My Creepypasta AU OC – Part 1

Nora Bethlehem (Age 18)

Date of Birth: October 30, 1998

(My Creepypasta AU takes place in 2016.)

Nora was born in Ohio but moved to Oregon when she turned eighteen. Her parents were extremely conservative, and after witnessing her use her supernatural abilities, they attempted to perform an exorcism on her.

Ability: Etherform

Nora possesses a supernatural ability called Etherform. It allows her to separate her consciousness from her physical body, creating an invisible yet fully functional astral form. While her original body remains completely motionless, her projection can walk, run, open doors, pick up objects, and interact with the environment as if it were physically present. However, it remains completely invisible to everyone else.

She first discovered this ability at the age of seven. At first, she mostly used it to explore places and secretly observe people or anything that sparked her curiosity. It was during these explorations that she developed a passion for heavy metal music.

After moving to Oregon, Nora lives alone in a small house. She works at a local coffee shop while attending Pine Ridge High School.

Although she is mature and capable of taking care of herself, Nora is deeply emotionally dependent on others. She constantly puts other people’s needs before her own and fears being alone more than anything. Because of this, she often becomes an easy target for manipulative and ill-intentioned people.

August 1, 2016

Nora meets the new student, Jeff Sandvik, along with his brother, Liu Moore. (They are not biologically related.)

Before long, Nora and Jeff become involved in a deeply unhealthy relationship. Jeff is extremely possessive, yet he refuses to acknowledge their relationship publicly. He enjoys watching Nora suffer while simultaneously making her crave his affection and approval. Sadistic, masochistic, and narcissistic, Jeff traps Nora in a cycle of emotional pain, comfort, and dependence.

Nora has never had any previous sexual experiences, and Jeff becomes the first person to introduce her to intimacy. This only strengthens the emotional hold he has over her, making it even harder for her to break free from the toxic cycle.

After Jeff becomes Jeff the Killer (I’ll talk about him in the next post), he breaks into Nora’s house intending to kill her. He believes that while he was hospitalized, she had been cheating on him. Fortunately, Jeff is arrested by the police before he can carry out his plan.

Following the incident, Nora becomes the target of relentless bullying. Unable to cope with the situation, she moves once again—this time to the small town of Oakbridge, where she eventually meets Toby Hoffmann Rogers.

I don't think it's a very rigid routine, because being a Proxy isn't a job, but I imagine their routine unfolds more naturally, without fixed schedules.

Explaining my Creepypasta AU ╋━

Everything takes place in a fictional small town called Oakridge, founded in 1603 by Captain Oswin Winterbourne.

According to local legend, the town’s forest was cursed in 1610 by a witch named Idonea Birch. She was murdered in the forest, which is now a national park. Ever since, her spirit has haunted the woods. Anyone who dared to venture too deep into the forest never returned…

What Idonea didn’t know was that her first victim would become her greatest enemy.

In 1921, a businessman named Conrad Abberley planned to build a massive metal factory. Driven by greed and arrogance, Conrad ignored the warnings of the townspeople, who begged him not to disturb the forest. The deforestation caused by the factory’s construction enraged Idonea.

As punishment, she transformed Conrad into what he truly was on the inside: dark and alone. However, she never expected him to become so powerful.

Idonea tried to destroy the monster she had created, but their powers proved to be equal.

Since then, Oakridge National Park has been divided into two territories: one ruled by Idonea, and the other by the being the townspeople came to call… Slenderman.

In my next posts, I’ll explain the story of each character in my Creepypasta AU. Basically, I’m rewriting several classic creepypasta characters based on my own interpretations of them.
