Mastery Reflection: December 2014
While continuing on my Mastery Journey, I have successfully worked towards completing my twelfth and final month of study at Full Sail University. The Internet Marketing Campaign Development course allowed me to implement all of the concepts I learned over the past twelve months and put it into a campaign for my case study company.
My personal goal this month was to learn the best campaign strategies and how to create them. One of my strategies was to create my own successful marketing campaign. Another strategy was to read “Promoting Discovery: Creating an In-Depth Library Marketing Campaign” on EBSCOHost. And my final strategy was to gain knowledge of Internet marketing campaigns by viewing the Marketing Solutions LinkedIn page. I have been able to complete all of these strategies and taking this course, along with completing the strategies mentioned above, has allowed me to feel comfortable in understanding how to successfully create and pitch a Internet marketing campaign for an organization.
I also enjoyed working on the personal branding section of the course. While it is important to understand the concepts necessary for successful Internet marketing for an organization, it is also important to ensure your personal brand as an individual is positive and represents the proper information.
Overall, this has been an extremely thought provoking experience and I continue to learn more and more everyday. I can’t wait to continue to learn more about the growing Internet marketing concepts and environment and utilize my Masters to help organizations successfully brand and promote their companies.
