My Sims 4 Legacy Challenge

No sooner had I made my previous post than Melody found the recipe!

Just noticed that I didn't get a screenshot after the occult band around the plumbob was gone but there she is! Wolf gone!

Working tirelessly on extra projects so that she can graduate early. I don't know why Svetlana was offered early graduation and Melody wasn't... there seems to be a glitch about the high school stuff? But I haven't played since the update updated, so... maybe it'll be better?

Every day the principal and the Class 2 teacher comes and chats with Melody. This is why so many of the teenagers in my save "date" adults??

The cowplants died again... seriously, why don't gardeners or butlers tend to them? They're part of the gardening skill!

Esmeralda and La'ei are doing the soulmate aspiration so they sped through like 6 dates (original flavor...they're so much easier... sorry, Lovestruck)

Although Esmeralda said something mean to La'ei and she abruptly ended the date. Marilyn started being mean to Aadhya before she died too and I'm just like how do I turn off elders becoming assholes?

This is how Melody looked upon growing up and I was very nervous but underneath the unfortunate makeup she looked normal

I enclosed the area where the dead cowplants are/were so that I would standardly have the windows and columns at the ready for the Mansion Baron aspiration which I do for every person in the family to get some quick aspiration points and the cowplants revived!

Melody almost ate the cake

Melody transformed for the first time on a full moon on the peak. Melody was able to harvest the moonflower before she rampaged.

New aspiration: cure seeker

She has wolfsbane and the moonflower but she's still trying to get the recipe for Wolf-B-Gone. She has the book that internet says the recipe is in but she has to keep reading it to find it. I thought the recipe was going to be something she'd dig up by itself so I spent a night scavenging in moonwood mill but she did find a lot of things.

Then everyone got a phone call that Georgy died in a fire

I love Esmeralda and La'ei as parents.

I want to see how many generations of my legacy can convince Lilith and Marilyn to have babies lol

Melody rode her bike in the house

La'ei and Esmeralda got remarried. I mean, I guess they say til death do us part and La'ei died... so it makes sense

They got married at the ancient ruins which was such a bad call on my part because I had to tool mod the wedding stuff to be where I wanted them and then the game didn't recognize it as being on the lot and it screwed up some of my wedding objectives - but I used UI cheats to fix it.

Marilyn and Lilith were present at the wedding and I'm pretty sure I gave them both food poisoning because these dummies ate when Esmeralda called people to eat from the buffet. They should know not to eat food...

I also clicked on Lilith to see what's up and Lilith is pregnant with twins.

I had Esmeralda set out the wedding cake and she imMEDIATELY FUCKING ATE A PIECE. I didn't even have a chance to tell her not to. WEDDING STORIES. DO BETTER. Seriously, if it's earmarked as the wedding cake, no one should touch that fucking cake until one of the options is chosen. I want to love weddings. I hate weddings, they're all so annoying

Esmeralda has made some jewelry for Melody to wear as a werewolf and cloned a ton of them on the cloning machine. I wanted to cheat away Melody's werewolf trait because I've been dealing with werewolves for too long... but I didn't have an heir that was a werewolf yet and I'm pretty sure I'm going to do the Werewolf cure aspiration, so...

I'm incapable of keeping a cowplant alive. I wish the butler and/or the gardener would tend to them because that's how my other plants stay alive...

One of Valentina's romantic interests asked for her blessing to go out with another one of her romantic interests and she said hell yeah! Spread that love around!

I worked really hard on them getting all of their skills before aging up. I made liberal use of the plumbite spheres to keep them awake and happy and the adults awake and happy as well!

The girls grew up to children!

I saw that she was a Volkov, so I wanted to see how closely related they are

Kristopher Volkov is their closest shared relative. Melody's great-great-grandfather is (forgot her name)'s great-grandfather. (Svetlana's great-grandfather too)

La'ei's ghost showed up

Esmeralda professed her undying love

Esmeralda invited La'ei to join household and we have all these bottles of vitality nectar......

So La'ei has returned!

So La'ei dying unmarried them, so Esmeralda proposed to La'ei again and this time she proposed with a ring that she made herself.

La'ei still had all of her aspiration points so I had her get mermaid kelp, so La'ei is a mermaid now

Valentina went out with King Link from Cupid's Corner (also the food never arrived at this restaurant)

Valentina and King tried for baby and Valentina got pregnant

Esmeralda had her baby and her name is Svetlana

Valentina went on a date with another guy from Cupid's Corner and King showed up and proposed to Valentina... which was super awkward

She said no, of course. She's not interested in settling down. She wants to spread the love around.

Then NYLE proposed also and she turned him down too.

Valentina maxed out the violin skill

Valentina gave birth and her daughter is Melody - went for a musical name. I was also inspired by Melody Pond from Doctor Who.

I let Svetlana remain a newborn until she aged up to infant automatically and I aged Melody up to an infant right away so the two are only one day apart in age

So, I was wrong, Esmeralda was pregnant! I wanted to get a portrait with La'ei before she passed...

Which was a good instinct because she pretty immediately died after the pictures...

So sad. Esmeralda only ever loved one person...

Valentina graduated!

Valentina finished another week of classes and signed up for her last four. These grades are brought to you by plumbite, btw. I don't think Valentina has slept even once since she's been a teen...

I love this and I'm like, oh, this is a family heirloom because Marilyn stole this from Judith Ward, since she obviously had beef with her.

Multiple times when I've told a sim to Harvest All, they ended up with multiple money tree seeds, so the room on the left is all money trees. My sims don't need that much money... they have 5,000,000 simoleons and still have 7,000,000 in the money vault. Why did I do that? Just for funsies?

