I've had a stabbing pain in my abdomen all day that's only gotten worse, to the point that I threw up from pain, and as soon as I got to the er the pain is gone????????? That's some god damn bullshit, body....
Jesus, I posted this 5 minutes ago, right after the nurse drew my blood, and I already have my blood work results. This after the doctor came in while the nurse was telling me the doctor would be in shortly
This place is efficient at 11pm
... So I think the pain stopped because I passed a kidney stone while giving my urine sample at the hospital.
I'm not a gatekeeper so yall. the best thrift stores are the ones that look bad. do not go to cool trendy thrift stores with hot alt twenty-something employees. (I mean you can if you want but enjoy paying $40 for a fuckass shirt.)
here's what you actually want in a thrift store:
in a rich town
run by a church
staffed exclusively by little old ladies
most of the clothes will be butt ugly. but they will also be 1) good quality and 2) cheap af. the 70 year olds running the shop think a thrifted shirt should be $3 and they are correct. everyone else shopping there is over the age of 45 so you won't have to throat punch any depop resellers over a cunty little top. you will get hyped up by old ladies and if you frequent the same shop they may start trying to set you up with their grandkids. everyone wins and who knows their grandkids might be hot.
If it doesn't look like the Ark of the Covenant might be stashed in the back somewhere, don't waste my time.

Heather picked up a fancy bag of truffle flavored popcorn at the corner store on her way to work this morning.
Except it's not popcorn, it's kettle corn. It's a sweet popcorn with truffle flavor added over top.
I was shocked because I wasn't expecting the sweetness. Heather was shocked because she thought it was supposed to be a chocolate truffle flavor, not a mushroom truffle one.
I really dislike Kawaii Future Bass or whatever this genre is called so I made it sound shitty with a bunch of random samples.

Yeah, I turned into a giant beetle a few years back. But since they're letting people work remote these days it didn't really change much. I mean, teaching myself how to type without hands and getting used to never being around people was a real bear of a thing, but I got there in the end. Yeah, a few times a year they have passive aggressive meetings about the whole Return To Work thing and how people trying to work remote all the time aren't team players and aren't the type of people this company wants, and then, you know, gotta remind them, still a giant bug haha! Couldn't get in the office if I tried! Can't be in most public spaces, truth be told, but of course you can't tell HR that, that's not a work conversation. Or a conversation for polite company in general. Or friends, really, because what do you want them to do, remember you're giant vermin all over again? You get used to it, anyway. There's still work to be done. And there's this little window I've got that looks out on the street. Covered in shades, of course, so no one has to see in and get jumpscared by a giant bug, but you can kind of see the people walking around down there, through the slats. Sometimes if I open my windows in spring I can almost smell the flowers. What more can a person ask for?
This is what I was alluding to when I discussed that the volume of name changes you have to make as a trans person highlights the ridiculous amount of documentation attached to you.
Went to a friend's house to play a ttrpg and my car got broken into while I was there. Thief stole my toll money ($1.50 in quarters) and my crochet bag, but thankfully only the canvas tote bag I got from the bank, they left my yarn and my $75 set of ergonomic crochet hooks.
