I saw a post talking about Sasuke and how he’s not a like super muscular guy and he’s more slim and alll the comments were like "He’s called SasUKE for a reason" or "normal his a bottom/omega". Not to be a hater but Bakugo character development was not that good. I mean it was good but really I could have been better, like him apologizing in front of everyone and explaining why he did it was the bare minimum for me and I also believe that he did it because he know that Izuku would accept his apology because he didn’t have a grudge against him and all. For him to do it better would actually him having a deep conversation about his feelings with Izuku ( what they did in front of everyone was not enough for me ) and idk just more ! He in himself didn’t change that much because he still an ass to beginning to end and him reflecting about it was okay but not incredible as people make it be.

If Ochako was a guy, people would say that they are canon, that the talk Izuku had with Bakugo prove it, that it was obvious that they liked each other and that they’re talk proved that they wanted a more intimate relationship but because she’s a girl, the scene means nothing and it was just a high five anyway so I doesn’t prove anything and they’re so sibling coded anyway. Like it’s not because the ship is cannon now that you can’t ship another person with the character.

People saying that it’s romantic how Bakugo want to reach out to Izuku all the time but everyone try to too… All people in class 1-A can see how amazing and kind and strong Izuku is and they pratically all have him as a model ( it’s kinda what they say when they bring him back to U.A ) and it’s not like Bakugo try to do much more then everyone else, he went to reach out to him because Izuku’s strong and naturally kind ( which he took as acting superior then him ) but if Izuku wasn’t strong, he would have never really change on how he treat Izuku, comparing to the others who would even if he wasn’t . But I do think Bakugo would had Izuku in the back of his mind and think, when he succeeded, that he’s finally totally better then him and took some pleasure when he see Izuku being kinda miserable because he’s not a Hero.

Some people would look at you in the eyes and said that everything that Bakugo did is acceptable because the society made him that way, that he didn’t know how to express his feelings better, that he thought a lot about his actions and he apologize publicly, which is incredible for him right ? so of course the way he bullied Izuku for a decade is okay, the way he called him useless is okay, the way he told him to kill himself is okay too, or the way he physically abused him knowing that Izuku wouldn’t fight or talk back and would still admire him is okay. Those people just don’t care about Izuku and his feelings at all because when you call that out they would say that we never watch pass season 1, that it was all in the pass anyway or that Izuku doesn’t care about it. For me the manga lack some moment of what Izuku was thinking during all the bullying or his reflection on why he didn’t kill himself when he had nothing in life,( it’s kinda obvious but I would like that ) with that there wouldn’t have people trying to justify Bakugo attitude and action so much that at the end it’s kinda normal that he didn’t have any real consequences ( being guilty isn’t one ).

This is my first rant post, so this MIGHT be all over the place, so bare with me.

I never understand when bakudeku fans would say things like "if they were a straight ship you wouldn't have an issue with it" or "if one of them was a girl, you'd ship them"

cuz although I agree that there are ppl who's only issue with the ship is that they are both boys , which is dumb as hell cuz THAT'S your only issue??

The "you'd ship them if it was straight " sentiment is true for a lot of ships in fandom spaces with two characters of the same gender being downright obsessed and low-key in love with each other but ppl don't like other ppl Shipping them cuz APPARENTLY ppl of the same gender can only be friends? and to think that hey they could be more is insane (examples are narusasu and wenclair cuz there's no way ppl are shocked abt those ships when you see the way they act lol you don't act like that abt your "friend")

The sad fact is that yes, a lot of ppl would love a lot of gay ships if they were straight. If they were "normal" but the problem is that bkdk isn't one of those ships....

In fact, I'd argue that it would get hated on MORE if one of them was a girl. Worse if izuku was the girl. (Not saying it wouldn't get hated on if bkg was the girl. That would be naive seeing how incredibly misogynistic fandoms can be lol.One of the biggest reasons bakugo is so popular is cuz he's everyone UWU misunderstood angry boy. Fandoms would not give a woman that much grace )

If izuku was a girl and bakugou a guy and nothing else changed abt their dynamic, alot of shippers now would finally admit that no matter how much "development" bkg got that a romantic or a platonic relationship between the two would be an abuser x victim relationship. They wouldn't hesitate to compare endeavor and bkg, wouldn't make excuses such as "oh bakugou isn't like endeavor he was just a teenager" cuz that doesn't matter anymore cuz izuku is a girl and even tho the violence that bakugou was inflicting on izuku is the same. Izuku's a girl now, so they can't dismiss it as easily as if he was a boy. Suddenly, a lot of the moments and scenes are viewed differently.

