During Shane's Rose Landry era Ilya went insane and did a ton of reckless shit and Cliff half jokingly asked if he needed to call Ilya's mom or something and Ilya just went "hard to call the dead" or something like that and that's how Cliff found out Irina was dead because i know in my heart soul and ass that ilya deflected every. single. godam. time.

In 2011, Ilya and Cliff had a reality show for less than a season because VH1 wanted to capitalize off the Jersey Shore and it made it to air because some exec was obsessed with hockey and wanted to make it happen. They were put up in a rented McMansion in Quincy, it was filmed over the summer, and most of the storylines had to get figured out in the editing bay and with archival footage of the hockey games. Ilya and Cliff were paid a stupid amount of money and got sponsored by Jagermeister. And then nobody watched it so it was canceled after six episodes. (Shane is delighted when he learns about the show and gets wine drunk with Rose and Sveta to watch it on Tubi.)

Rest in peace Akihiro Miwa (1935-2026)

I haven't seen anyone talking about this and just wanted to make a quick post on here.

Akihiro Miwa recently passed away peacefully june 20th, and was not only a drag queen and a queer icon, but also the japanese voice of Arceus in the movie Arceus and the jewel of life, as well as the witch from Howl's moving castle and Moro from Princess Mononke.

Rest in peace and thank you for the wonderfull impact you made in this world.

Thinking about Shane standing in his closet talking with Ilya who is sitting on the bed on his phone and asking him to pick between shirts . Holding up two shirts and Ilya teasing him for how similiar they are and then just. They both have to take a beat. have to pause and step away from this moment as this kind of domesticity hits them both in the solar plexus. Bc they can see it happening again and again and again for the rest of their lives. That’s the dream and they’re starting to live it.
