Emotions
Raven always argued with her emotions and the impact and influence they have on her powers and her own independent choices. A strong reminder was the Wicked Scary Event; wherein Timid forced the film to manifest in the tower and the Titans couldnât leave until she admitted she was afraid. And she was currently trying to meditate and mediate the interests and impulses the psychic manifestations of her emotional spectrum desired and longed to do.
âBrave, we are not going base jumping for the fifth time. The practice is dangerous and is high risk; we need to maintain ourselves to perform hero duties and fight villains.â She droned on unhappy how often her emotions were single-minded. âBut itâd be cool!â Brave started. âBut it is a health risk statistically speaking.â Knowledge spoke up, not looking up from a book. In response Brave blew a raspberry at the brown clad emotional duplicate.
âWhat about going to a dive bar with a holoring and beating the snot out of some punk.â Rage hissed with a gleeful smirk. âT hmmmâŠ. That is the same issue as Braveâs idea.â Raven groaned out. âWe. Are. Heroes. We canât go about beating people up.â
âI⊠I have a-an i idea.â Timid stuttered out. Barely audible as the other emotions and Raven turned to her. âWhatâs your idea Timid?â Knowledge asked closing her book, giving the grey duplicate her entire attention. âW-what if w-w we got G-G-Gar to come u up with activities. H-he is s-s-super in touch i in with h his emotions. H he could take us o-o-on trips to l-l-let us out.â Her stutter grew worse she continued to speak as she felt her own idea sounded dumber as she continued speaking.
âThat actually sounds like a good idea.â Knowledge said. âHe would pick activities that would allow us to express ourselves through Raven and he would keep us and her safe. Allowing Raven to work with us to prevent emotional outbursts affecting her life.â Raven couldnât argue with Knowledgeâs logic, sheâd willingly let herself be taken over to let them express themselves and keep them happy and content.
âYAY! We get to date Beastie-Boo!â Happy shouted and cheered as she danced around the other emotional duplicates who all soon were blushing and excited on personalised dates. Which was not the direction or intention Raven wanted but wasnât jealous. As they were just fragments of her, and Garfield loved her for her and so he loved the entirety of her character.
âSo, how do we determine who gets to go on the first date?â Knowledge calmly asked as she and Raven could see the potential argument about to start soon.
âOooh Timid should.â Love responded. âShe provided the cool idea for cute dates with our Jade Hercules. Then Raven can choose who goes afterwards.â The purple clad duplicate gave her nervous twin a comforting smile.
âThat works. So Timid; you get to go up top and have your date.â Happy giggled.
As Raven opened the portal to the outside world as led Timid to it. As they passed through it; Raven felt like a conscious passenger in her own body. With Timid at the wheel she quickly sensed out Garfield and teleported to him. She was anxious about bothering him but saw him just reading comics in the comms room.
âH hi G-G-Gar.â Timid was blushing like crazy as she approached him. âHey there Raa-Timid?â He corrected himself as he was a little confused at Timid in control of Ravenâs body. Timid moved beside him and hugged Garfield. âR-Raven is letting out and h-hang with you. S-s-so you c-c-can help pick o-out activities w-we can do.â Gar nodded, taking that all in and smiled. âSo, what would you like to do today Timid?â He was genuinely happy at Raven in part, allowing him to help her regulate them and teach her to healthily express herself.
âC-could we make a p-p-pillow fort and cuddle. A-and have you r-read stories to m-m-me.â Timid blushed heavily as she asked. âYeah, of course, we can ask to borrow some from Starfire, hers are the most plush and soft. You can pick the book and we can enjoy some snacks and good stories.â Garfield kissed her on the cheek as he went to go get the pillows for their day in.

âD-does he know heâs doing this with everyone?â Brave dumbly asked. âWhy do you ask Brave?â Knowledge inquired âHeâs planning an entire day with Timid.â âOOOOOOH! We get and ENTIRE DAY WITH HIM!?â Love shouted in exhilaration and enjoyment. âI canât wait to kiss him so freaking much!â
