Co- Lab Day 7

Hii! Today for our co-lab, we played just dance! Our morning started off the same. Korean lesson and watching a video on the final assessment. Afterwards, we had lunch, and met up in the front

They only had a couple kpop songs, so once we danced to them all, we just danced to modern dances. The groups were blackpick, twice, nct, and even soloist Hyuna! It was very fun! And we ended up writing our blogs and heading home :3

Co-Lab Day #6

Hi! For today’s co-lab, we started off the same as usual. We soon watched a video talking about the life of trainees, featuring stayc members! Afterwards, we had lunch :> We met up in the common area, before we all made our way to a shaved ice place! The three flavors we had were X.O.X.O (Strawberry), The OG (consisted of sesame seeds and mochi), and Cookie monster (Oreo.)

They were all pretty good, but my personal favorite was the strawberry one! It tasted like frozen yogurt with strawberry syrup basically. Once we finished, we had to think about if we would want to become a kpop trainee and idol. My answer to this would be YES! The main reason why is because I enjoy singing and dancing alot, so I’d want to put those skills onto the big stage. I feel like it would be pretty hard though, as a black person, considering for the standards, one of the requirements is to have pale skin. People with only a slightly darker skin color than an idol who is very pale get hate. Anyways, that’s bacially all, but it was the perfect day for shaved ice, since it was SO hot out. But anyways, bye!

CO-Lab Day #5

Hi ! There’s no need for an introduction so I’ll just go over the day. We started off, like all the other days, doing kahoot and a korean lesson. Afterwards, we had a brief discussion on sasaeng fans around the world. Afterwards, we had lunch and chilled. After lunch, we had went to H Mart, got ingredients for the food we were making, which was a pancake with scallops basically. I also got the drink Pocari Sweat, an energy drink popular in Asia countries.

We cooked the pancakes, having a lot of leftovers from the batter. It really filled us all up! We were supposed to go karaoke that day, but it rained, so we just cooked instead, and it was delicious! Afterwards, we all went home to enjoy our longggg weekend! Byee!

Co-Lab Day #4!

Hihi! I hope you had a nice day yesterday, today, or whatever! For this colab, it started off the same. I don’t feel like repeating the same cycle, so lets get to the intresting part, Co-Lab AL! (That stands for after lunch). First, we watched a video on the saseangs of the kpop industry.

I think a case of saseangs for a group is loona, where sasaengs would go in the VENTS of the place they were recording at. We had a VERY heated argument on what group to get an album from. We ended up getting one for seventeen cause everyone saw how FINE they were.

LIKE LOOK AT HOW FINE HE ISDJIDNWD. Anyways, we got corndogs after and went back to the school, where we watched some music videos for a bit. Anyways, that’s all! Byee!

CO-LAB Day #3

Hi! Welcome back to my blog! For this colab, it started off like normal. We played kahoot, got snacks, and learned more korean. We learned how to say goodbye to people! Afterwards, we had lunch and then we got ready to see the movies! The movie we watched was the roundup!

After we finished the movie, we went home. I enjoyed the movie alot! It was really fun to watch and overall an entertaining movie! That’s all! Goodbye and have a good day!

CoLab Day #2!

Hi! Maya here :D For this colab, we had started off with kahoot again. The only issue was that for some of the questions, we had NO clue what they were. like we were just guessing and asking the teacher what the words meant. Once we finished the kahoot, we took a moment to learn how and when to say yes and no in korean, which was nice! Once we did that, we had time to write the blog for day one, which I forgot to do </3 anyways, by the time we finished that, we had lunch and listened to some songs :D. Once lunch was over, we watched a video on kpop stans and the fandoms, which leads to what we had to do for an assignment, and that was to pick a fandom to research on! The fandom I picked was ORBITS! I think I got into Loona after seeing a video of one of their members, Hyunjin, trying to open a pen. I just found the video so cute, and had to find out who she was, before becoming an orbit (The video is the gif above :D)! Orbits from what I know get into alot of fan wars with everyone. They just violent ppl ig. Anyways, the only incident I can think of, is a “fan” saying that yves’ hairdo for the comeback didn’t look good, and chuu saying “Look in the mirror” to them.  Song of the Day: Valentine Girl by LOONA!

KPOP Co-lab Day #1

Hi! I’m sorry for not posting in so long :C Today, we had played some kahoot on korean words :D After we did so, we took the time to learn more words, like greetings and manners :3. After terribly prouncing the words, we took a break, before watching a documentary on the history of kpop ! We continued watching the documentary, before making a slideshow on our findings and 2 artist from the 90s in kpop! That’s really about it. It was alot of fun! Hii ! This is my first blog post of my K-Pop Co-lab experience ! I only had one picture (Which was of the food ofc), but I’m gonna simply just go over the day, which was honestly a lot of fun! :> We went in an unnecessary circle around the block of k-town (thanks ms. k) before ending up in a store. I forgot the name of it but just think of a store of kpop albums and k-beauty products all smooshed together into a lovely half and half store. No we did not get k-beauty products BUT we did get ourselves some nice folders with kpop idols on it. Literally three people got the same folders, which was twice. (honestly good for them) I got an aespa one because we love some AI queens <3. And yes when I say WE got it I mean our loving teacher Ms. K who was so nice enough to pay for us 🥺 Anyways, we left after like 10 minutes cause we had our stuff and it was HOT. Like really I was sweating so much 😭. After about 6 blocks, we finally made it to the FOOD SPOT <3 Let me tell you, I had a slice of pizza before the co-lab started and I was still craving the food we were getting, so when I walked in that shop, I just instantly wanted to eat. Like really. Everything looked and smelled good. Anyways, we sat down after taking our orders and learned korean! Well just the alphabet but it was still fun :D. After 10-20 minutes of literal STRUGGLING on how korean works, the food finally came (its called korean toast btw). Everyone enjoyed their food! Atleast the people that got food lol. ANYWAYS, we did more cool korean learning and then we were dismissed, although most of us just walked back to the school and hung out since it was still kinda early. But yeah! That was it!
