For your kabocha pancakes can you make them with coconut flour instead?
They wouldn't hold together as well. Coconut flour results in very brittle pancakes because they are really absorbent. You would have to change and alter a good bit in that recipe.
Hey guys! I made this photo collage for a fitness modeling/gym representative job that I am applying for in Philly. I figured I would post it here as well to show you guys where I started to where I am right now. The top 3 photos were at the beginning of my journey. The bottom 4 are from this past weekend. I am amazed at how far I have come. From "chubby" and unhealthy to scary skinny, then to fit, healthy and happy.
I am so happy now and I feel like it shows. I want you all to be able to get to the point where you can look in the mirror and be proud of what you have achieved. Your goal may not be to build a bunch of muscle like me, but set a goal and work for it. Never give up. When you achieve that goal, make another one. Never stop. Always keep pushing. This is a lifestyle, not a diet. You should never settle for being healthy just for spring or summer. You and your body deserve better than that.
You are all beautiful and inspiring people and you can do whatever you want. Don't allow people to hold you back and tell you that you can't. I am here to tell you that you can. If I can do it, anyone can. Believe in yourself.
Hey! Love your blog :) I was just wondering how long you lift/strength train. i usually do no more than 30 minutes a day, alternating each time (leg day, arm/ab day, leg day...). Thanks!
I personally lift for at least 60 minutes, but my goals are to build more lean muscle mass. I lift 5 times a week, working a different body part every week.
inbox me 1 thing you wanna know about me.
Girls girls girls do this!!! This is the workout that helped me to get rid of alot of the lower fat… if you are like me and end up rolling around :D put your hands into a diamond shape and put it under your butt to stop you from rolling, try it i swear you will see results asap
Just did 30… feeling it
Make sure to do it slowly and controlled like she is. Do not swing your legs. You want your lower abdominals to do the work, not the momentum from you swinging your legs. Be sure to contract while performing. I do these while lying on a decline bench the opposite way to add resistance.
Hey girl! I usually work out after dinner because of my work schedule, and I usually work out about an hour after I eat. But about half the time, I end up feeling shaky and weak within the first ten minutes. I am anemic so I do get weak easier, but I know it's not from under eating since I just ate dinner. What kind of foods can I eat for dinner that will fuel my work outs better? I'm open to anything.
Oh my that sounds scary! We don’t want you being shaky and weak and trying to work out.
When I have a pre-workout meal, I have something higher in complex carbs and fat with a bit of protein. Carbs and fat are the macro-nutrients that fuel activity. One of my favorite pre-workout meals are protein pancakes and sweet potato with peanut butter and baked chicken breast. Those are just two examples. You could also Google “preworkout meals” and that could help a lot!
Listen to your body. If you get weak and shaky do not continue to work-out.
