Description

The images on my banner and profile picture are drawings by @kryceir and @fuzzsux, respectively. This blog started as a place where I would share stories, anecdotes, and accounts of my everyday life, but it has taken a different direction. I usually post snippets of song lyrics that I really like and occasionally something related to the bands and artists I listen to. As you can see and as I've mentioned before, my favorite artist is Chris Cornell, so you'll find a lot of content about him here. This blog is more personal to me, a small safe space to share some of my interests.

I haven’t posted song lyrics I like in a long time. Honestly, I really miss it. I’ve saved up quite a few over time.

I’ll also take the chance to say that I’ve been listening to a lot of prog rock and prog metal lately, and I really enjoy it.

What I like most about Scream is its continuity. The transitions between songs are really satisfying. You don't even notice when one ends and the next one begins.

Didn't know what to post today so, here's a picture of Kurt and Krist kissing each other.

I apologize if there are any grammatical errors. I wrote this in my native language and didn't want to translate it by hand, so I put it through a translator. If you're reading this, you don't have to say anything. I just wanted to vent and didn't know how or where. The mere fact that you're reading this is something. Don't worry about my life. I know I say some ugly things here, but they are written from deep pain. I felt a lot of s3lf-destruct!ve impulses when I wrote it, so putting it into words was a way (perhaps not the best) to vent without hurt!ng mys3lf.

I am not trying to promote dangerous behavior, far from it. Please don't let this take away your hope. Remember, I wrote this in a moment of deep pain, and it does not represent all of my experiences.

I’ve always wondered what the process was like for taking these photos. I mean, did the photographer ask them to pose in a certain way? Or did they just give them complete freedom? Could they (the band) suggest angles or locations? I would’ve loved to see one of these sessions.

They definitely look truly confident in the photos…

Having done a little band photography, it goes like this:

You meet them outside the venue/studio/hotel, take some basic shots in an interesting corner. Then you suggest an idea. They say no. You suggest another idea. They look at each other, shrug, mumble a bit, but don’t actually say anything. You ask what they want to do. Then you do that until they get called away to do something else. If you’re lucky, their management/label will want you to book a follow-up shoot in a more interesting location, when you’ll get more memorable shots. If not, back to the darkroom with you.
