Genuinely i think one of my favorite things about "searching for a world that doesnt exist" is that it addresses a huge problem i have with most minecraft args, which is "why are you this afraid of a videogame that cant affect you in real life", because its based on one of the only well known pieces of media known for affecting you in real life.

Like, all the args about "the minecraft server magically fucks with your mind and/or makes you disappear irl, no i will not be discussing this fact, lmao" dont do it for me. But the one where the explanation is "its The King again" immediately has me on board because i do, in fact, understand how encountering The King in minecraft would be bad and why turning off the game after realizing its dangerous isnt an option.

Also the whole thing ends immediately after the irl harm is done, with the implication that d3rlord3 DID actually stop playing the game immediately after it caused real life consequences, which makes him, by default, the smartest minecraft arg character in the history of minecraft args. Its just that its already too late. It was over the second he saw The King.
