I've gone through some majorly emotionally devastating stuff lately. Its left me scared and insecure, like i'm without community. Naturally i turned to vent art. This depicts the healing AU, when maul has fully recovered, and Zed is feeling worn out and unresolved. Maul wants to do anything to assure Zed that he's there for him, and Zed finally lets this out. Maul doesn't know what to say. He just looks with sorrow and confliction as he wipes Zed's tears. I'm honestly not sure what he'd do next, but i'm open to suggestions.

Granted maul was unsure and uncomfortable when he started doing it but he also just...let him cry. Nobody did that. He didnt feel safe enough to.

In times of panic he would motivate him and let him knwo that theyre in this together.

So for this to happen, and kinder this time, it means a lot. It means he really does love him, and thats enough to convince zed. That not only did he do the grabd act of returning to zed, but he'll keep returning to zed.
