterpatation(?) of a human pumpkin)

IIII have a small treat prepared for those who are interested about the may bird into the unknown au!

Although I'm not done with writing the fanfic I didn't want to leave you guys with nothing so here's a Spotify playlist I've curated for ya'll to keep you occupied until the release of the fic when ever that may be.

I think that's it?idk.If all fails just look up the play list name "may bird into the unknown" and I'm sure it'll be there,the curator name might be "idk" because I didn't care much when I made my account but that's the real one.

Anyway I chose the songs depending on genre,instrumental type and overall relevance to both may bird and otgw along with its characters.there is at least one or two honorably mentioned songs since they're a bit too modern to fit with either but one of them has a good reason to be there because it was featured in a otgw animatic I really liked and I felt the lyrics resonated with may bird as well(if you know which one I'm talking about your so awesome sauce.)

I really like the songs on it so far but I really want to find more instrumental songs with that spooky Betty boop jazz style I loved so much when watching otgw and more gentle and mysterious blue grass music for may bird,so far my searches have been fruitless so this is the best I can do currently but maybe some of you know any good songs to add to the mix?I don't know how that will work since I don't really trust Spotify settings at the moment so for now just comment a song and I'll do my best to add it as soon as possible.

IIIII have a big announcement concerning the may bird into the unknown auuuu!!

Ok so I have decided that I'll be making a genuine bona-fide narrative with this au that will be free to read right on wattpad!

The book itself will be following the basic gist of the over the garden wall plot but it will have some twists to help make it feel like a may bird fanfiction,if anyone is interested it will be released only gosh knows when buuut if you want you can check out my page until it's time for it to be released!(account name will be mentioned at the very end of post)

Also I've decided that Arista shall be the woodsman as a place holder unless I find a more fitting role for him.

Back at it again with some may bird into the unknown au stuff

Ok so back then I completely forgot about the existence of Kerry and the bogey so the bogey could be Adelaide and Kerry could be Loraine.

After some random daydreaming I think maybe Fabbio could be quincy with that lady from the carriage could be the ghost for plot purposes(I know in the past I've stated I shipped pumpkinxfabbio but mind you my beliefs won't affect this au since pumpkin's role and him in this au will be depicted as quite young and it irks me to think of that relationship in this au)and that frog boat could be the horde of goblins they serenade.

Side note I also forgot the existence of Arista when originally making this au so i'll be adding him in soon,although I have no idea how he will fit in.

And for funnsies finney Elway as Jason funderburker.

Aaaand John the jibber as that horse because why not?(I randomly remembered him while I was typing the details below when making this post)

Also a few funny little details I'll be adding to this au

Instead of a elephant pumpkin's costume was supposed to be a goblin and naturally may was trying to look like a warrior princess(book 3 cover design because she's not going to run around in just a bathing suit)Instead of a gnome.

May also has her share of special interests that most find a bit weird in kin to wirt(such as story telling,guitar,astrology,the outdoors,Egyptian mythology and engineering) but so does pumpkin(singing,crocheting(I know he said he sucked but I like to think he still does it to see if he gets better),musical instruments and all existing knowledge of music and cinema/theater along with a bit of anthropology(the skull catacomb scene and him being underestimated stuck with me)).

Pumpkin and may are a few years apart with pumpkin being elder(13 and 16) but may is still kinda more of the worry wirt(ohhh now I get his name) between them and pumpkin encouraging may not to worry too much sometimes and step out of her shell and be herself.

As said before pumpkin enjoys theater facts buuut he also is in high-school theater which gave him access to better materials for his costume(May's was made on a whim with the stuff at home since she originally stated she didn't want to dress up and go trick or treating for Halloween).
