gold from every rdr2 mission :^)
#in all honesty this already happened like a week ago but i had people over and then i had to recover from having people over#so i'm only now finally getting around to making this post not that anyone's particularly interested but also no one's particularly#interested irl either so i didn't really get to have a Yay I Did It moment cuz like i said i had people over so ig this is as triumphant as#it gets lmao#anyway to put things into perspective at the start of ch6 i had accumulated 6 Accidental Golds & gone back to replay 4 missions For Funzies#so i had 10 golds in total and as we all know ch6 starts with icarus and friends (yay) and visiting hours (my favourite mission!) so i#wanted gold from them yet again For Funzies they're fun missions so that's what i did#and very jokingly i thought wouldn't it be so great if i could keep this up and get gold from The Whole Chapter :)#<- zero faith in myself i'm not saying i suck at video games to be self deprecating i'm saying it because it's true. prior to rdr my gaming#experience was limited to two (2) children's games many years ago that i still haven't beaten!! and like. minecraft. IN WHICH I SUCK#so getting gold from every ch6 mission was at times hmm. Hellish :) but the autism persists and eventually i did it#after that i was like In Theory if i could pull this off with the epilogues i'd only have to get gold from 7 (?) additional missions#for the gold rush trophy!!! <- about 5 weeks previously i had said that if i Ever could get even half of that (35) it'd be Incredible for me#and it was! so long story short did the 7 missions got through the epilogues pretty painlessly and Did Not get the trophy upon my 70th gold#looked it up and idk if it was glitched or if some mission didn't count towards the trophy lot of ppl had the same problem ANYWAY#since this was a low honour playthrough i did do not seek absolution 1 and 2 (and got the trophy after the first one)#(btw i did Not miscount american venom was 100% my 70th gold but whatever)#at that point i was like 72 golds surely is the Majority there's not that many missions left. it's not that many right it's not that many#so then i decided to dedicate an ungodly amount of time on finishing this Project. and here you have the results!#sorry i just come here to brag about my accomplishments i realize this is very annoying#now i'm working on the rest of the rdr2 trophies for absolutely no reason since won't get platinum anyway cuz so many of them are for rdo#zoologist and skin deep truly the most evil trophies known to mankind... i'm not in despair Yet but it is rapidly approaching#also actively doing grin and bear it which is Fine and then for some reason i haven't done bountiful or it's art but i'll concentrate on#that when i go insane from zoologist i HATE studying birds
