i lost my job a couple months ago. my unemployment barely covers my rent but it disqualified me for food stamps. iām struggling getting a full time job but if i try to get a part time job and make more than 100 dollars before tax in a week then i lose my unemployment income. my credit card is nearly maxed out and i donāt even make enough money to pay my bills. i just applied for rental assistance but the main rental assistance from the state closed applications because they stopped getting funding. what the fuck am i supposed to do

Also works for most of those news sites like WSJ or NYT that only let you read a little bit, or block adblockers. Also some disable the scroll bar but if you go to the right side of the console after hitting F12 and look for the CSS element āoverflowā and change it from āhiddenā to āvisibleā then you can continue scrolling for free. Might have to click around on different parts of the page to find it, but it should work.
Keith Haring in 1989: āUnfinished Paintingā. Haring died few months after and this is his last painting. This is supposed to be a self-portrait. Haring knew he wouldnāt have enough time to finish it. This is one of the saddest but certainly the most powerful thing Iāve ever seen.
to clarify: thisĀ is a finished self portrait. haring did know that he would be unable to continue to work; this āunfinishedā painting refers to that self-consciously as a visualization of how the aids crisis and government neglect robbed him of his life and future career.
i feel like this distinction is important? there are many artists who died due to hiv/aids and left unfinished work, but haring made this specifically to comment on his impending death. i feel like stating that itās actually unfinished takes away some of his agency as an artist/activist/pwa and the political power of the work.Ā
