Artists need to use the four-pointed star more in their work especially in an age where it's used to symbolize gen ai
Sick and tired of wasian discourse where ppl try and decide a famous wasian's race for them
When the first four episodes of TADC were still dropping, I had a lot of hope that Caine and Pomni would interact more near the end of the series since they were both antagonist and protagonist
I like the genre of antagonist that has a relationship/connection to the protagonist where the antagonist's goals are related to keeping the protagonist safe or alive but through questionable methods
i want what jake and amy have but i’m jake and whoever i end up with is amy
Using my psych degree (im graduating in two weeks) to say that jax has avoidant personality disorder
my first impression on tadc was someone shipping kinger with gangle
Also honest thoughts on the tadc ending
I don't hate it, but I also don't love it. I saw the whole leak and thought it wasn't that bad. But it also isn't the best. The whole series was written in like a week or two. I genuinely think it should've had more time to bake in the oven.
Funnybunny meeting irl and showtime happening in the simulation. I am delusional and I must make fanfiction
Tadc finale is converting me into shipping bowtie cause why is Caine getting along well with Ragatha in the ending montage
Yknow what idc, as long as I know showtime is okay
Episode 9 will give us closure on Caine
It would be very anticlimactic to just kill him off and do nothing else with his character when the show has always been described to be more hopeful.
The other circus members have the ability to create as well, just not to his extent. To me, his character isn't just representative of artists struggling with artblock and artists being underappreciated for their work. He also represents not being able to accept feedback or criticism and always wanting creative control.
Given the themes of his character and such, I feel like his closure would be something along the lines of finally letting the other circus members have some creative input in the circus and other adventures as well, and finally learning how to be more open-minded.
I'm not sure what happens in episode 9 to get him back, but with the information that episode 9 is almost at least an hour long, I'm hopeful something will happen to bring him back.
What the fck
The shows I watched in my formative years were either cartoons like FOP or Gravity Falls, or filipino telenovelas about adultery and infidelity where the other woman or man goes insane for their loved one and goes as far as to kidnap the loved one's actual wife or husband to kill them or something violent like that
I actually liked the gameoverse pilot. The plot and setting honestly has me intrigued. And I’m very curious about Dusk and what his deal is. The pacing seems okay to me tbh, it feels like something I would’ve watched at Disney XD or Nickelodeon when I was younger. My only issue with it is that it’s so male gazey, but at the same time, the fan service really isn’t that distracting.
All in all, 7/10. Seems like a pretty good plot for getting straight to the point with a solid concept and foundation. I really want to see more.
My biggest fear as a writer is having a fanbase that doesn't care about the platonic relationships you've worked so hard to build and develop throughout the story and focuses solely on ships instead.
I honestly believe tadc just needed a bit more time in the oven to bake to reach its full potential even with only 9 episodes
