How do u come up with names for your world in Shadow Seers? Like I too am currently writing but I struggle with coming up with names. Also can I in private DM u to share a few of my story ideas?
Countless generators for countless names. Some say it's the best fantasy name generator site around, which is very humbling to hear.
I also use random fake word generators for inspiration. Whenever I come across a generated word I like, I edit it to make it pronounceable phonetically and to match the other fake words I have in the world.
And sorry but no. I keep my DMs closed for multiple reasons. I appreciate that you value my opinion but I am not interested in doing that. I’m sorry.

Hiatus
Letting yall know that I am not dead lol. I’m just taking an extended hiatus to work on personal projects. A certain jester has consumed my brain. All I want to do is draw/write him. Hyperfixations hit like waves and persist like rocks. Who knows when it’ll fade away. Hopefully not soon! I got fanfics to write! At the end of the day, I’m writing and drawing so I’m happy.
I’ll be back whenever.

When writing Shadow Seers how do u balance out the animalistic side and the anthro human like side? I am currently brainstorming my own anthro animal series so do u have any tips?
Tbh, I don’t even think about it. I’ll have the characters hiss, growl, fight with their claws and do other animal stuff, but I don’t have a set method of balancing them out. It doesn’t even cross my mind as I write them. My worldbuilding in general does play into the characters being animals a bit more (and bits of that show up in the book), but Shadow Seers is not about the world. It’s a story about interpersonal drama, politics, and religion so like, them being animals is just a symptom of them being a part of Annumilia and for no other reason. So basically, you can replace them with humans and not much would change. Anthros are just people with fur at the end of the day, really.
For that, I don’t have tips on “how to write” anthros in general. It really depends on if them being animals matter to the themes of the story. So like are you going for Beastars (heavy allegory and themes that rely on them being animals) or Lackadaisy (just an aesthetic for fun)? Depending on that answer, my response changes.
I know this is a cop out answer but I don’t want to give bad advice.

you are correct, bc every single person in this thread is buddy buddy with tenelleflowers. they think being mean to them is abuse while the reason people are being mean to them is because they are actively supporting groomers and downplaying their actions. Tenelle called said groomer (21 years old at the time) "barely an adult" who "made mistakes" and is being dismissive when people are sharing information about it/statements from the victims in a completely neutral or even kind tone. But of course, they want to ignore that and just actively defend a groomer returning to the exact same space they offended in because they have "zero reason she is going to reoffend" based on literally nothing. extra context for those not in the know . i am bringing this up bc op (aerielart) came into tenelle's posts on twitter and said what kitf0xes has posted above. People are mad at tenelle because he is choosing to support a groomer and has quadrupled down on it at this point, they are not being mean just to be mean. Coming to his defense and claiming that people are turning him into a "unperson" is gross. why are we using terms like this for something like this. you are defending a groomer who ruined people's lives. People are going to get mad at you. People are going to get mad at the groomer. You cannot claim a groomer has "grown and changed" when they have never and STILL haven't said sorry in a public setting. what remorse is their if theirs no admission of wrongdoing outside a leaked fucking dm?
