So earlier this week I filmed a video for a Christian based project called Project Riandu. They plan on building a school for deaf children in Riandu, Kenya over the next 3 years. All volunteers are students, and they shall be working closely with the local church. To find out more click H E R E

Berlin Tourist

So this is the start of my Berlin album. These photos (coming up) were all taken during the day tours at various locations in the city itself. Despite it’s dark past, the city today is a great location to visit - be it for a historical purposes, adventure purposes, or any other form of vacation for that matter. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and would highly recommend giving it a visit!

W I L D - N I G H T

So that was insane.

Here you can see a little insight into Thursday night's antics: the stage invasion of 40 dancing, jumping, generally-having-the-time-of-their-life crowd members. This was something special. 

And we can't thank you all enough! We truly, wholeheartedly enjoyed every moment of it. Our newest member Jacob was thrown straight in at the deep end for a headliner, but to say he lived up to things is an understatement. He was superb, alongside the rest of the band of course. 

When it comes to a gig it's always great to interact with the crowd, and I think I can safely say that happened, don't you? 

Sadly that is it until the summer. However if you're big fans of Beth Stevens, the singer on our track 'Love Is Wrong' and you're going to see her play in Leeds on the 22nd of this month, you'll get to see us one last time before we disappear to study.

But all is not lost, as we're scheduled for an 'Ont Sofa' session on the 21st, so look out for that one.

We would also like to say a big thank you to Rock Current for featuring us in their 'Sounds Of The Week' playlist.

For those of you that didn't know, I'm on a band called The Hope. Which coincidently, happened to be named after this daily blog.

Although we're just starting out, we all have an overwhelming passion for Jesus and, of course, music. And a year or so ago I gathered some of my closest friends from Church; we got together with the intent on writing our own worship music. Unfortunately it wasn't the greatest of successes... And sadly it died down after that.

But that didn't stop me, all the time still writing new worship songs, and a few weeks ago we got together to give things another shot. Since then things have been going well! This picture is a quote from one of our newest songs that I wrote lyrics and chords to, and with the help of the band we've managed to turn it into one mighty fine worship song.

So I've been fairly ill recently, spending a lot of my time in bed feeling crap. But this has meant that I have had a chance to look through some old photos and reminisce about the days I would go out with a couple of mates and just skate around.

We were never any good, and in all honesty we still aren't now! But that wouldn't stop us spending our evenings hanging out and relaxing: enjoying each others company.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy looking through them. And I hope it will encourage you to stick at things, even if you're really bad at them - just like myself and skateboarding.

Also! Christmas jumpers are very cool.
