Sorry, Baby — 2025, dir. Eva Victor
While I'm on the subject, a lot of people may not know how to pluralize the word "Cree", which is my tribe
So traditionally we add an 'e' for every person
So Crees technically refers to two people
Creees would be a group of three, Creeeeees would be six etc
Makes it easy to tell how many people are being talked about
You would think that a single Cree would be Cre, but we add the second 'e' to make it easy to pronounce in english
You have to add a minimum of 50,000 E's if you're referring to every Cree on earth as a whole
Sé mi compañero, Louis. Sé todo lo bello que eres, y sélo sin disculparte. Por toda la eternidad.
Hey guys. This was posted by my friend Mohammed Ayesh, who's the on-the-ground vetter for our list of verified fundraisers. Despite the horrifying situation, he maintains a smile. He has lost a lot of weight, something that saddens me to see.
What you don't see in this video is that behind the top of that hill, there were tanks. They might've been zionist occupation ones, they might've been American ones. Either way. There were tanks. And soon after they opened fire and rained hell on everyone, while the Ghazzawiyeh were gathered there to get bags of flour.
He described to me the terror that was in his heart as he ran away from this, praying to God asking Him to save him. He promised he would never go back to these again if God saved him. And he made it out alive. He might not have a choice though, he will likely have to go back if it means he can feed his family for a while.
Please. Help him. I don't know what else I can do besides plead for his case. Please help him.
And we all still die
What will you leave behind?
From Dean Spade: "Trump's new trans military ban is leading to lots of pro-military media coverage, portraying the military as a wonderful job for trans people, and trans people as stellar soldiers who should be included on the front lines of US military imperialism[…] The story is the same as it was seven years ago, if not worse: the US military is the largest source of violence on earth, the largest polluter on earth, and a terrible job where sexual assault and other forms of violence are permanent features. If we care about trans people, and all people, we need to dismantle the US military, not try to join it."
i love dean :)
tired of posts that are like "why should i go to therapy when the reason i'm upset is because of SOCIETY" and it's like
yeah. have you ever heard of a locus of control. you don't have control over Society but you do have control over your reaction to it
Moooola!
This is cosmic horror. To me.
Artist is Thomas Deininger.
@andrasandreas replied:
The artist is Thomas Deininger btw - He creates these sculptures from garbage he finds on beaches and dumpsters to create images of animals that are threatened due to human activity. In his own words, he wants to replace the viewer's confidence in understanding the world with unease. Plus he also wants to share the idea that "There’s so much junk around us that we can recreate the natural world"
