When audiences look at press for a film, they want to drown in the fantasy and fake plot and corny tropes. They don't want to see some actor inserting his wife and her nationality into the conversation. If you're married legitimately you live your life private and that's it. After Red One , where Chris was inserting this girl into every fucking sentence, it drove away audiences. They wanted to hear about the film, not his personal life. Again, another thing that isn't the norm with Chris. He is PRIVATE. That isn't. And again you got swarms of articles about his "wife", as if she was the main plot of the entire film.
