Marine hatchetfishes (deep-sea hatchetfishes) are small deep-sea mesopelagic ray-finned fish of the stomiiform subfamily Sternoptychina and are in no way associated with the freshwater hatchetfishes. Marine Hatchetfishes are found in the tropic/subtropic waters of the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Ocean. Ranging in size from reasonably small to generally large,They are deep-sea fishes which have evolved a peculiar body shape and like their relatives have bioluminescent photophores which allow them to use counterillumination to escape predators that lurk in the deep parts of the ocean. Their large tube-shaped eyes can collect the faintest of light and focus well on objects both near and far.

Clownfish (anemonefish) are from the subfamily Amphiprioninae. In the wild they form symbiotic mutualism with sea anemones and are native to warmer waters of the Indian and Pacific oceans, including the Great Barrier Reef and the Red Sea,living at the bottom of shallow seas in reefs or lagoons.

Clownfish and sea anemones have a symbiotic/mutualistic relationship,each benefiting the other. The sea anemone protects the clownfish from predators and provides food through the scraps left from the anemone's meals and occasional dead tentacles. In return, the clownfish defends the anemone from predators and parasites.The anemone also picks up nutrients from the clownfish's excrement and functions as a homebase. The nitrogen excreted from clownfish increases the amount of algae incorporated into the tissue of their hosts, which aids the anemone in tissue growth and regeneration.

The Butterfly fishes are a group of  tropical fish from the Chaetodontidae; the Banner fish and Coral fish family. Found mostly on the reefs of the Atlantic, Indian and Pacific Oceans.

This Species feeds on coral polyps and sea anemones. Balancing the relative populations of prey and predator. Butterfly fishes are pelagic spawners; that is, they release many buoyant eggs into the water, which become part of the plankton, floating with the currents until hatching.

Stingrays are a group of rays, which are cartilaginous fishes (related to sharks). They're classified in the suborder Myliobatoidei and make up eight families: sixgill stingray,deep water stingray,stingarees,round rays,whiptail stingrays,river stingrays,butterfly rays, and eagle rays. Most stingrays have one or more barbed stings on the tail for self-defense. The stinger may reach a length of approximately 14 inches and its underside has two grooves with venom glands. The stinger is covered with a thin layer of skin, the integumentary sheath where the venom resides. Manta rays and the porcupine rays are without stingers though. These rays are common in coastal tropical and subtropical marine waters throughout the world. The river stingrays, and a number of whiptail stingrays (Niger stingray), are restricted to fresh water only.
