This is an actual message I was just sent on grindr. I understand that there are some that have experimented with their sexuality at a very young age and have turned out fine, and I’m not trying to make generalizations. However, legally, age of consent in certain areas exists for a reason. As a younger teenager, I turned to sex as a form of making up for physical affection as well as a form of self harm. I also had heard stories of all of these guys having sex by 14 or 15 and wanted to see what it was all about. It became expected of me, and I began coupling my compulsive sex with substance abuse for nearly 2 years straight to deal with a lot of deeper internal issues (as sex addiction usually implies). I was abused and taken advantage of physically/sexually on more that one occasion. It’s a miracle that throughout that time, I didn’t develop any sexually transmitted diseases, especially because of how Texas’ Sex Education system works (abstinence only, cover of diseases transmitted through vaginal sex, no oral, anal, or contraceptive coverage of any kind). All of my advice comes from personal experience, and, factually, I do have something to add: LGBT men (especially young gay and trans men), experience the highest rate of eating disorders among the male demographic. As a general whole, queer men are EXPECTED to have as much sex as possible with as many muscled bodies as they can. This is why bears, twinks, and other subsets of the gay culture are more shamed for things they do that aren’t actively participating in their assigned sexual roles. The hypersexuality of the queer community is extremely harmful to younger people. It’s our job to stop this stigma and educate people before it fucks them over.

Absolutely true. Hypersexuality in the community is very harmful at any age but even worse when you don’t have a fully developed sense of ‘self’. Your ability to ‘please’ someone can become the sole reason you feel you have value and that’s not right or true. Part of my vehemence about age on my blog is the level of emotional and mental maturity it requires to participate in sex, let alone fetish sex. Dom/sub is not for the ‘weak’ or inexperienced because it, even more than ‘vanilla’ sex, can do incredible damage without realizing it.
While I 100% understand the urge at that age, decision making and self control REALLY aren’t high enough to be safe in any arena. It’s simply too early even in late teens/early twenties just because you can get too wrapped up in feeling good to realize that you’re in danger. Self control is a very desirable trait to someone like me and the ability to ‘delay gratification’ is a sign of mental maturity that is important in just about every area of your life. It’s easy to become addicted to the response you get from pleasing others and to lose sight of your value as a person.
It’s not strictly about you when someone else is involved either. Being underage has legal implications for the person you are with. Lying about your age to gain access to sex can ruin lives. If you are willing to destroy someone’s life for your sexual pleasure you aren’t ready for it. Period. I’m not dismissing those boys who feel that urge, I am however fulfilling my role when I say: WAIT.
There is a time for everything and your youth is best spent exploring yourself and your interests. Work toward being the person you want to be so that you have more than just a body to share with people when the time is right.

So, a bit of news...
The past few weeks I've gotten a lot more comments and messages on my posts, and for that, thank you!!! It's always nice to see new comments and replies in reblogs; they motivate me to write more!

Well, the thing is, I am currently writing a new story, but it's not just a small Tumblr short; it's an actual story, like the ones I used to write at gayspiral.com (check them out! Just look for the author MCBrain). However it somehow got...long. Like 56 pages in Word long(16000 words for y'all readers out there). And I still have a long way to finish.
So the thing I'm wondering about, is how to release this all. Should I do a Netflix and unload it all at once on gayspiral? Chop it into pieces (gasp!) then post it all? Or should I try to go legit and actually publish?
Do y'all even care??? 🤣 I'm just rambling, don't mind me.
But if you do have thoughts, let me know! And as always, thank you for your support!
