Maxâs family life was less than ideal. His father worked as a butcher to gain endâs meat while his mother stayed at home, attempting to be a good mother.  When Max was born, she suffered from strong post-partum psychosis, in which she attempted to murder her own son. She was stopped and placed on heavy medication. Maxâs father was a diagnosed schizophrenic with a severe anger management problem. Whether it is their chosen lifestyle or perhaps just genetics, there was no way any child these two produce would be the least bit normal. In school, Max didnât have many friends; he was teased and tormented by his peers. At first glance, you wouldnât know there was anything wrong with Max. Heâs charismatic, handsome and appears to be completely sincere. Sure, he seems like a nice boy, one to take home to your mother for dinner. It wasnât until after his eighth birthday when his mother revealed she was leaving them for her new lover that Max got his taste for human flesh.
His father, filled with rage, decapitated his mother, beheading her in front of his son. If that wasnât enough to damage such a small boy, in an attempt to get rid of the body, his father, an experienced butcher, slaughtered her body like meat- claiming to treat her like the cow she was. âNo body, no crimeâ, he said. So they ate her. The sudden disappearance of his wife caused suspicion to Maxâs father so they fled. Leaving all traces of their former lives behind, they moved far away. But Max just couldnât get the taste for humans off his tongue. He wanted more. In high school, he reminded the shy guy who had a few close friends. He enjoyed hunting and killing animals, occasionally eating them raw and pretending it was humans. No one would have guessed Maxâs secret identity, he hid it so well. Max resisted the taste for humans for many years, knowing that his father would disapprove. But as his father grew weak and frail from typhoid fever, Max started to slip slowly into insanity. He trusted his father completely, loyal like a little pup. When his father past, Max ate his father as a way of commemoration. After the effects of his fatherâs tainted flesh took over, Max went on a rampage, attacking people on the street like a ravenous animal. When the police caught him, he was covered in blood, eating the insides of a pregnant woman in an alleyway. Completely deranged, the police dragged Max to Eden, sedated and muzzled for evaluation.Â
A modern-day Hannibal Lecter, years of experience had taught Connor how to behave like a normal human being. Be kind to others, smile, laugh, cry if need be. Whatever it takes to not give off his secret nature. There is something about Connor, his charming smile or the way he talks, it draws people towards him like a venomous viper. He knows how to manipulate people into doing as he wishes but he attacks. He still remembers the taste of his mother, hoping to one day find a woman who tastes just as good.