Out of nowhere, one of Valentina's friends shamed her about Malik? I plan for Valentina to be a serial romantic

I tried to hire a NEW butler because Hali'a quit and then Hali'a showed up again and then quit again because she ran into Georgi again. I cheated away their relationship because I couldn't make the game send me a different butler.

Georgi's Uncle Jasper called Georgi and was like you should step up since you got her pregnant and all...

Georgi sent a flirty selfie and then asked for a hangout with Kyla because I wanted to get the whole family together but I couldn't invite Brooklyn

I used MC Command Center to bring her here but she disappeared immediately. Very annoying.

Georgi and Valentina are close and they do a lot of things together. Valentina showed an aptitude for piano and she finished a creative aspiration as a kid. Georgi grew up and so did Valentina.

So she enrolled in university, making her the third person in the family to go to university and the second to go to Britechester.

I installed a mod that teens could get pregnant during mess around and Georgi got Kyla pregnant and he has a daughter named Brooklyn!

He hasn't met her yet though. I have an apartment set up for when Georgi ages up and I'm going to move Brooklyn in with him.

Esmeralda got recruited into the gardener career and she kept the gnomes a secret!

Esmeralda used the portal that Melina made to go to Sixam and Selena Gomez and Ariana Grande were already there! As well as Kristopher Volkov!

The twins aged up and moved out

Hali'a and Georgi DESPISE each other... so she quit. First time I've ever had a butler quit!

Esmeralda has also crafted lots of plumbite obelisks and rings, so I've been using the needs don't decay to its full advantage! Esmeralda also has Melina's cloning machine, so she clones the objects and the plumbite. Valentina maxed the piano skill, she's also gotten pretty far into the violin skill, she's near the end of her first term at uni, she already turned in her term paper and gave her presentation.

Marilyn tried to invite Esmeralda to the library while she was in her vampire form. Nice try, Marilyn!

The family went camping and La'ei crossed the 5 camping activities off of her mid-life crisis list.

Esmeralda also is having an early mid-life crisis now.

Esmeralda accepted Rank 5 in the tech guru career. And her mid-life crisis bucket list is about getting ahead and she wants to go to work focused and get a promotion.

I really struggled with this because I was like... I wanted Esmeralda to have principles and I was like well, it says it's not her job to investigate and let Internal Affairs handle it. I'd say yes. Like, in my job, I'd report stuff to HR but then the button doesn't say let Internal Affairs handle it, it says look the other way.

I decided that Esmeralda would rather not work for a company where ranking Space Rangers were corrupt so I let her quit. She's going to finish her rocketship, so she'll still get to do her passion of space.

I might accept one of the job offers she gets. She got offered a style influencer or something and I said no to that but maybe I'll just let her work on the gemology skill. Melina dug up SO MANY CRYSTALS so Esmeralda has more than 100 crystals. Esmeralda also has all of Melina's inventions, so she has the cloning machine and she's made a ton of the Plumbite, so I've been utilizing the charged plumbite to get the kids to meet their goals and whatnot.

So Esmeralda is burnt out even though she's unemployed.

La'ei is experiencing a mid-life crisis right now and she wants to go camping, so I'm thinking the family will go on a camping trip over the weekend.

As soon as Esmeralda and La'ei returned from their wedding, they had a science baby... and it was twins and they're both werewolves even though Esmeralda is just a dormant wolf.

The house was too big to care for the babies because I swear babies are harder than they were before and the sims just pause for long amounts of time and don't complete tasks or sims put the baby down and then someone else comes over and picks it up, so annoying, so I redid the house again. I made a room with a patio and an ensuite bathroom that I locked and made the toddler/infant area and that mostly worked.

The twins are both boys and their names are Yuri and Aleksandr.

The twins aged up to toddlers and they science baby'd again and they had another son, named Georgy. Georgy is genderfluid (I decided on that because when he aged up to a toddler he had a CC hair that was pigtails)

Then they were running out of space in the household, so I increased the household size and they had another science baby, this time the Legacy Heir and named her Valentina. I had Jasper move in with the Volkov's so he could be with other werewolves (because I almost deleted Georgy when I went into the CAS mode because of the household size cheat) and plus Jasper kept getting very destructive.

I knocked Valentina's milestones out of the park. She got top notch infant but she didn't end up getting top notch toddler which I think is pretty wild because she was attended to constantly.

This is the first time I've gotten the Loves Books toddler quirk and I love it so much.

La'ei took the kids to an arcade-y restaurant after Kya died

The kids are all named after Russian Cosmonauts because Esmeralda is an astronaut and I went with the Russians because they were the first humans in space and the first woman in space was Russian, Yuri Gagarin was the first human in space and the other boys are named for Aleksandr Skvortsov and Georgy Beregovoy which I just chose because I liked the names and the spellings (though I have a few regrets that I didn't use Konstantin Feoktistov)

Valentina Tereshkova was the first woman in space - I toyed with the idea of making Valentina's name Laika instead for the dog Laika who went up to space but I went with Valentina. However, Esmeralda got dog lover as her randomized trait when she aged to a child and I think that's a perfect reason to adopt a dog and name it Laika...

I was aware that Kya and Melina weren't long for the world so I made sure to get some portraits taken

They also went on a date for pride (custom holiday)

The date was at one of their first date spots (they messed around for the first time after they ate at this restaurant (a vegetarian restaurant I made in an "old greenhouse" in Evergreen Harbor))
