This morning I woke up around seven, I went out in the chilly weather and I couldn’t feel any fatigue even though I slept 3h last night. When I got back home I had a cup of coffee and I started writing and sketching, it was a pleasing day and I feel so productive.

currently laying in bed, listening to a podcast and scrolling through social media while getting ready to study for my exam tomorrow

went to sleep late last night so quite tired but excited to have all my exams completed by the beginning of next week!

heres to a couple hours of cosy studying with tea, hot chocolate and breakfast before heading into work later in the afternoon

Could I just say something real quick? 

It’s all coming. Whatever you’re starving for, whatever that ache is that stings your bones, it’s coming. The love, the happiness, the adventures, and the creativity that you are seeking, it is all coming for you. Here’s the thing, don’t let your right now get away. The things you find mundane, keep them. Store them in the pocket of your favorite coat like found pennies. They aren’t futile. Do not let them cause you to feel empty and hollow. They are going to be worthwhile. Keep the hunger for what is coming, but please, keep a tight grip on these little ordinary moments that are happening right now, because they – these tiny pieces of this ordinary affair you find yourself in – are the foundation to your extraordinary. And I promise you, if you begin to recognize your right now, you’ll see your extraordinary coming.

i’m currently on my summer holiday right now which means a lot of time i didn’t have before, so i’m doing a lot of reading. my favourite thing to buy at the airport is a copy of monocle, and this month’s issue featured a list of the world’s 25 most liveable cities, with tokyo topping it. i’ve always dreamed of going to japan and staying in the capital and generally having the time of my life. i’ve also dreamed of being able to speak/read/write at least five languages by the time i’m thirty, hopefully seven in total one day. i’ve committed to learning japanese during my break, brushing up my mandarin alongside, to get that little bit closer to living in japan (and watching anime without subs hehe). i will share snippets of my japanese journey on here. if anyone has any good websites or videos, they would be most appreciated! let’s do this!
