"This is not my home, this is not solely my responsibility to change the world but I just to try prepare myself the best I can in terms of educate myself with the places that we are going, of the problems that are there. It's ridiculously complex scenario of culture,... and religion and police and these regimes and rules which are so much different to the world that we've grown up. So I try to understand in the best of my abilites, I will never be like someone who's truly living on the ground and experiencing those things. But what I truly believe is that everyone should have equal rights, freedom of speech and freedom of movement and there are places where that's not allowed. There are places such as here the LGBT community...there's prison time, death penalty and restrictions for people from being themselves and I don't believe in that. And religions can change, rules can change, rulers can change those things they have the power to. We don't choose where we're going , others have chosen for us to be here, so we have to apply the pressure on them to make sure that are doing right by the people in those places by sparking conversations, creating that uncomfortable discussion that is needed in these places. But again me just wearing a helmet it's not going to change the world but I hope that whether it's kids here, they're more aware of it, whether it's kids back home that are more aware of the scenarios in these places. Maybe kids back home in England, for example, will be studying it more at school and learning more about inclusivity and those things, I hope." (x)
