my playlist --> Shakespeare as a teenage girl
You never will be there for me like im there for other people I wallow in shame as I self deprecate for being so naive and pitiful I write, I talk, I sing, But verbally I am as stuck as a bat with no wings Making my fate sound beautiful is my duty, will you meet me half way If a knife ran through me I chase the kind of loyalty youβll see in a bad rom-com series That gained popularity because others found it βendearingβΒ I can only take but so much, being in your clutch You squeeze, pull and tug and then ask why im all torn up This is all your doing even if its not right Because you never felt an ounce of sympathy in your damn life I have a common discernment but still let people like you in But youβre just another lesson Wrapped in omniscientΒ
It was the fourth of julyβ¦
You should've never made a way into me
Like chemicals being plastered onto the things we eat, sleep and see
If there were legalized lobotomies
Id go get one every week of my life, to suffice the need for therapy
And by then, you'll know not to leave another broken
If we pass each other in the street, I won't be provoked
Because if you saw me now you'd raise faster than fundraisers for low income schools
Can't believe I let you get that close
I knew from the second I saw you, I'd be in your arms
And without a doubt, I slipped out between your fingers and palms
Back into a slumped state called depression; silent foreplay
And tonight, is it's regression

after watching βadolescenceβ , i have been wondering about how the red pill destroys the minds of young men π
from the context of the film βadolescenceβ , the red pill refers to a viewpoint associated with incel culture, which portrays a cynical view of relationships and gender dynamics. this viewpoint is adopted by the character jamie, who becomes radicalized by online communities & uses this ideology to justify his lethal crime.
the lethal crime being the murder of his classmate katie. jamie struggles with a negative self-imagine, exposure with incel propaganda and fueled by a rejection from katie. when katie publicly criticizes him online, he feels shamed and lashes out, leading to the stabbing.
this ideology takes advantage of young men, about how theyβre manipulated into thinking that their struggles are womenβs fault instead of questioning structures that actually oppress them. it shows how red-pill rhetoric isnβt about βhelpingβ men but about making them more furious & more isolated, feeding them the lies that domination and control equals to strength when itβs not.

have you watched this showβ
I need this song injected in my bloodstream
Neighboring a withered estate until you invested in renovation
Carefully placing the nail pieces in brail that spell
βI love youβ
Beyond her eyes
Attentive soul that was sent to show the
Interesting techniques that love
Last, even if you ignore it
Everywhere
Everytime
We build a house with the budget of four thousand, with determination that shifts the value
Of everything that this amounts to
March 13th mocks me of the day I sworn to give you my all.
Literature For Dummies.Β Β
Am I underdressed for this exile of my existence
Carved into warrant just because I did something
Let alone, left alone. You have no place or no space
In your heart to turn announcement to an awful displacement
Creating reckless decisions to figure out how id get here
Kismet of a final form, knocking on my door
Nobody's home, you've returned way to many times
To claim this as your shelter
Promise consistencyΒ
Or farewell to freedom
Splinters in my fingers. I pull them out to bleed yet knowing i'd heal from it. It's like Stepping into cement expecting it to stay wet, but I'm nothing like your ex girlfriend.Β Plural? Or plurality, coming into reality. Conjuring up emotions, like BLM screamingΒ βFUCK POLICE BRUTALITY.β Iβll ask for someone, and get nobody in the end. So yes, let's only be friends. Pretend it never happened while you distort, challenge, and end it.
you make it impossible to love you don't you see that?
you flutter your eyes toward the nearest requite and feast off of them.
your leather of a body doesn't stretch, so you gather more fabric until it's torn, thrown into a goodwill basket.
but you're too witty to ignore your eyes; the mouth that'll be overheard.
don't you love how hating yourself sounds? you make it sound like another person, just to avoid facing the 'you'
all year around.
