chronic lateness is truly so effing RUDE and obnoxious it’s not quirky or a personality trait I wish I lived somewhere like switzerland or japan where timeliness and politeness are virtues and if you’re late the group will just straight up ignore you.
…OP also thinks having disabilities is “not an excuse” and “rudeness doesn’t stop being rude because you have ADHD lol”. Which I’m sure we all agree is a very mature and thoughtful viewpoint, suited to a person who thinks concern for others is a virtue! Or something!

It is very very harmful to expect people to be places on time when they said they would show up, true. Probably even worse than terrorism
i have adhd, struggle constantly with time management, and really value punctuality (in myself & others). and i really dislike the infantilizing uwu attitude that people take when discussing any adhd problems.
like these are significant issues that i truly struggle with, and sometimes my strategies / coping mechanisms fail in spite of myself. on a personal level, of course i hope to receive some measure of grace & forgiveness from people who know me because i hope i’ve earned it with them by making actual efforts and usually coming through.
but i am a fucking adult, i understand that my actions impact myself and others, and people are entitled to be furious if i’m fucking up their plans by being late; no amount of “uwu sorry about my brain” is an excuse if i fuck up a time-sensitive experiment or make somebody miss a flight or make someone late to a concert they were excited for or otherwise just constantly disrupt plans by being unreliable