Now, this doesn't make "childhood friends." This is now a boy abusing and tormenting a poor girl

This isn't rivalry. That's assault (izuku did not wanna fight in either these situations)

The "good" moments wouldn't matter anymore because of the simple fact that bkg bullied and tormented this girl from the age of 4 years old to 15, over 11 YEARS! would weigh people's minds. They would feel unsettled by "comedic moments" of bkg putting izuku down or physically harming her . (Yeah, there would still be fans of bakugou, but the majority of sane audience would despise him)

In the end, bakugou and izuku's ship wouldn't work or make more ppl okay with it because it's straight now, no, it would just make ppl understand how abusive and disgusting the ship is (now izuku's abuse is ignored and not taking seriously cuz they're both boys)

Bakudeku is one of the ONLY ships that would put ppl off and make them uncomfortable if it was straight. It's actually a little funny to me that them being boys is actually helping them with fan girls / yaoi lovers who don't care if it's abusive or not as long as it is yaoi. so it's crazy to me when they say it's the opposite way around.

I hate when people are degrading the action Bakugo did because Deku forgive him and never hold a huge grudge about it. Saying that is just stupid, Deku clearly had a good relationship with Bakugo that he didn’t want to let go off, plus the fact that they shared the same dream I think that Deku just couldn’t let go off him, and I’m not talking about it romantically. Bakugo bullied him since the moment he knew that he was quirkless, so no they weren’t best friend after they were like 5, it practically means nothing even more when he bullied him for years after. I decided to post this now bc my sis told me about ppl hating on QueenX ship, saying that ppl ship them just bc they look good together and that Queen is being offended/insulted by the fans shipping her with X bc he's the top and bc Queen is blushing in most of fanarts like.. what? I don't remember I saw THIS MUCH of fanarts with Queen being a shy girl (according to the ass-brain person who wrote that commet), what i personally saw, Queen is mostly being more confident with X in the fanarts, not a shy girl as this ass said, just another sht argument to hate on a male x fem ship. Personally, I like this ship a lot, but I wouldn't want it to become canon simply bc it doesn't suit any of them, X is totally a loner, Queen cares more about her goals, but the ship is still fun and interesting to me.

Okay so I have this OC on Naruto and I imagine sooo many interacting with her and all the characters and I thought, why not written it down ? So for some context her name is Izumi, ( I know it’s the name of Itachi’s "girlfriend" in Canon but I just love the name and she’s not that important in the story) Itachi was her special person before he kills everyone and kill her too but she survive ( don’t ask ) anyway she’s extra close to Sasuke and this the talk they have before he leaves Konoha :

Izumi wasn’t dumb, she could feel the change in Sasuke, is indecision on what real purpose he has. She needed to have a talk with him, she wanted more than anything to clear his heart.

It was dark in the night when she see him, he was gloomy,as usual but she could tell that he was still indecisive, she know that this talk will lend to his choose and she was going to be the most honest as she could be with him. "Sasuke… want to go for a walk ?" She talk calmly, as if she couldn’t feel his chakra wavering. He nod without thinking, it was in fact a long time since they talk properly and he needed to talk with her. They start walking, the silence between them was charged with words they wanted to say.

"What’s on your mind ?" Izumi speak gently, afraid of scared him away from his thoughts. "I presume you already know," he murmur, a hint of a smile in his voice, "Im… lost. I have to kill him." It was a fact, they were no hesitation on his words, he was even more certain when he finally meet Izumi gaze. "For all the things he did to my clan, my family.. he killed everyone and he almost got you too ! I will never forgive him for the pain he caused to us, but…" he faulted and look at the ground again, "I need to be stronger and Konoha as no one strong enough to help me." Sasuke let that vague sentence talk for himself, he knew Izumi will caught up to it, she always does.

Izumi let his words hang in the air for a minute, let the implication of his words take real effect, when she see the bitter look on his face, she talk again. "If it’s that what you want Sasuke, I wish you my best." He snapped his head off at her words, completely baffled. "Huh..? I- just said that I wanted to leave the village." He couldn’t understand, he thought that she wouldn’t let him leave and try to reason with him right away.

"Listen Sasu because I think you don’t understand a crucial thing." Izumi’s voice was more serious that ordinary as she crouch at his level, which he hate. "I can’t say I understand fully why, but I’m the closest person who can understand your feeling. What Ita-.. he did, will always be unforgettable, and if you want to kill him and revenge your clan and me, I will never stop you, and you know why smart boy ?" He shook his head, didn’t trust his voice to speak. She smiled the most dazzling smile she could make, which make Sasuke mind go black for a second before pressing her forehead hardly against his. "Because no matter what, I will love you always." Sasuke breath cut short in his throat and the pain of the smack didn’t even register. "If you decide to stay in this hell, I’ll stay with you, if you leave and kill him, I’ll welcome you back with open arms, if it take you decades before you do kill him, I’ll wait for you until my last breath. No matter the choices you make, my love for you will never change, even if it’s kill me."
