I wonder if Shepard ever gets harassed over her relationship with Garrus? Like, I figure that turian and human relations can’t be that uncommon, but being the celebrities that the two of them are (especially after the war) I wonder if there ever is a time where Shepard gets hate for dating or being married to a turian. I wonder if there are times where Shepard and Garrus are out together, minding their own business when suddenly they start getting hateful comments thrown at them. Like someone calling Shepard a “turian whore”, a slut and a whole bunch of other vulgar things just to make a scene.

Naturally, Shepard can defend herself but I like to think that it bothers Garrus the most of all. He would get so infuriated of someone speaking to Shepard in such a way, especially after everything she’s accomplished. Shepard would probably tell him that it doesn’t matter what they say about them together, but it really gets under Garrus’ skin and what to do something about it.

I just like to think that Shepard just puts up with the harassment as best she can, even though it bothers her just as much as it bothers Garrus. She just has to keep reminding herself that the only thing that matters is her and Garrus and the strength in each other that got them through the war can get them through some idiot’s prejudice.

Okay but imagine Garrus being the one that takes care of Shepard’s injuries after missions. Naturally, if it’s something serious that needs professional care, he’ll leave that to Dr. Chakwas. But anything else, he insists on being the one that takes of her. Usually in the privacy of her quarters, he’ll come up with a first aid kit ready. He jokes that all that “research” wasn’t all about pleasing her in bed *wink wink*.

In any seriousness, Garrus was researching on how to treat human injuries. Admittedly, it shocked him at first how vulnerable humans really are. Without any outer armor like turians or krogan, that is. Shepard likes to comment that he’d probably make Mordin very proud.

For Garrus, he’s gotten pretty good taking care of Shepard’s injuries and making sure that she’s okay. He worries constantly about her anyway, and as her boyfriend, he figures it just comes with the territory.

I’m Not Sure Who Knows About My Story Letters To Alenko But! If You Do, Then You Probably Know It’s Unfinished.

It Isn’t. I Haven’t Finished Posting Because I Never Finished Playing Through My Third Game Playthrough. I Will Be. Which Means, The Last Of The Letters Will Be Written. The Rest Of The Dialogue/Actions Will Be Written. Which Means In 2021. Letters To Alenko Will Be Fully Done.

It is The First I Don’t Want To Call It A Fan Fiction. It Is A Big Work That I Put A Lot Of Time Into Before My First Big Relationship, During My First Big Relationship. And After My First Big Relationship. My Ex, Doesn’t Realise How Much He Encouraged Me To Write That Series. And I’m Going To Put More Time Into It. Maybe Go Back And Add Some Scenes That My Commander Went, Maybe Even Write About What Happened To Her That Made Her This Complex Character. And I Look Forward To When The Legendary Edition Releases So I Can Add To The Series. And I Also Would Like To Make Not Necessarily A “Letters To Vakarian” Spin Off I Want It To Have A Different Title. I Would Also Maybe Eventually Write A Liara Book. But As Of Right Now I Am Planning On Finishing Letters To Alenko In 2021. As Well As Writing My One For Garrus And I Would Like To Write Liara’s In 2022. Because I Might Have More Content To Work With By Then.

I like how shepard’s armor and weapons aren’t squeaky clean. They have scratch marks from which you can tell they’ve been used recklessly and often. I mean it’s a very tiny detail, but I think it’s really cool.

I know it’s hard to see but you can see marks of frequent installations on her chestplate and arms as well

There was a player named Reapers in my last match. And since I’ve been playing Mass Effect again lately, every time I hooked them all I could think was, “Ah yes, Reapers. We have dismissed that claim.”

Grunt: Thanks, mom.

Grunt: … Why is everyone staring at me?

Tali: You just called Shepard ‘mom’. You said “thanks, mom.”

Grunt: What, no I didn’t, I said thanks ma'am!

Shepard (smiling): Do you see me as a mother figure, Grunt?

Grunt: No! If anything I see you as a *bother* figure, since you’re always bothering me!

Letters To Alenko (Letter One)

“Commander.”

   “Nice to see you Commander.”

   “Back on deck Commander? Anderson is in the comm room.”

  I nod my thanks, pushing past the group of people that have surrounded the docking doors. I manage to get near Navigator Pressly before I’m forced to stop, a man in dark blue armor standing outside the comm doors.

   “Lieutenant Alenko ma’am.” He states, holding out a hand to shake instead of saluting.

   I salute before shaking his hand. “Pleasure, Commander Shepard.” I state in reply to his name and rank.

“Nihlus and Captain Anderson are stationed in the comm room, they’ve instructed I show you to the cockpit so we can update you on the current mission.”

“Noted, lead the way.” I say, pointing behind me, already knowing where the cockpit is, but allowing the kind soldier to show me the way.  

“Yes ma’am.” He replies and begins heading towards the cockpit.

Alenko,

  I’m not sure how I feel about this mission. I hate to admit it, but, I’m scared. I don’t want a repeat of Acuze, but I feel like I’m about to lose some good people out there.

Commander.

“I’ll meet you down there.” Nihlus says as he checks his gun one last time before jumping down.

“Yes sir…” I mumble, trailing off and rolling my eyes.

“Be careful Shepard.” Anderson says as I click the last piece of my armor into place. I smile at him, throwing my assault rifle onto my back where it clicks into place. “Always am Anderson.” I state as we get to the drop zone.

“I’m not kidding Shepard, you’re a good soldier, do good on this mission.” He says sternly, glancing at Jenkins and Alenko as they finish strapping on their weapons.

I line up with the cargo bay door as it opens and shrug. “As I stated before, always.” I say as I fall backwards out of the door landing on the ground, waiting for Alenko and Jenkins to follow behind.

I pause when they land, pulling my pistol out from behind me. “Let’s get started.”

Kaidan once called Shepard “Commander” at the height of passion. Shepard never let him live it down.
