Bottom: however, development files for the game that have surfaced in 2020 contain the original file names for the models of the areas, where the model for Tall, Tall Mountain is called "36DONKSLID.bin". This suggests that "DONKEY" in the internal name was not a misspelling (as misspelling it in two separate places the same way is highly unlikely) and that Ukiki the monkey was possibly supposed to be Donkey Kong, or somehow related to Donkey Kong, at some point during development.
