Chimera Rising AU: Master Post

This is an AU based off of a mix of 2012 and Rise, but ultimately has its own story and lore. The turtles are chimeras because the experiments they underwent both before and after hatching, giving them a multitude of animal dna, along with some human dna. Basic chimera differences: ➸ Ability to grow hair and fur ➸ Wider vocal range for animal noises/mimicry ➸ Some instabilities, mostly prone to become mildly feral ➸ Abnormalities in carapace and plastron, have open ridges that give more flexibility but is also more vulnerable !!Have fun scrolling the blog! have a 2012 AU! been obsessed a bit about Splinter econnecting with his old life in a way, and this invaded my brain while listening to a SHINEE orchestration (maybe i should make playlists?? idk)
